The hotel is very close to the beach - there are two parks only 5-10 minutes drive. You do not even need to go the crowded downtown beach. Staff was very nice and welcoming and let us check in earlier that usual. Although rooms seem to be outdated, everything was neat and ok quality for the price we paid. Complimentary breakfast was ok to get a quick bite.

Fast, hassle free check in, reliableWIFI service. Room was very hot upon arrival, air conditioner was very loud.

Checked out after first night, was suppose to stay 4. Loud and noisy and people banging on your door late at night is annoying. Will never do business with a Day's Inn again!

great deal thank you.

Room was clean and spacious. Had to be moved to another room due to electronic keys not working and room was on the back side of the building.

The bed was very hard...could feel the springs or inner workings of the matress , Found myself waking up numerous times during the night in pain. Turning over or flipping from head to toe or cross wise the bed was to no avail...painful at every point. The room itself was nice...the little extras were very nice ...didn't use the safe in the room but had to pay for it...that was not an expence I was expecting...The clerks and cleaning personel were courtious and friendly. That was a plus.My only distain is the bed...unfortunately that put a damper on everything else...little sleep after a busy day was not good.

We have stayed here several times and have had a good experience each time. Great location, friendly staff, decent-sized rooms. We will recommend this to friends and family visiting Norfolk.

Good quality for a cheap price! Small, two storey motel. Small pool. I would stay here again if I was passing through Virginia. It was a great quality hotel for the price that I paid.

Never, ever stay here, no matter how cheap it looks. The rooms are filthy (there was BLOOD in our shower), the non-smoking rooms reak of smoke, the staff is throughly unhelpful (they refused to rectify the filth in our room) and the place is noisy. It was so bad that we had to leave and find another hotel that night. COMPLETELY HORRIFIC PLACE

Even though it was not right at the beach, this motelwas close enough (25 minute drive) and priced right.

The occupants next door, the room smelled old. First of all I like to say that the room smelled old. The occupants next door was fussing and fighting all night long.

This place looks like a boarding house for contractors and vagrants. Very noisy with young adults running around acting stupid at all hours of the night. The rooms are outdated and filthy. The bed was broken down and there were stains on the walls, hair in the bathroom. The The staff was extremely rude. The owner/manager was actually cursing at a guest one day while I was in the lobby. I had items taken from my room during my stay. They advertise " free wireless internet" but you can only get a good signal while sitting in the lobby. I can't believe that the Days Inn could allow this nasty hotel to carry their name. What has happened to the quality standards of todays hotels.

It was a nice placce except for the room service when we first arrived the room was clean, but there was hair in the tub and the toilet wasnt the cleanest. But the beds were nice and the rest of the room was good.

Not much. It wasn't convenient to where I had to par-take my business. This hotel is way out of the way from Downtown Norfolk, it was 30$ cab fare each way. If you need to do business in Downtown Norfolk then doesn't choose this hotel. There are a lot of people living in the rooms. Noisy even in the rear where I stayed.

This place was dirty, not secure and scary. Locks didn't work, no security features, very questionable clientele.

amazing prices, this place was very well worth the low price. rooms clean.

Near the water. The gym was closed for repair. Ok room, relatively clean, bed fairly comfortable. Very "bare bones" gym was broken, breakfast was so, and you couldn't pay to make a long distance call. Very friendly staff.

We stayed here for a week, and had two rooms. The maids NEVER vacuumed our rugs, and toward the middle were just putting clean towels on the table, THEN they'd just call to see if we needed service today. The desk clerk was more interested in his cell phone and soaps then HELPING customers. The continental breakfast was minimal to say the least. Our room keys kept getting changed, so that everyday when we got back, we had to walk down to the desk and have them reset them so we could get into our room. The garbage in the laundry room NEVER got changed the entire time we were there, so that garbage was overflowing onto the floor. Pizza boxes were piling pretty high. The area is questionable...people from neighboring houses used the laundry facilities, and raced through the parking lot at high speeds. At one point during the week, we had three cop cars come in to arrest some guy. It was a cheap hotel, so we didn't expect the Hilton, but we did expect courteous staff and a clean room. The BED though, was unbelievable. I have a hard time sleeping in hotels, but this bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! And maintanance was pretty awesome. My parents had a broken toilet seat which he changed within minutes, and we had a plugged toilet, which after waiting for 12 hours for the desk clerk to do something (and I had 3 kids in my room), my dad talked to him directly, he came right in with the plunger and took care of it. Took him 3 seconds to do what the desk clerk wouldn't do in 12 hours!! I will NEVER stay within 5 miles of this hotel again!

Although the room was comfortable, it was older and sort of shabby. The thing that bothered us the most was the look and feel of the surrounding neighborhood. However, we just hunkered down and kept the door locked at all times, and there were no problems. Although it was very convenient for the airport, I don't think I'd stay there again.

It's location. Bed had large rips and tears in it. It's ok if you just need a place to sleep.
