Beautiful Mountain View. Our Room was clean but old. I think all the hotels and motels around here are old.But out of all, this Motel is the best. We went to the Luray Caverns. it's about 3 miles up the road. And the town of Luray is a Great little Town, and very close. The continental Breakfast was nice. The staff were Great( very helpful).Because the price was so good we stayed two days. The bathroom could use a make over, there was mold in the shower. And the miniture golf needs to be repaired. also anyone with a bad back Beware, the beds are hard. All in all we will come back again.

Very close to the Caverns and minutes from Skyline drive...offers complimentary breakfast...if you are just looking for a place to stay while you explore the surrounding areas, this hotel is very convinient.

I liked the rural feeling although the location was not great. The rooms are small, little smelly, etc. None.

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend 11/15/08 - 11/16/08. Very nice... Staff was very pleasant, nice room overlooking the mountains. I was concerned after reading some of the other reviews. Our experience was wonderful. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful. We were 3 miles from Luray Caverns and 7 miles from Skyline Drive. Luray is a great little town. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there next time.

This hotel was nice but it needed more attention to the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was mold in the shower. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired.

There was a dead bug in my bed. I've had cleaner rooms, and I've definitely had quieter rooms. I could hear the people next to me and above me the whole time.

Very close to Louray Caverns. Brekfast ends at 9.00 am, single pair of curtains on the windows. Although there were a lot of cars on the parking lot - it was very quite even in the morning. It is ideal proportion of price and quality.

The view is fantastic and the location to Luray is good so, even though the motel could improve, we'll probably stay there again unless we find something better in the future.

The Days Inn Luray had a very good location. The room was good for a couple nights stay. It is under renovation due to a fire I the kitchen but the employees are doing a good job keeping things going. All in all I would recommend it to a friend. As far as hotels in luray go its by far nicer than 75 percent of the others.

Friendly staff. Lumpy beds. This is an okay economy hotel, though it was kind of overpriced for the area. Beds are not very comfortable, but they do allow pets, and if you have a room on the ground floor, it's convenient to parking. Nice views, too. Overall okay, hotel is also pet-friendly.

We stayed with my infant in this hotel and it was a huge mistake. There were beetles crawling all over the room, all over us as we slept and worst of inside the crib and all over my baby. It was disgusting and horrible. I could not sleep all night because I was too busy brushing beetles off of my baby and husband as they tried to sleep. The fixtures in the bathroom were falling off, the bathroom sink would not turn off and dripped all night, the front door would not latch and lock! There was mold all over the bathroom and our bed was as hard as a rock and made horrible screaching noises everytime you moved a centimeter. It was dirty, unsafe and gross. It was ridiculous especially for the prices they charge! I tried to contact the manager but he never returned my calls or left messages at times I specifically said I would not be available. Stay away from this hotel!

The view of the mountains. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the view was really nice. The pool was not open yet, but seemed to be a nice feature during the summer. The rooms were clean and the location was very serene.

This property sustained major fire damage. Although we made personal contact with the hotel itself, this was never mentioned. There was no front desk, no restaurant, the rooms were substandard, not even a working telephone (thank goodness for cellphone). Very, very disappointing with nothing even remotely approaching an apology. Patronized largely by transient/working clientele who partied loud and hard. No response from front desk. Most disappointing, unpleasant experience -- no other accomodations available at that time or we would never have stayed there.

The miniature golf course on the premises. Breakfast was only until 9am. This was a quiet, scenic hotel with the friendliest most helpful staff I've ever encountered. My husband and I are already planning a 2nd trip to Luray and this is the hotel we are getting!

The front desk clerk when I checked in was very friendly and helpful. Our view was also excellent. Because the room entrances face outside, it took a long while for our heater to warm the room sufficiently. Also the lights outside were too bright. Good location and services. We had a great Wi-Fi internet signal, which can be rare in hotels. Close to the town of Luray and has a great view of the mountains. I only wish that the entrances to the rooms were inside the building. The light outside our room was way too bright and could not be shut out even with the drapes closed.

Fridge and microwave in the room. Location was good. Room was not that clean. Very basic hotel. Rooms were basic. There was some smoke smell in the room even though we requested non-smoking rooms. The towels did not seem to be very clean. Staff was friendly.

It was accessible for the attractions being visited. Pool needed diving board. Good location plan on staying at the days in whenever going to front royal or Luray. Nice getaway enjoyed it employees were very friendly.

Convenient location to Luray, very modern rooms with great staff. Outside exteriors of rooms needs painting/update. Exterior corridors, rooms face mountains (both sides), fridge, microwave, ironing board, hair dryer in room. Pool and miniature golf available. Breakfast was of two juices, hot water, tea, coffee, bagels, Danishes, toast, two types of cereal, milk and fruit. Staff was very friendly. Pets allowed for a small fee. Great place if you have a dog - lots of land on hotel site for them to run. Approximately 9 miles form the hotel to Thornton Gap entrance of SNP. Be sure to eat at the Brookside Restaurant (on your right before you enter the park-cheap and good home cooking).
