It was ok the pool could have been a lil cleaner, the staff could have been a little frinedler and the area should have been cleaned more.

Location was fairly good and Priceline price was excellent. Rooms were musty, not attractive and very limited amenities.

We stayed in this hotel while vacationing in 2003 and the manager had been so very helpful so we returned in 2009. We were disappointed in the rooms having such a strong cigarette smell. Since I have asthma that is a problem. The new manager was not like the one before. The first night we tried two rooms but they both had the smell but was told that was the only rooms available. The next day they switched us to a room that was much better for the next 2 nights. It is an older hotel but the price was right. Breakfast was fine but wish they had more fruit. Very close to the light rail system which was great to beat the traffic on the freeways.

This hotel was terrible. When I first checked in, I checked the sheets. There were stains all over them. I had room service change the sheets and the second set still had stains. The hot-tube was way over heated, the bathroom light didn't turn on nor would the door close. The T.V. was fuzzy and didn't work, the kitchenett was dirty. I would never stay there again. I suggest anybody considering this place, DON'T CONSIDER IT!! I demanded my money back and left after an 30 minutes of checking in. The kid at the front desk was rude, the rest of the staff were unfriendly, the room smelled and did I mention the pool was full of bugs, sand, and was very unkept. This hotel is not worth the money it markets for nor any money for that matter. Foul, horrid, vile, revolting, nauseating! I wonder how they keep the doors open. God knows cleaning isn't that cleaning isn't important or anything to this hotel or its staff.

The hotel is OK if you are looking for a place to sleep and shower. Looks like they are remodeling. Restaurants are a little out of the way.

Pool and jacuzzi looked nice. Room was clean, although older hotel.

Excellent room for the price. If expecting to use the stove, bring pots and pans, dishes, etc

The price was good for what we were looking for-a place to sleep and swim. The front desk staff were very nice, and my kids enjoyed the muffins, waffles and cereal for breakfast. The down side was the parking and remodeling in process. The bathroom had areas of tile missing and the sink had only hot water. The room itself was large and roomy.

Our room was facing the freeway. It is quite noisy and we required to change the room. However, I was told that all the rooms were checked in. I have no choices except change the hotel. And it was just 5 pm in the afternoon. Am I the last one to check in, who knows!!! There is no oven in the kitchen. Sink is really small in the bathroom.

The room was a good size and it was quiet. The staff was rude and inconsiderate. All the negative reviews, are true. The room was decent for the price. But I don't see the point of having a kitchenette if they don't provide any dishes. The staff is very rude and impersonal. They even checked us out 2 days early! Plus this place isn't close to anything, so be prepared to walk or catch a cab if you don't rent a car. I don't recommend this place at all.

Property needs a good designer to repaint the tacky look. Breakfast was below par.

This was a horrible hotel. pretty scary. The elevator was so old and not up to state law, we thought we would get stuck in it at one point. The staff was unfreindly and no help at all. They cleaned our room or did they? I really don't know how this place stays open??? It should be shut down. Never stay here you'll regret it , worst part of our vacation!!!

that 's ok for everyone if they want a place to stay at night. The price is resonable.

It was close to the Cox Arena. The bed was too hard. The room was clean and large but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We had paid for two nights but we didn't stay the second night as it was so bad.

Not only did they NOT honor our pre-booking of a suite that sleeps 5 with an extra room as they advertised and we called and confirmed they put us in a dirty and unfinished room and when we asked to speak to a manager were told on Saturday that he wouldn't be available to Monday. When I wrote the manager of San Diego Days Inn resorts even he didn't care and didn't take responsibility. This is how they treat visiting military families, educators and WWII veterans I couldn't leave fast enough. We looked for another resort the next day and canceled the rest of our stay. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone...ever.

The kitchen was in need of renovation, The beds were stiff, The air conditioning wouldn't come on and the shower head was 5ft tall (at best) and my husband had to crouch down to wash his hair. There was a car alarm that went off for hours and the hotel desk couldn't get a hold of the owner, and then from 3-4am there was lots of commotion going on nearby. The man at the desk was very friendly though.

Hotel management was nice but the room that we stayed in the bathroom was in terrible shape there was a crack on shower wall and the bath tub bottom was stained with black spots. I have stayed in better hotels for the same price.

Very clean and quick breakfast available. The pillows are way too small, about the size of a stamp.

For the price and location this place is really worth the stay. Other places of the same caliber did not offer free breakfast and have a kitchenette but were priced equally. The breakfast was pretty good with a variety of fresh fruit and pastries. They also have a waffle maker and the kids had fun eating that and taking some cereal for the road. At night the kitchen was great because especially when we had gone to Mexico during the day and were exhausted. My family had fun cooking and hanging out in the room. Since we knew that the room had a stove, microwave, and full sized fridge, we had come prepared. For a family of 7 this really helped to save costs on breakfast and dinner. Also the hotel is only miles away from all of our favorite places like old town, the mission, and the gas lamp district. Very convienient.

We would like to personally thank the staff of the Days Inn in Mission Valley for opening their doors to help those being evacuated from the recent San Diego fires in October 2007. They sent out an offer over the San Diego radios offering reduced rates and lifting their pet policy for those requiring a place to stay during these fires. The parking lot was packed, familys and dogs everywhere and everyone just staying relaxed, friendly and patient. To the people and businesses of San Diego (especially the Days Hotel) for coming together and conducting themselves like adults, thanx - nice job!!Kevin & Anna
