The room on the south side away from the interstate. The first nightI had a room on the north side toward the interstate and it seemed like the cars and trucks were driving right through my room. I would recommend the traveler stay only on the south side of the hotel pool was nice staff was friendly and helpful. Reno was close to the hotel and easy to get into and out of Lake Tahoe was close and well worth seeing.

The inn is so near the road we suffered from loud traffic noise the whole night, and some people were smoking outside our room and talking loudly in the early hours. It put us off despite the helpful welcome.

The room was clean. The bed was comfrotable. The bathroom was small but everything worked okay. The breakfast was awful. Just a sweet roll and either orange juice or coffee. Compared with similar motels that offer cold cereal with milk, yogurt, hard boiled eggs for example, this breakfast measures up as poor nutrition and even worse taste. Wouldn't stay here again just for that reason.

Easy to find. Too close to freeway and desk not helpful. I wouldn't stay there again. I have stayed at other locations of this motel chain which were much cleaner.

While looking online last minute for a hotel room in Reno for Jul. 4th, this hotel came up as one of the few that actually had availability and a very reasonable rate compared to many others for a Fri/holiday night. Unfortunately that was the best feature of the hotel. The room had an unpleasant odor that they tried to mask with a nauseating freshener or something; there were dirty/used washcloths still hanging on the shower rod; the carpets were filthy, bedding worn/torn and dirty, many of the lamps had electric plugs that looked like they were made in the 50's (not polarized/flimsy) & would not stay plugged in to outlet creating what I viewed as a safety issue so made sure they were unplugged when we were not in the room. We were not informed of the free continental breakfast or free wireless interest when we checked in, nor was there any information in the room explaining this, or anything else about the hotel (i.e. the usual Guest Services Guide, etc.) and only because we stay at other Days Inn properties are we aware that these things are usually available, did we try to call the front desk to ask about them, but instead had to walk down to the front desk because our phone was broke. The room size was average but the bathroom was very small. We didn't use the pool but based on looks, it was the best feature of the hotel, it was huge, the water was crystal clear and well maintained. We will never stay at this hotel again.

We did not like anything about it. Uncomfortable bed, broken lock, noisy, room temperature, broken coffee maker, and no luggage rack. I would never stay there again. It was next to the freeway, so very noisy. When we walked in the room it was cold; the heat was completely turned off. When we left the following day, we came back to find that the maid had again turned the heat off! We noticed the chain lock on the door was broken! The beds were tiny and very uncomfortable! The only place to find ice and vending machines was in the lobby regardless of proximity. The coffee maker was broken as well.

Solid free WiFi connection! I look for 2 things when I travel. Free WiFi and free breakfast. While the internet connection was amazingly strong, the continental breakfast leaved something to be desired. I would recommend they cater a dozen doughnuts in every morning. No refrigerator in the room but asked the desk and one was shipped up to the room to chill my libations. Powerful ice machines on every floor keep everything cold. Yes it is close to I-80 and could be loud but ask for a room on the south side of the hotel and you'll sleep like a baby. Elevator access is nice and would stay again if business takes me close.

TV channels. People noise. Okay for Reno, still too little for price.

The walls were dirty (from unknown stains), the beds were hard, like sleeping on the wooden box, which gave me neck pain and back pain. I just did not feel comfortable or clean at Day's Inn. Knowing the possibility of not being reimburse, I had no other choice but to stay at Day's Inn for the second night which was pre-registered before going on this trip. I will ""NEVER"" stay at Day's Inn ever again.

I liked absolutely nothing about this filthy hotel. Filthy, fire hazards, hwy traffic right there; not pet friendly; beds are hard. Dirty. Dirty. The hotel is very dirty; it felt like I was in the late 70's, in a bad drug movie. The pictures on the internet are not accurate, and while there are comments about being "pet friendly"; the truth is that they charge $10 extra for your pets, per night. That in itself isn't such a bad thing, except that everyone else tells you upfront they charge, this one appears to be at no charge. And heaven forbid you visit in the winter, because the "pet area" is clear across the parking lot, on the exact opposite side of the forever busy highway, that if you pretend it's the ocean, you might be able to fall asleep.

I arrived in Reno to find my mother at the ICU. After taking care of business there, I started calling around to find a couple nights stay before I drove three hours back home. Calling around, I tought I found a good deal, but after checking out my bill was twice as much than what was agreed over the phone. We asked for a non-smoking room, but with smoking rooms around us, and underneath us, we hardly slept at all. Do not stay here.

Large parking area. Very small rooms. Ok for the price.

"I was here during the Thanksgiving holiday when most other quality hotel rooms were sold out. My room was clean, everything worked, and staff was friendly. I would stay again."

The place is dirty and needs a lot of cleaning. The place is dirty and needs a lot of cleaning. The place is dirty and needs a lot of cleaning and no food facilities what so ever. They say they have internet but that¿s a lie. Fake hotel.

"I was there for two nights during thanksgiving weekend, and had a nice stay. The rooms are large and clean, and everything worked fine. No coffee in room, but good continental breakfast in lobby. I plan to stay again."

The location was okay. The staff was so rude and unfriendly incredible! The staff at the check-in was the rudest and unfriendliest I have seen so far! I don't expect much of a 1 star hotel. The room was 1 star and the cleanliness was okay-poor but friendliness doesn't cost anything and that is athing they really have to learn at the Days Inn in Reno.

Desk clerk changed us to quiet side of hotel without hassle. Shower water never got above lukewarm. Hotel located right next to busy freeway making it easy on and off, but noisy. Desk clerk stated that reserving online at low price got us the rooms on the noisy freeway side. She did find us a room on the quieter side which was appreciated. This is an older hotel in a semi-rundown section of town. Shower hot water was non-existent (never got above lukewarm) only excuses about shower, no apology or action. Lack of casinos on site may qualify it as "family friendly", but location and neighborhood negate that factor.

They had a lot of towels and were close to the freeway. They did not have hot water, working internet or an alarm clock. While the location was convenient, we could hear everything and everyone that went past our room which kept us up most of the night. There was no hot water, the internet only worked sporadically and they did not have an alarm clock. We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel at all, nor would we recommend it to others.

Nothing. The hotel staff clearly discriminated. This hotel clearly discriminated. When asked to change the room away from noisy freeway, the staff answered, 'had you booked directly with us, it would have been easier. I do not think I will be staying again at that hotel.

The location was excellent, easy off and on from the freeway. The continental breakfast wasn't available long enough. Excellent stay for the price. The room was clean and comfortable and very family friendly. The young lady on staff at check in was friendly, courteous and helpful. Check out was a snap. I would stay here again.
