The ocean view and hot tub were great. Locating this hotel was a challenge with the road work. We were greeted warmly. The ocean view was wonderful. Unfortunately, the only thing it lacks was the closeness of dining establishments (the only thing close was Burger King).

The young man at the front desk was very helpful, even printed direction from Map Quest for us. The housekeeping staff was great, very friendly. Room was large, clean and neat, couldn't have picked a better place.

Rooms have been redone with excellent results including furniture and lamps, all of which work, so many time hotels do not change the bulbs. Much of the staff has been employed for years which is alway a good sign. Beach access has been upgraded including shower area. Management is very attentive to the needs of customers. Thank you, Pat

I really enjoyed the large ocean front room. It had a microwave, fridge and a small sofa. However, the weather was really bad while I was there. We had over 16" of rain. Needless to say, my floor in front of the balcony got wet but the staff did their best to clean it up! The hallways and elevator didn't smell to good when I first got there but got better as the week went on. The front desk staff was great!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in July, and we were really pleased. The location is pretty good, though there really isn't much around it in the way of restaurants or activities. Crabby Joe's is a restaurant on the pier that is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, and well worth the trip (you can walk on the road or the beach to get there). The staff was very friendly, and accommodating of a few requests we had. The rooms were clean, albeit a little bit on the musty side, but the humidity was high at the time and this is pretty typical for Florida. We stayed on the upper floors, which we think would be better than being on the lower floors. There are a lot of families here and it does get a bit noisy, so I don't think I would pick this place as a "romantic" destination. So, if you don't mind being away from all the activity that is Daytona, and are just looking for a relatively inexpensive and quiet location, then this is a good choice.

Nice little hotel, great view of the ocean, excellent rooms for the money. You may have to wait for the elevator, but then, whats the hurry? There were 4 adults in our little group, and we are all homesick, thinking of ways to get back there.

Right on the water, convenient. The bed had a plastic wrapping on it that "crushed" every time you moved. It will be difficult to get good nights sleep because of the bed noise and also the sliding glass doors apparently are very popular to open and close because that's what we heard all night long.

My husband and I have been going to this hotel every year for 10 years, we love it.We see the same staff, year after year, this is a good sign, in any business.The rooms are large and comfortable, kept very clean.The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, the household staff, are friendly and do their jobs well.

WI-FI connection in the room and its location. Used wash cloth in shower trashy. The hotel was ok. There was a dirty wash cloth in the shower which was kinda nasty. The beds were really uncomfortable. The locating of the hotel is nice.

My husband and I were very happy with this hotel. The first night they had us down on the first floor, which is pool level. The room was musty and on the older side. I felt like I was in the basement. I asked the desk if we could switch rooms onto a higher level and the next day we were moved to the sixth floor. Much better room! The room was cleaner, brighter and didn't smell musty. The view was amazing! Nice quiet beach away from the hustle of Daytona night life, but still able to walk or drive to all the action if you want. We would definately stay there again.

The staff is not very friendly but you get what you pay for. It was clean and quiet with an ocean VIEW. No problems while we were there.

Very friendly staff, fantastic location, and covered parking. Pay-per-view movies would have been nice. I'm not usually a fan of day's inn, but I was very pleased with this particular hotel. Great location w/ very friendly staff. There are numerous fun things to do near the hotel. Overall, a great experience.

very close to race track, employees very nice rooms were clean I would'nt mind stayong there again
