It was in a convenient location and the room was always clean when we came back. The beds were too hard. The hotel was a nice place for what we needed, we left everyday and came back at night, so we didn't really see much of the place. I did have a nice breakfasts every morning that you could enjoy before leaving.

We found this Days Inn to be convenient and a good place to stay for the price. We would definately stay again.

I don't know who, but someone screwed up the whole booking process. I had a confirmation email from Orbitz, but my reservation didn't show up in Days Inn's system! It was 10:30pm and I was so tired. One of the stuff wasn't helpful at all, he even said:"That's your problem, not mine." So I called Orbitz.com, and after 30 minutes on the phone, one of the manager was kind enough to refund me the full amount for booking another room that night. But I was so angry at the unhelpful front desk. Apparently, they DON'T CARE! And the bonus is, the breakfast the following morning was surrounded by flies. All being said, room was clean and nice given it was a 2-star hotel.

It was clean, comfortable, and served its purpose. This is not a place for romance or ambiance. If you are in town for a specific reason, like the caverns, its GREAT. This is the BEST place we ever stayed on our way to NC. It was clean, the people were great and the morning cereal and bagels were cereal and bagels. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean. No extras on site, but excellent for an economy traveler.

It was dirty, the towels were rags, the bedspread had holes in it and there was no light bulb in one of the fixtures. We had to kill bugs in the bathroom and bedroom and the room smelled.

Family staff are Indian - cordial and well-intending, but very difficult to communicate with.

The Days Inn at Market Place was not a great place. The staff was very disinterested in our comfort and in our business as general. The towels were the worst I have ever seen anywhere. We had to travel about 30 miles just to get ouw own at Walmart. Bring your own towels, please! The decor was awful and the maintenance of the room really requires a lot of TLC (broken handles, peeling walls, ripped things, stuck toilets, bad towels etc)I will never stay here again. For a few more dollars, I could have gotten a better deal. We didn't like it at all. We do not recommend it. There are lots of Bread and Breakfast places in the neighborhood that would be far better. I cannot say enough about the disgusting towels; wow! These people really are nasty.

It at nice location. This is a good hotel, on the highway, access to Luray caverns on 1/2 hr by car. Nice place. We had breakfast, was nice. Rooms were clean. Bed was good. Enjoyed the hotel stay.

Proximity to New Market Battlefield; complimentary breakfast. Broken ice machine. Hotel was affordable and convenient to New Market Battlefield and Rte. 81. Room was clean; staff was cordial. Critiques: Room was dark, with very poor lighting; therefore, functional only for sleeping and watching TV; business traveler should bring own light. Ice machine broken on second level, but first level machine worked properly.

It took pets. Room for 4 provided 2 towels. This hotel is worn and shows it. Bathroom fixtures needed a complete cleaning, not just a daily wipe down. Trash from former guest still in one of the waste cans. We will be returning to New Market shortly - and staying in Harrisonburg to avoid staying in this hotel again.

The hotel is very clean and well furnished, and quiet. The girl at the counter did not speak English very well, so it took a little longer to check in. Overall, this is an excellent hotel for people who don't want to spend a lot of money, but also don't want to sleep with roaches. The hotel was clean, a fairly new building, quiet, but easily accessible from the main interstate, and next to a small civil war battleground. It's about two hours away from Arlington and D.C., so it's a great place to sleep when visiting those big (and expensive) cities. They also provide a small and simple free breakfast, just enough to get you going in the morning. The big flat screen TVs in the rooms were a nice touch.

It was clean and nice. The breakfast was quick and good. They did not have vending machines.
