Staff was friendy and the hotel was clean. It looks as though it was remodeled. Unfortunately, it rained so we did not get to use the pool. The only downside was that it was in a somewhat isolated location.

Easy to get to, room was adequate. Room was ugly, pillows lumpy, bare bones kind of place, smoking stench in room.

Economical, clean hotel near main routes to Hershey Park. Enjoyed the late checkout time (noon). Make sure you get to the free breakfast before the crowds arrive. Would stay at this location again.

we were in hershey for concerts, and wanted to find a hotel for the weekend, and we are so happy we chose the days inn!..the room was very comfortable, the staff was very helpful, pointing out the best way to get to the park, beating all the highway traffic!..although we didn't get to swim, the pool looked very nice! and the free breakfast was great!..make you own waffles, bagels, cereals, doughnuts...{a bit heavy on the carbs, but we were saved with some hard boiled eggs!} a very good way to start a day walking around the park for sure! it's right off the highway, but down in a valley so we weren't in sight or sound of it at all!

My husband and I were attending the Parelli Natural Horsemanship conference at the Farm Expo in Harrisburg, PA. The hotel was very close and easy to get to and from our venue. We were able to change our room to the quieter back of the hotel with no issues and it was very lovely. The hotel backs onto trees and birds, rather than concrete. Great to wake up to nature in the city. The breakfast saved us time and money and we enjoyed the choices. There were lots of horse folks there and it was great to be able to recognize other people from your hotel at the conference. All in all, a terrific time and great location. Great service and assistance from the staff. Room very very clean.

Room was clean and spacious. Good location off the highway. The breakfast was messy and not appetizing. More a motel setting. It was more than 20 minutes from Hershey. The area the motel was in was very difficult to find places to eat. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast (though included) was not appealing to any of us. Did not visit the pool but many families were enjoying it when we got there. They allowed for a late check in (10:00 PM) and were quick to check us out.

The air conditioning system did not adequately rid the room of humidity; therefore, the room always felt damp and uncomfortable.

The staff treated us like we had been friends of theirs for years so pleasant and helpful on directions to local resturants and other needs during our brief stay. I would definely stay their again if I happen to go near their again.

Right off the highway. Surrounding neighborhood felt unsafe. The continental breakfast that was included was very hectic. The dining area was too small to handle the large crowd and the one worker couldn't keep up with restocking the food/plates/coffee.

This would not be a ""destination"" hotel for me at all, but for a clean, well-maintained, basic place to stay while en route somewhere, it fits the bill just fine. Very handy to Route 81 in a safe location and surroundings, it has outside entries (vs inside hallways), and our room had a nice shower stall (no tub). No problems, just a good, basic place to make a stop along the way.

I found the hotel a good place to spend the night while travelling. The room was clean and comfortable although they were having TV issues. After a long day of travel, it was good palce to get some rest and it was easy to get back on interstate.

Good location and value for the money. Motel was nicely maintained and quiet. I was on the back side of the bu ilding. Getting there is a little tricky the first time because of the one-way streets.

Don't even consider this for your stay in this area; there has to be something better than this. The first room we entered smelled like feces; the second was filthy.

Centrally located in PA to many locations we visited. It was the week after labor day & they closed the pool. Quiet, clean. Pool closed after labor day but we had beautiful, hot weather to swim.

The Days Inn Harrisburg North is a great place to stay. My family arrived late, after the office had closed. My 2 night reservation was waiting for me when I got there. The room was very clean and roomy and the beds were very comfortable. The motel staff were very friendly and polite. The first morning we went to the outdoor pool which was clean and well maintained with 2 lifeguards on duty. I went to the front desk for information on area restaurants and activities and was given a pre-printed list with detailed directions to find what I needed. We left for the day and our room had been cleaned and replenished by the housekeeping staff. The ice and vending machines were in several convenient locations. The next morning we went down to the continental breakfast room where we made our own Belgian waffles. There was a good variety of breakfast foods available with plenty to drink. At check out the staff was friendly and courtious. I chose this motel because I had stayed there before and was very satisfied.

Close to Hershey park. The rooms literally stank and had mildew in bathrooms common walks not swept. The hotel had nothing that I expected for the price. The previous room occupant had rated the room the same because the card was never removed from the room. Coffee maker was present but not coffee cups. If you wanted internet access you had to have wireless or try to use the lobby before 21:00 hrs. Overall the common areas lacked maintaining the way one would expect such as daily sweeping of sidewalk areas around the rooms. One would also expect to have the family group in adjoining rooms not spread across a level on the second floor.

The hotel was difficult to find if you did not come up I81, and when I called the the hotel from my cell phone from Highway 15 (a major 4 lane highway) the staff who answered said that she did not know where highway 15 was. Oddly enough when we found the hotel and asked about where to go for dinner (the lobby closes at 8:00pm which also isn't great for those on long road trips) the map we were given had highway 15 marked on it quite boldly! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the in fact the mattress reminded me of the one I have on my bed at home - quite a bonus after a long day on the road. It was also very easy to get into Hershey the next day to see the sites there. The pool and fitness room looked very nice and well kept but we were not there long enough to enjoy them. We would stay there again. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with lots of high carb options - the kids loved it. Located right next to a residential area so it was quiet but really close to I81 for easy access once you found your way intially.

Generally a very nice hotel. Not much to do in the area it was in. My girlfriend and I quite enjoyed our stay in that hotel.
