A little leary of the people seen walking about in the neighborhood on arrival, however never had any problem with same. The office staff was very courteous and friendly. The hotel itself has seen better days but although the rooms were showing their age they were clean without any strange smells or insect residents. As I am a rather large fellow I had no compunction about walking across the street to the fast food places and was rather glad I did. It may look a little rough due to the street people but the area itself is perfectly safe. There is a large variety of food available all within one block negating the need to navigate Washington, DC area traffic. Don't plan on using the breakfast bar to start your day as it was limited to two cereals and a few danish and bagels. I would recommend this facility for anyone needing to stay in the DC area overnight at a reasonable rate.

Hotel staff was available. Dirty, scary, felt unsafe, not for children. Dirty, grungy, bathroom was a mess, lettuce on the floor, not a place to stay at with children.

Only there for one night. very good location. stores all around you in walking distance .public transportation at the hotel. two or three blocks from the freeway. minutes from downtown. service was very good. rooms were clean. beds comfortable. respectable good people staying at the hotel. overall well worth it....except one downfall ...the walls seem to be paper thin.we heard people talking next door. people walking up stairs and people outside all night. I had broken up sleep through out the night never really sleeping more than 3 hours at a time. other than that... for the price this was a very good hotel ....would definitely stay again.

The main thing going for this hotel is its proximity to Regan Airport. OK for one night, but the property is old and run down.

Convenient. Older hotel in older commercial neighborhood.

The houskeeping staff did not speak English. I had to ask for towels and a light bulb for the room using sign language. I know this was not a five star hotel, but I did expect the basic necessities. The food was either Thai or Chinese or McDonald's. Thank God I had a Garmin GPS.

I stood at this hotel for a night (thank goodness) and I felt so unsafe! The bathroom was really cold and the tub was flithy. There was a broken window. The doorlock wasn't working right. The outside looks great but the rooms are terrible.

staff was very friendly but the rooms were outdated needed updating the bed had a razor cut in the matress ceiling had holes in it, there was not much hot water and there was another occupant in the next room banging furniture around most of the night. the continatial breakfast was not bad average.

Nothing. Everything from the smell to the leaking pipes to the staff. This hotel is the worst place I've ever stayed. The pipes leaked and my nonsmoking room smelled heavily of cigarettes and mold. The staff was not only unfriendly but rude as well. The room was a different arrangement than I asked for and the hotel did nothing to fix it.

The hotel was chosen because it was the least expensive national-chain facility anywhere in the DC area. The location was OK; we had to take a 15-minute bus ride to get to the subway (Metro), but they ran regularly. The bed, table, chairs, etc. were comfortable. The room and bathroom showed their age and had a few blemishes like TV cable stapled down the wall and sloppy caulking job in the bathroom. The toilet ran and the shower water had sudden cold and hot streaks. Hidden behind the curtains on both sides of the main window were two unused windows that had been boarded up with plywood nailed on outside that we could see in the windows. The TV was old and dim, but there were about 100 channels available. We saw and killed one small cockroach that had crawled into one of our bags. The elevator was dangerous! The door closed hard and fast, and there was no interrupt device that would prevent someone being caught in it. Scary! There was a Thai restaurant and bar on the premises that looked interesting, but like the rest of Virginia restaurants, it was full of tobacco smoke and certainly unhealthy. There was a pizza place across the street, but we left because it was also smoky. Until Virginia passes some sensible smoke-free workplace laws, I will not go back to that state. We ended up getting take-out at McD, Subway and a Turkish place that had excellent food.

Location near several inexpensive restaurants. This hotel was suitable for an economy inn. Cleanliness, maid service and helpfulness of manager were all very good. Beds were uncomfortably hard and someone had used a staple gun to keep wallpaper from peeling up in the bathroom. Ethernet internet access caused my laptop to crash every minute or so.

The hotel was expensive for it's condition. It was clean but looked awfully run down.

The location was perfect. The room had some mold in it and wallpaper was falling off. The hotel was overall okay. The lobby was decent. We were unable to find the exercise room. The breakfast had a little selection and the area had crumbs all over. The overall cleanliness wasn't the best but the service and location were great!

The Days Inn is quite close to the Pentagon, on a bus line and there are lots of interesting restaurants in the neighborhood. For the money, I thought it was a good choice. Breakfast was inedible, but there is a Dunkin Donuts next door.

Clean, friendly and professional service. A bit worn down, location wasnot central. Room was clean and spacious. Front desk service friendly and professional. Breakfast alright. Location not good for tourist purposes, but alright if you have your own car.

the days inn is a good cost-value hotel to stay and not very far from the airport in DC.

The staff was friendly and almost caring. The facilities were not well maintained, looking like it would fall apart soon with old sheets and paint. The breakfast was all sugar, bad. Depressing. I was very disappointed. The rooms were old looking and depressing, like they hadn't been repainted or redecorated for a long time. Bathroom was cheap looking and the bed sheets looked really old, almost falling apart. There was no hot water in the morning and the complimentary breakfast was a joke; just sugar, no nutrition. It is only convenient if you drive there, without a car it is too complicated to get into the city.

My husband was very dissatified with the quality of this hotel. It was very convenient to Arlingotn National Cemetary and other Dc sites.

The manager was friendly. Not clean and definitely needs renovation.
