More then one of the bulbs were out in the lights in the room. There were no towels in the bathroom. My room was the first room in a hallway with a door access so the door to the hallway was slamming all day and night.

Cheap, good location, staff was friendly, cable TV, nice continental breakfast, and nice porch. Hallway was dirty and smelly, if I had a smoke allergy that could have been a problem. Very utilitarian no frills hotel great for a traveler on a budget. Room was not well decorated or fancy nut it was clean enough and comfortable, had a nice TV decent bathroom. I felt safe and comfortable. The lobby/halls of the hotel are pretty dirty and smell like smoke. If I had a problem with smoking this could have been an issue. The room, fortunately, did not smell. Loved the free continental breakfast.

For two college students this was a great deal. We only stayed for one night but had an excellent time. I've been to many hotels and this one was just fine. Very clean room, quiet, and fun. Great service, no complains here.

I chose this hotel because of the great reviews it received. As far as location, it really doesn't get better. Minutes from Burlington and attractions in Shelburne, it was very convenient to shopping, dining, etc. I got to the hotel at 9:30. I asked for an early check in and they went out of their way to get me into a room in less than 10 minutes, eventhough they were very busy. The down sides: the layout on the floor we stayed on made it pretty noisy. Eventhough we had a nonsmoking room, you could smell smoke in the hallway, and that was unpleasant. The pool is in in FRONT of the hotel, right near the highway, but it was fenced. Overall, the hotel could use a bit of sprucing up-- there was a piece of plywood that served as flooring at the main entrance, the back entrance had stained carpeting and pieces of light fixtures by the door, and much of the hotel smelled moldy/smoky. The price, location and attentiveness of the staff is why I gave generously gave it 4 stars. If they cleaned up a bit, it could easily be a 5!

The room and bathroom was large and clean. The shower curtain probably could have used replacing. Wonderful! The shower, toilet, sink, and bathroom floor were clean. The room had a fridge, sink, and microwave which was extremely convenient. I wasn't afraid to walk around on the room's carpet without shoes! The bed/sheets etc. were very clean and comfortable. The ability to park my car directly outside my first floor window was fabulous. The staff was very polite. Best of all, I didn't even see another guest until I was checking out and packing up my car, so it was a very private and relaxing stay.

A broken back door (the only security is to keep your room door locked--which didn't close on its own) preceded a ""lobby"" with old and torn furniture. Peeling wallpaper everywhere.; the place smelled. My wife swears her feet stuck to the carpet. Room decor was twenty years old: the ve-neer had come off the tablesides. Wallpaper had peeled back behind the toilet and abundant mold was growing. This unfriendly place stays in business only because of the nearby Shelburne Museum. Avoid this disgrace to the Day?s Inn franchise.

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing spectacular about this hotel, but the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and neat, and the views out back of the hotel are pretty. My wife and I had an entirely acceptable stay. The prices are not bad either.

The bed was very comfy. I can't think of anything. New construction, comfortable bed, convenient location for my trip. An overall win-win.

The Days Inn Shelburne/Burlington, Shelburne, VT was close to many places to eat, gas stations, and just down from Shelburne Farm a great place to visit and enjoy. The room was large with a desk as well as table and chairs with Kingsize bed. Had a nice vanity area with sink and long counter. The only thing missing was a closet, there was room to hang your clothes on space outside bathroom with about six hangers. It was adequate for us because we left most of our clothes in suitcases. Very clean and friendly staff. Would stay there again for sure.

Very pleasant staff, clean, quiet and friendly. Can't think of a thing. A very pleasant place to stay, nice help, clean, quiet, convenient location. Too cold to use the swimming pool, but it looks lovely, surrounded by hedges and just nice. Breakfast good for continental breakfast. Breakfast room very attractive and in the warm weather, there's a deck you can eat on.

This hotel is only 6.22 miles from the airport and convenient to Burlington as well as interesting sites north, south and east. It is clean, the staff is friendly and a double room has table, 2 chairs, desk etc. However its site offers no ammenities or view, the staff is not prepared to help with tourist inquiries, the rooms are more similar to minimalist establishments, pillows are hard and no options are available, the open wall-hanging closet didn't please us, the complimentary breakfast is adequate but offers nothing hot. It's good for a short stay but not the choice for a holiday.

Nothing special, and a drive from downtown... The room was clean and the staff very courteous, but the mattress on the king-sized bed felt more appropriate for flooring material!

I like the furniture and the cleanliness. I did not like the breakfast , it was very poor. Overall, a very nice place to stay; especially if your main concern is the room itself. Nice room and bathroom. Easy parking to get to my room. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location. No restaurants on site. The Day's Inn in Shelbourn Vermont is a real treat. Quiet andclean. Highly recommended for anyone needing to travel around the Burlington area in Vermont. A good continental breakfast is provided by the hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Hotel room clean with comfortable beds, a good shower and fully equipped bathroom.

The room was really cheap and still clean. It proved to be an adequate room, great for our purposes anyway! Vending machines broken, staff was aware, but no signs on the machines. The room was super affordable and, only a $12 cab ride to the Vermont pub and brewery! The staff was OK. The walls are really thin and theres a wing of the hotel that is under construction or something, it has wallpaper duct taped to the walls and stuff, but the rooms were clean above average bathroom size with great mirrors and lighting! The layout of the hotel is a little confusing but overall a good deal for someone looking for an inexpensive room thats still clean and safe!

Convenient location. Not very clean. Wanted a non smoking but the entire hotel smelled like smoke. Property was stolen from my car in the parking lot. Convenient location. Passably clean. Entire place smelled like smoke.

Lack of seating in the breakfast room. The room was clean, attractive and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the country atmosphere and the pool area. We would definitely stay here again.
