Hotel a bit impersonal, and a bit isolated, but impressive view

Clean and conveniently located close to stores and restaurants. Nothing. Very clean, the staff was very friendly and great location. I would definitely return.

We had a very good stay. The room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. The continental breakfast was not sumptuous but adequate. Although the Inn was full, it was very quiet. The desk staff were knowledgeable and very helpful.

Visiting cousins I hadn't seen in a long time. Upset with Orbitz as I was booked in a smoking room and had to pay $40+ to move to a non smoking room and I could have booked my whole trip myself and saved over $100.00, Pool was closed and I was planning on swimming in the evening.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Directions impossible to decipher without calling for help. Not upscale; small and sparce. Needs wireless internet. Nice staff. Good beds and pillows.

The first time I stayed with my wife and my 6 monthold baby in a room on the first floor. It was fine. Clean, small for 2 double beds. First floors in motels are rarely the best. The staff was pleasant. The restaurant at the foot of the motel (Little hill was fun and lively) This time I travelled alone. Stayed on the second floor. It was great, clean good bed, nice little breakfast . Nice view from the front. Pleasant staff.Totally worth it. We are all looking for an inexpensive well kept motel. That is one of them!

The purpose of my trip was to spend time with my son who was to be married two weeks later. We wanted to visit West Point Academey, play golf at the West Point Golf Course, do a tasting at a local winery and have a nice dinner. This hotel selection matched this itinerary perfectly. The hotel staff was very helpful in providing directions and suggestions; the room was delightful and the breakfast was more than adequate. It was a perfect choice for us.

Room was very large and carpet like new. Very clean. Continental breakfast minimal. Our cardkeys didn't work after 9 a.m. Nice location, perched on a hilltop overlooking a serene lake. Only about 15 minutes from West Point. Single bed room was spacious and extremely clean. The continental breakfast was somewhat sparse and the staff closed it down by 9:30 a.m. Also, my room keycard didn't work anymore after 9 a.m. though checkout was at noon.

The room was very small, but very clean. The hotel decor was rather dated, but it looked as if they might be doing some redecorating. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what we did have was very pleasant. The desk clerk upon check in and out was very friendly. This hotel was perfect for us since we were staying only one night.

Trying to get in, do business, and then get out between big winter storms made this stay potentially tense and problem ridden. It wasn't! The shuttle was prompt to and from the airport, the room was excellent and clean. The restaurant was a warm and friendly place with a large and varied menu. The food was very good and the bar comprehensive.

Hotel staff very helpful. Bed were harder than rocks and uncomfortable. The beds were terrible too hard and very old looking mattresses, staff was great, minimal continental breakfast. Lake view(across the street) was ok once you look past the parking lot filled with cars.

We stayed here on our way to NYC and chose this hotel because it was the only one of several comparable ones that offered a free shuttle from the airport. I even called to confirm the shuttle the day prior to our arrival (and mentioned that our plane would be landing at 9:57 p.m.). The lady who answered told me that they were only a short distance away so we should call once we'd claimed our luggage and they'd send the shuttle. Well, when we called them at 10:15, they said the shuttle quits running at 10 p.m. and that we'd have to take a cab! It then took the cab more than an HOUR to get there, so, rather than arriving at our hotel by 10:30 as we'd expected, we didn't arrive until 11:45, plus we were out cab fare! The shuttle hours should be posted on their website and they certainly should have informed me of this when I called the day before!!! (All of that said, the hotel itself is clean and comfortable and has a lovely view. IF they extend their shuttle hours, we would stay here again on our way to/from Stewart Airport.)

The Days Inn had very comfortable rooms and everything was in working order. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. Any questions I had about the area or anything else were answered promptly and they even went that extra step. There is wireless internet service in the room which worked fine, and there is a desk and TV stand. The bath is not overly huge, but it is comfortable and there is sufficient room for sitting your toiletries. There are no recreation facilities at this Days Inn, and for our needs that is fine. If you want a clean, nice place to stay within about a half hour ride of West Point, I recommend this Days Inn. The hotel has no eating facilities however they have arrangements for a discount at Johnny D's which is a very nice 24 hour diner right below the hotel within walking distance. The diner is modern and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. This isn't the greasy spoon type diner.

It was close to the route and destination that I wanted. Carpets in rooms needed an intensive shampoo. This hotel was a good value and convenient to the main routes that I used.

We needed a quick one night stop over and I chose it for location and price. The room (One queen size bed) was small but clean. The shower was the best I've had at a motel in years! I did not see the larger rooms so I can't comment on the size for a family. The staff was helpful ( we needed an early morning wakeup call) The is a beautiful view of a lake from the entrance. While there is no restaurant on premises, right below it on the hill is a full service diner which you can walk a few hundred feet to.

Convenient location near shopping center. Pool water quality was suspect and not heated. Convenient location for an overnight stay or two for business travelers.

Staff friendly. Near restaurants. No restaurant in hotel. Breakfast okay. Far from West Point. Rooms were clean. Allowed us to check in early and stay an extra hour. Staff was friendly. Not as convenient to West Point in terms of driving.

This was a VERY average hotel. but was priced quite high for the quality of the experience. This should have been a $* a night motel certainly NOT $*/night. Not a good value for the quality!
