Don't waste your time! We stayed there last year while visiting the lake, we didn't make the same mistake this year. Same ownership, same mid east attitude. The franchise owner seems very accomodating when you register, that all ends. They DID NOT replenish the room or tidy it up during our (5) day stay! I asked him why there were no clean towels and the room wasn't cleaned and his reply was, "you got the multiple day package, which does not include room cleaning or clean towels"! Wow, I wish that they explained that before I booked. The passkey failed to work on day two, he was very irritated that he had to issue another key card. I've never dealt with such an arrogant individual! I will never stay in another Days Inn, again! Very poor representation of this hotel chain.

Cleanliness, quiet. Thursday and Friday no parking available due to bar allowing underage for 2 nights. The hotel was nice, the customer service was friendly we did have to move to the hotel across the street because there was no parking available the last night there which was Thursday. The bar in the hotel allows underage on that night and Friday. They did transfer us to a sister hotel across the street The Executive Inn. Still a pain to move everything.

The very first question I asked the front desk upon checking in.....Does the Internet work? Yes, she replied. Guess what....it didnt work at all. The managment told me they were getting a better server in a few weeks. What was the first thing I asked about staying here? Does the internet work? They said it did. The night club attatched to the hotel would not let me in because I wasnt wearing a collar shirt. The oilfied clothes and cattle clothes were ok, but not my Dockers, Sketchers and Polo T-shirt. The room was just ok, with a dirty carpet and a huge plug that was running from the outlet to the outside for their on going construction. This huge cord was routed through the a/c unit.....allowing a huge gap of outside air and possible vermin to come and go. I did not see any vermin. The "free" breakfast was essentially cold scrambled eggs and undercooked sausage patties on a food warmer that was not turned on. This is a bacteria hazard if you know anything about food service. The managers and hotel staff were nice people with a really bad product. I will never go back. The club is essentially all the towns locals and whomever they say gets in. I am 48 years old, very well groomed and composed. They treated me like I had horns growing out of my forehead. I can promise you I will never consider staying here for another 50 years and will tell you the same. Spend the extra money and stay at one of the many competitors in the area.

This propety has had no upkeep for a long time. Carpet is old and raveling, door facings are falling off the wall, mold on the A/C unit that has visible spliced wiring, etc. Large roach in restroom. Bar area has gum spots all over the carpet. Just a mess. Not up to Days Inn standards.

Burn holes in blankets; gaps in door; outlet covers falling off; nasty. This hotel was not even a one star hotel; the room and property were nasty and dirty. Exit signs were missing, a stairwell banister was off the wall laying on the stairs with screws hanging out; ceiling tiles were stained or missing; the extra blankets were old and had several burn holes; the remolding looked like it was done by a three year old. Just terrible.

SAVE YOUR MONEY and DON'T STAY AT THIS MOTEL! It is by far one of the worst, most poorly maintained motels that my Wife and I have ever stayed at. Filthy, Paint peeling off the walls, chairs sittling on air conditioning cord (FIRE HAZARD)! DAYS INN SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THIS PLACE and TAKE THE FRANCHISE AWAY FROM THIS OWNER! The Star rating shows 2 stars, I would give it a QUARTER STAR and nothing more. ONCE AGAIN, SAVE YOUR MONEY. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER NEW AND MUCH BETTER MOTELS IN MOUNT PLEASANT, TX. STAY SOMEPLACE ELSE, NOT HERE!

This property is in a busy area with new construction that woke us up at 7am. The MOTEL has not had any updates in a very long time. Looks straight out of the 80's. The a/c worked fine but had this giant electrical cord that ran across the front and plugged halfway into the outlet. I was scared it would catch on fire........lol. The light over the vanity was out and when I called the front desk the clerk said she had some extra ones if I wanted to change it. I lhad to laugh but not hard enough to have to go and do #2 if you know what I mean. The bathroom had rust around the tub and shower had hair in it. The ceramic tile must have been spray painted over and it looked like it needed a touch up. The anti-slip strips were coming up off the bottom of the tub. The carpet had some bizarre spots...don't want to go there. They also had the only bar in town with people wandering around who did not stay there!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was very clean and the room had everything we needed. People in the bar were noisy until 2 AM. We are a gospel singing group and needed sleep. Overall the hotel was wonderful, the only complaint was that the people in the bar were very noisy and kept my sister in law, whose room was right beside the bar, up until about 2:00 AM. We are a southern gospel singing group and were singing at a local church the next morning, so rest was necessary.

Booked a smoking King & was put into a non smoking, then put into a queen smoking in which it took 3 trips back to the desk to get keys working. We had a dog so have to stay in a smoking room. We checked in about 5:00pm & they still had 10 rooms that were not cleaned which is why they could not hoor our king smoking. The toilet ran all night the tub dripped. we did not have a full towel set in the room. The whole hotel was dirty. It took about 1.5 hours to actually get into our room. THIS IS PROBALY THE WORST, DIRTIEST HOTAL WE HAVE EVER STAYED AT. When we checked out & received the receipt it had my name with a totaly differant address(rd,addcity &ST) with a differant $ cheaper rate. THIS IS DOWN RIGHT SCARY, YES I HAD OUR CORRECT ROOM # ON IT.

Clean, friendly staff good location. Remote didn't work. Low cool didn't work on a/c unit. Overall my stay was good. My TV remote did not work initially and the a/c did not work on low cool. However, the staff was friendly and helpful. A new remote was delivered to me by the maintenance person promptly with his apologies.
