Date of Stay:
July, 2009
needed to delay our stay by a day because of illness...helped us out with no extra charges...thanks.
Date of Stay:
May, 2009
Early check-in, allowed to check out late. Didn't tell me to sign late-check out paper and deactivated my room key with my luggage still inside room. Staff was stoic. I returned from my excursion only to find my room key deactivated with my luggage still inside. The receptionist re-activated it as soon as I signed for the extra hours for late check-out, but I felt untrusted and violated by being locked out of my room with my belongings inside. Room was dirty on vanity, free internet but worn-down room.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Very friendly and helpful staff. Quick check-in, check out and excellent complimentary continental breakfast.
Date of Stay:
March, 2008
The room was shabby and needed a good cleaning. The walls were stained and paint was pealeing in the bathroom. This has been a nice place at one time but has had poor upkeep. The beds were clean. The pool area was nice, but there appeared to be stuff floating on the water. The hot tub was out of order but it was half full of scummy looking water.

Hotel seen old, but room has been re-modeled. It is close to downtown and shopping areas
Date of Stay:
March, 2009
Close to restaurants and easy location.
Date of Stay:
March, 2007
The pool water was to cold for an indoor pool. The heating was not working and the toilet did'nt work right. The drawers were not cleaned out and the bathroom ceiling leaked above the tub. The hottube was nice and warm and I liked the poolside rooms. The dining area was very chilly at breakfast and they really need to do something about the power source in the dinning room so it dosen't keep tripping every time someone uses more then one appliance.
Date of Stay:
June, 2009
Too dark in the area of the rooms to walk at night. A lot of people hanging around and making a lot of noise. Very difficult to sleep.
Date of Stay:
September, 2008
The pool was awesome! The room needed a little work . . . some updates. The place was fine. The continental breakfast was okay. The room was decent, but the bathroom door was broken. We didn't like the French-door-size window in the room. The pool was huge, though. That was my husband's favorite part!
Date of Stay:

I brought my family for a weekend at Lagoon, kind of far from Ogden but the closest I could stay
Date of Stay:
May, 2009
We stayed there for the Ogden Marathon and the hotel did very well in making accommodations for marathon runners such as moving there breakfast hours two hours earlier.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
The staff accommodated me to stay an extra day. Need iron and iron board in the room. Great for students who are on a budget. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will use them again for couple more trips.
Date of Stay:
August, 2006
The bathroom was very unsafe, the toilet seat was broken, the tub was very slippery, water was leaking all over the bathroom, and the door did not close properly. The room was mostly clean, aside from the chewing gum next to the bed. The desk help was rude!!!!! They did not care that the bathroom had 1/2 inch of water on the floor, and on the second day changed the lock so our card key did not work. It would not have been to bad had they been willing to work with us at all, but they were VERY rude.

Check in was a pleasant experience with the night guy, but the room was small, old, and too centrally located to every party room. Pay the extra money and stay at a decent hotel/motel. The [...]guy in the morning was pretty rude and uninterested about moving the room to a place a bit more quiet. Carpets were gross and really enjoyed the cigarette burns in the blanket. The shower spray was designed for little kids rather than adults and there was an overall lack of amenities in the room. The ONLY good thing was that there was Food TV available on TV. SKIP THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!

The indoor pool area and hot tub was in a beautiful setting that we relaxed in the evening. I left some clothing in a drawer and called the next day and they don't have them. The continental breakfast was very good.
Date of Stay:

A low budget hotel: you get what you pay for. The rooms are old with just the basics. The service is also on par with a budget hotel. The indoor pool is neat--the kids would enjoy that. But the location isn't great (Ogden in general isn't a great town, stay in Layton or just outside if you can)
Date of Stay:

Days Inn at Ogden made this area convinient for students who are on a tight budget. I had no problems with the staff and I had stayed in this place before and will be staying again for the next couple of times I come to Ogden.
Date of Stay:
March, 2008
Price/location. Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was ok. Pool and hot tub was good.
Date of Stay:
February, 2008
The hotel was much older than I expected. We only stayed one night, so it was ok. The furniture was extremely old and not comfortable to sit in. The bd sagged. The carpet was extremely ol and coming up. The bathroom door was comng apart. Honestly we weren't there for the luxury (thank goodness and the people were nice.
Date of Stay:
March, 2008
They provided a shower next door! Not much, bath was not working, ceiling leaked, etc. It wasn't a good hotel.
