The hotel has what you need but it definitely needs a makeover. Walls were filthy and chipped, don't get me started on the bathroom. When you turn the bathroom light on, it would take a couple minutes to actually come on. The room smelled like urine and didn't look very safe. I knew it wasn't going to be pretty but I guess I still had some faith!

This Days Inn is a thousand times better than the Sarasota Airport Days Inn (different management). My room was clean and bright, had a microwave and refridgerator at no additional cost. Check in staff was excellent. You get a 20% discount coupon for the on site IHOP restaurant. Not in a scenic location but close to major street going to beaches and Outlet Malls.

The Days Inn was not comfortable at all. The first night that we got there ,the noise was unbelieveable. My mom and my self couldn't sleep all night. The second nite was alittle better.,but after that again with noise ,people standing right in front of your window ,leaving garbage in front of your room, Then I told front desk twice about the toliet was leaking ,they never even fixed it. We stayed 1 week,and never gave us clean sheets.This is the first time that I ever had a experince like that and I hope I don't have another.

Friendly staff. Could be updated. Hotel interior could be updated. Landscaping was nice as was the pool. Clean though!

let me list why you may have better choices: No Irons, but they did have those little tiny travel ironing boards...but, no irons. No plugs by the desk. Access to rooms is from outside. Even though I arrived just after 9:00 PM, the lobby was closed and I had to register through bullet-proof glass. And no irons.

Location was poor, could not sleep too much outside noise. The room was clean but old, the complete feel of the hotel is for a motel and not any place I would ever have stayed. The neighbors were very noisy and rude. I could not sleep and was awaken time and time again by loud noises just outside my room. The quality of the hotel was very poor. Not recommend at all.

In town to pick up a car, curteous staff had room ready, tho' arrival time was late. Unfortunately, a/c leaked water on carpet. Move to new room was handled efficiently.Roving security, nice room, nothing fancy, decent price. Would stay again if in town.

The person who checked us in gave us an upgraded room and was able to answer our questions about the local shopping. The room was clean and as expected. I would definetely stay there again.

Staff was nice. Room quality. In need of repairs. Changed rooms 3 times, one room was under water, and other had little AC and no lights at the vanity. The room we stayed in was an upgrade by the staff and it still had problems, i.e. toilet ran all night and clock was broken. The hotel was horrible but the staff was very nice.

Zero. Bad neighborhood, small room, lumpy mattress, shouting neighbors, puking neighbors, bullet-proof glass at reception. This is easily the worse place I have ever stayed, and we hotel a lot. It is enclosed in chain link fence that is "secured" at night. The room reeked so of disinfectant I was nearly sick. Our first room was smoked-out.

Nothing. Everything. It was so bad we couldn't stay there but had today. The furniture had rips and burns in the fabric. The carpet had holes and burn marks. Another coupled rented the room after us and had the same experience. They rented it to another couple who we ran into in the lobby the next morning when we came back to, and they said they thought it was not fit to stay in also. Complain again.

Convenient location. Price was right. Staff friendly. I asked for a non-smoking room but the room reeked. The staff quickly found a new room for me and was very solicitous. This is conveniently located on the main highway from Bradenton to Sarasota in a safe location, though not especially attractive (strip malls, etc) The staff was friendly, the place seemed well-maintained, and the area was quiet.

Location for my needs. The floor of our room was unusually dirty, and never really got clean during our 7 day stay. Nothing special but adequate.
