nice clean room. comfortable bed. clean.

No other hotel charge extra for changing the room and the front desk personnel is not polite at all.

For the price, I believe one gets the value. The rooms are clean although the bed sheets and the towels need replacement because they are already too old. One of the blankets has cigarette burns that made holes. The towels are already very dirty white in color. There's free wifi but is very slow and does not work most of the time.

came to san diego on a family vacation. the staff was extremely helpful to plan out our trip. went above and beyond to tell us the right spots to see. super clean and overall excellent

i stayed here and the staff is very helpful. the breakfast is nice with nice waffles. and i was surprised by the hundreds of channels they have. would recommend to everyone

This hotel sucked. Please don't stay here. The staff are so rude and the rooms don't have clean towels. And the Keys have to be reactived every 24 hours. The rooms are so small and close to each other the person door can hear everything your saying and the TV don't have DVD or video game hook up. The just suck. I will never stay him again. EVER

I liked that I didn't even stay there because it was so bad. Everything. It filthy excuse for a business.

The Days Inn Chula Vista was very disapointing. The location was not safe. Not a good neighborhood. The room didn't smell clean and was very small.
Date of Stay:
October, 2008
Nothing. Smoking, it is motel not hotel. This white trash motel somehow got higher rating for hotel, is not a hotel. We left early, rooms were not cleaned and smoke was every where.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
Sheets. Small bathrooms, door would not close. Would go again.

Convenient and affordable. Close to the famous San Diego Trolley and convenient to nearby restaurants. Great value for the money.

Nothing. The stink smell like a sewer. very noisy until 2 a.m.

Dirty, understaffed. Understaffed, maintenance personnel was gone when I would ask for toilet to be unplugged. Room was not done the next day when we came back at 8 pm.

Great location. Cleaning took a little too long. Good location, staff was friendly and good access to nearby cities. The only problem the cleaning of room took a little too long.
Date of Stay:
October, 2007
It was close to the amphitheater. We couldn't connect to wireless internet because our room was too far from the main router in the office. Our stay was good. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but when we were there it was fine. It's quiet even though the neighborhood was a bit rundown; it wasn't scary enough not to stay there. The hotel is older and the rooms were nothing 5-star but I thought they did a good job on keeping them at their possible best. I would stay there again but I would probably check other options first.
Date of Stay:

Free parking. Rooms old and dirty. I can't believe I actually stayed there. This is no better than a Motel 6 at the most. Rooms were dirty. The headboard on the bed fell off, the carpet was so filthy, it turned my white socks black just from walking around the room for a little bit. The mattress had a nasty huge stain on it and the shower curtain had black mold on the inside. The neighborhood is very rough. There is a fake police officer displayed in the lobby window as if to keep the thugs away that way. When we left the room to walk to the car, we were approached by homeless people, begging for money. This was a very bad stay and I can't believe how much I paid for that.

Nothing it was the worst experience I have ever had. It was absolutely disgusting. Our room was filthy, we took pictures to show staff. The front desk was no help, we finally got them to clean the room again, but we were forced out of our rooms so they could do so. It should have been clean when we arrived, there is no excuse for checking into a dirty room. I will never stay in another Days Inn again.
