Ants appeared if anything was left out, needed a remodel - in & out! Was disappointed. Curb appeal was a little shocking. Was nice in it's day, probably. People at front desk did as little as possible and had no personality.

Good hotel and nice location, though if you have never been to the area Buellton is about 2-3 miles from downtown Solvang so if you want to be within walking distance of shops this might not be ideal for you. Otherwise, the hotel was what I expected for the price and I would definitely come back for the value. One oddity is that that our balcony was shared with two rooms, which was weird.

Room are big, clean, and comfort. It is a bit noisy because next to hwy 101. Also, we can hear the next room when they are taking shower, open and close door. Microwave and refrigerator are not working at all. It is a great experience. Continental breakfast is poor.

Easy access to Highway 101. I would never stay at this Days Inn again.

Perfect Sideways Hotel. A must for fans! Inexpensive enough to balance out the lavish spending we did on the wines and food.

Nice spa and courtyard. Nothing. Older, nice hotel with nice interior grounds.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff at the reception desk was less than professional. I paid a rate of $* plus tax/fees, per night. Someone came in off the street and asked for prices. They quoted her $*per night and said that her coupon wouldn't be accepted that particular weekend. When I commmented on the price quote, the clerk stated "that was the coupon price for the night." I said I thought you told her that coupons wouldn't be accepted! He just looked a bit sheepish and completed our check-in without another word. This is something I though you should be aware of.

It had a windmill. Most uncomfortable bed ever. Really uncomfortable beds. Kitchy windmill thing was vaguely amusing. Pool and hot tub were very full of children. Unappealing to we the childless 30 year olds. Solvang - home of the Danish Van Houtens!

This was my second stay of the week and my needs changed from my previous stay. I needed something nicer even if it cost a little more and a fridge. This time I was given a very nice room on the second floor with a balcony and the old lady at the front desk was very helpful in meeting my needs at no extra charge ?sweet! Once again, signs of excellent housekeeping staff were obvious, it was a slightly bigger room, still had free HBO and wireless Internet access. The extra good stuff: it had a cathedral ceiling, double sink and more privacy. Aside from some tolerable highway noise in the morning and no elevator, the room was quite gorgeous for the low price. I would definitely stay over again.

The room was clean and very roomy. It had a small bathroom. The pillows were too hard. The hotel was located right off the freeway and close to a few good restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was a plus. Our room had a coffee maker and a refrigerator. I would stay here again.

My final destination was Solvang and I just needed some place to sleep inexpensively and quiet by the time I arrived at night. The next morning after a tour of the place, I could say for sure I was given their worst room (the bathroom, the front door, and the ceiling needed inexpensive cosmetic work but were fully functional and ants went inside my laptop that I left over the table overnight). Everything was very clean, signs of an excellent housekeeping staff and the room was of good size, had free HBO, and free wireless internet access and was quiet. Overall, it was a good value for what I paid and met my needs.

Friendly, pleasant, professional staff, comfortable place, well located. Very sweet atmosphere, very friendly and professional staff. Comfortable facilities.

Had a terrible experience with the hotel. Over price for the old out dated hotel and rooms. Very poor first impression from the front desk staff. Would highly recommend that travel website take this hotel off their list. Wish I knew about the Holiday Inn Express in Solvang that travel websitedid not list as one of the hotels. Would gladly pay more for that than the Days Inn.

Convenient location. Not enough food/coffee at the complimentary breakfast.

This place is dirty. The room was musty, moldy and needs updating. Seems like the management does not care. We only stayed because everything else was full. I can't believe that Days Inn would allow their name to be put on this place. We would have been better to have slept in the car.

Location. Old-fashioned. Decent for the money.

The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable, nothing special. They had a nice complimentary breakfast, and it was a good location. We felt a little unsafe with the parking, and our patio door opened onto the main street and people could see in if the drapes were open. We probably wouldn't stay there again.

It was right off the highway. The floors were dirty along with the comforters on the bed. The pool towel was the size of a hand towel. In need of some rennovation. Then maybe the prices would be justified.

We were there for a quick weekend trip to Solvang. The room was quite large (room 227), plenty of room to walk around, even with the rollaway folded out. Basic hotel, but good value for the money. The shower worked really well and had good water pressure. Breakfast in the moring was standard continental, but a great additional value when traveling, especially if you are on a budget and feeding a family. Next time I'd opt for a room on the inside wth a balcony overlooking the pool. But i'd stay again.

Price for area was good. Distance from Santa Barbara. Mid range in all ways but good price value.
