I did not like the hotel, but the maintenance guy was nice. Dirty, actual dirt in the bed, loud neighbors until 5 am. The front desk clerk was unfriendly. There was sand in the bed. The blow dryer did not work. There was a dusty hairball on the floor when we first entered the room. There were people with kids hanging outside the room until 5 am being loud, drunk, and disrespectful.

We arrived in Corpus to visit family late Saturday after a funeral in Laredo and decided to stay over. Our favorite hotel had only smoking rooms left, so we stayed here to be close to family. We were exhausted from the drive (SA to Laredo to Corpus) and emotionally drained, just wanting to get in bed. Checked in at 10:00 pm and found this: strong odor (not bad, possibly a cleaner), mold/mildew in shower, and worst of all, hair and what seemed to be Kleenex in the bed. I could barely sleep (on top of blanket), and certainly didn't want to eat there or even make coffee. There's more: wires sticking out of wall, mirror framing coming off, microwave on top of refrigerator (both wobbled when my husband tried to store his insulin in fridge). When I complained the next morning, "sorry about that," was the answer!

The free hot breakfast in the morning was awesome! Was missing a coffeemaker and a TV remote in my room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. My family thoroughly enjoyed the free hot breakfast. It was delicious with gravy and biscuits, omelets, scrambled eggs, sausage and hot or cold cereal. The only thing that it lacked was some fresh fruit. It was awesome!

Please look for another motel. This motel was very bad. The rooms were very dirty and smelled bad. Our fist room did not have light. Roaches were running free all over the place. The second room we got was a bit better but was dirty and the T.V. did not work. If you are looking for a bad motel this it!!!! I would not stay here again!!!!

Manager was rude! They were trying to remodel but horribly. Old building. Ugly rooms. Had mold on wall. Had put down carpet but did not finish before renting room. Smelled bad. Very musty old mold smell. Hated it! Would not recommend going to this place at all. Smelled bad, mold on wall, and bad service. Manager very rude. Bad customer service. Very rundown looking. Does not look like pictures. Need entire remodel. Cracks in upper floor walls and walkways. Railing rusted and unsafe to lean on. Would grade "F."

The hotel was being remodeled, the room I stayed in (409), had mold on the picture frame. The lampshade look like it had been burned around the edges. No face towels in the rest room. The evening staff was rude, they could barely speak English, I ask for an iron and ironing board. They told me that they would bring it to the room, 30 minutes later I went to the lobby, and the individual was sitting on the sofa with has buddy on the internet. I will never stay in this place again.

This motel is roach infested. The floors are dirty. There were roaches in the microwave and fridge. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper b/c all we had in the room was a half used roll. They didnt answer the phone in the office so we had to hunt down housekeeping just to be able to take a shower. There were holes in the wall and they were molded in spots. The room was dark and it had a fowl odor. The sheets didnt fit the bed so we had to sleep on top of them instead of under them. Overall I will never pay 130 for a roach motel again!!! Please dont waste your money or your time!!!

Front desk clerk checks us in ok but in t-shirt and slacks. not very professional. Lobby was clean, but once in parking area I did not feel comfortable leaving car. Room was clean but needed alot of updating. found that the carpet by A/C unit was wet and getting worse. TV remote did not work. Complained to front desk who said would come up and check on both. Never did. In the evening, people are loitering in parking lot and by rooms. Noisy and did not really sleep well due to people talking and walking by our room at all hours. Was suppose to stay for 4 nights but checked out after 1 night. Management needs to address rooms, and A/C units, TV and provide better security for parking lot. Will not stay there again.

Had the hotel checked by my son prior to booking reservations as he is stationed in Corpus. He was shown a room that looked very good. Upon check-in, there was a customer complaining about her room and wanting a refund. Once in the room, it was a dump to say the least. The room was filthy, large stains on the carpet. Roaches ran out from behind the door. Toilet would not flush. Tub had mold growing around soap holder. Lamp shades had brown stains around lower edge of shade and furniture was in poor shape. Changed rooms since it was the middle of the night when we arrived. Second room was a little better, but not good. No signs of roaches at least. Clerk at the front desk initially asked if the TV was the problem with the room. When we went back up to collect our bags, I found that the TV only received one channel that was fuzzy rather than the variety advertised. Clerk immediately went from speaking fluent English with his co-workers to spanish once the problems were brought up. Lots of people loitering in parking lot late into the night. Awoke to car alarms twice during the night. Fortunately, not ours.

"the air conditioning, shower, hair dryer, and hot tub did not work. The staff would not even provide an extra blanket for my child even when the hotel was half empty. Dead and live roaches around building."

One feature of this hotel is the sink plumbing which was held together with duck tape where the water would fall on the floor.
