I like the Days Inn Lake Norman hotel because it is right off of 27 and near many things. While on this vacation, we went to visit my twin sister (who lives like 5 mins away from this hotel). We drove over to Carowinds...which was about a 30-40 min drive. Great theme park with roller coasters and kiddie rides. We also enjoyed dinner at Lancasters....which is a fantasic restaurant for any Nascar lover! We checked out some of the race museums...and even drove 20-25 mins to play an amazing game of mini-golf! The only thing I would have to complain about the hotel is that the parking lot looks a little scummy. But other than that....they offer free breakfast...room rates are affordable...and is close to whatever you like.

There were no towels, hand towels, or wash cloths in the room. My husband went to the desk and asked for two towels and three wash cloths. He was told he could only have two washcloths. So bring your own if you stay at this hotel. How STUPID! It was not like I was asking for a bar of gold!

We enjoyed our stay for the short time we were in Charlotte NC. If we ever come back to the area we are sure to book a room.

THe process was very simple to check in and out. I really appreciated that because I was there for medical reason.

"I used internet service to book our room and was charged more than I would have been if I booked directly through the hotel. Service was okay at check in. Problem with people fighting and partying. When asked if I could speak to a manager, was told they would contact me in my room and never did. Room was supposed to be non-smoking, it smelled like smoke. Not ideal for families."

The Days Inn in Lake Norman/Mooresville, NC area was a great hotel. It was right off the exit and was close to many restaurants and race museums! Free continental breakfast of REAL bagels...not those rinky dink ones... muffins, cereal, hot chocolate, pastries, french toast, cinnamon rolls, and what not. It was delicious and convenient! Room was nice... we had a King size bed. Included mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, and all that good stuff. Was a pleasant stay and we would stay there again.

"Will not stay at this hotel again !!! Everything needs updated, From carpet to vanity to the driveway going into the hotel.. Got charge a dollar a day for the phone we never used..Not worth the money they ask for on a holiday weekend.. Breakfast : dried up donuts, waffles tasted like they were there for 2 days.."

"Towels like sandpaper. Room felt dirty. Blanket had cigarette holes (non-smoking room). Bed spread had stains. Requested change, replacements had holes and stains, but smelled clean.I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN - IT WAS DIRTY."

Location was convenient, price was right for one night stay. Desk chair was cheap and uncomfortable, carpet was dirty. Ok for truckers. Iron and ironing board had to be picked up at office( very telling of clientele) Parking lot was used for drag racing and drinking.

Things were not clean. No manager on duty, only a tired desk person. We were very disappointed in our stay. The motel was notrun down, but our room was definitely not cleaned.

Location. Continental Breakfast was great. Wished they had an indoor pool. The hotel was good. Rooms cleaned daily. Was very pleased to have a microwave and small fridge in the room. Loved the continental breakfast. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Nice continental breakfast One night I had no towels, the hotel ran out. The hotel needs up dating, but it also needs a good cleaning and front desk people in the evenings that know what is going on.

The office personell were pleasant. Dirty, walked to office three times to get coffee filter, staff walked in on me while taking a shower. Poor parking entrance. This hotel is horrible! There short & sweet!
