In my "non-smoking" room, the stench of cigarette smoke has deeply permeated every fiber of the room. Even worse, the chemicals they tried to cover up the stench was suffocating. The cloth covered chair was covered in unidentifiable stains with one large head shaped grease stain on back.

Very competent friendly receptionist. Location. Convenient but not desirable. Clean and comfortable room. Very basic in every way. Not a desirable location for a single senior.

Cheap and clean hotel. Kinda shabby interior, but what do you expect for price. The front desk clerk was very friendly. Hotel is right off the highway with a convenience store next door. Not other eateries, etc that we could see, but then again we arrived late at night. The TV was a LARGE flat screen. My husband loved it! Would stay there again.

This hotel was worth the money. The only problem we had was a group of guests who decided to have a party outside their hotel room. The lady at the front desk said since they were older folks they shouldn't be too loud and they would be asked to leave if they did get loud. Well -- the lady at the desk should have stayed in our room. The people were out there until 1:30 in the morning laughing and carrying on. I complained about it at the front desk the next morning and the lady gave us 10% off our room. That didn't pay for the sleep we all missed. They should really pay attention to what's going on outside their hotel. Other than that, the hotel was very nice and they shouldn't let people like that ruin their hotel.

Excellent hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We would have no concerns about staying here again. We were only on a one night stopover on our way south but it met our needs. We enjoyed the light continental breakfast. Great value!

Front desk clerk was nice. Location & amenities were very poor. I would not stay at this hotel again, the entrance was hard to get & out of due to traffic location, it was on the shady outskirts of Winston-Salem, the doors were very hard to get open, the room was not as clean as I had expected, quite musty, and not what I expected with a "Days Inn" name.

The property was clean, front desk check in was slow, the check in lady was polite and nice enough to us in rooms away from the rest of the renters. The location was marginal and hotel seemed to cater to construction workers, transients and cash payers (people with out credit cards).

It was quiet and the room was very large and open. I felt a little uncomfortable in the particular area at first. It ended up being fine. I was only staying one night so it was fine but anymore than that and I would have wanted something a little more upscale.

The hotel was very easy to find and convenient. The bed was too hard. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took care of the room as needed to be.

Cheap and convenient. It smelled like mold and smoke. Easy to find but, not so squeaky clean. They are going through some renovations.

The rooms were clean. Our room was not ready at check-in time and we had to wait over an hour to get our room. Our room was not ready at check in time we were there 1/2 hour past check-in 1:30pm. They did not tell us this and they gave us our key like it was ready. We carried all of our stuff to the room with 2 small children and the door was open and the beds were stripped. When I went down to speak with the office they advised me that I would have to wait that they were booked and they did not have a room ready. Why I was not told this when I was given my keys is beyond me. I asked if they had any rooms ready and she said that it was not her fault that I had to have a non smoking room. She was very rude and put out that I would like my room by this time it was 2:00 and she said that she will have someone come and clean our room that we can put our stuff in the room and wait in the lobby. My family and I decided that we would not like our stuff in the room when we were not with it this hotel is in a horrible part of town and the employees did not look trustworthy. We ended up leaving and getting something to eat. When we came back our room was ready but I would not return to that hotel due to rude employees and being in a bad location.

The room smelled awful. I guess you pay for what you get!

The employees at the hotel made me feel right at home. The surrounding stores closed to early. Overall I was very pleased with my stay. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable.

Newly remodeled rooms very clean. No ice, Dogs barking early in the morning. Initial thought when pulling into parking lot was oh no! several AAU basketball teams were staying there, we were put on other side of motel and was not disturbed by them at all, if only I could say the same for the people below us and their dogs. I have to admit the motel did live up to my expectations (I am picky) very clean and newly remodeled, good TV. No Parking in rear of motel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The accommodated our needs and even provided an iron for our wrinkled clothes. The hotel had limited parking. I had my first visit in Winston Salem, NC and had a wonderful time. The hotel provided a sense of warm Southern Hospitality unlike any other place I have been. I will certainly visit again as soon as I can.
