My brother and I were visiting Minot to attend our brother's funeral. We found the hotel convenient and clean....much welcome from some that we stayed in as we traveled there. We would recommend it to any traveler.

It was clean, but the room's window would not open and the beds were hard. Overall, my expectation not high.

We drove in from Canada and arrived at check-in time, only to be told it would be another hour. We came back (as did everyone else that was supposed to check in an hour previous) and it seemed everyone ahead had been booked something opposite to what they had planned. Once we got our rooms, the maids were still not done, so we 'camped' in the hallway until they finished. We stayed two nights and over the course of that time we had to have our keys reset 4 or 5 times - others staying close to us said the same for their rooms. The front desk told us this was the norm for safety reasons. I've never encountered that before and talk about a nuisance to have to walk to the front desk and wait for someone to appear to reset the cards. Also, despite staying in non-smoking rooms, the hallways on both floors reeked of cigarette smoke. I won't stay there again.

We reserved rooms online through daysinn.com and when we got to the hotel to check in, we didn't get the rooms that we reserved. I reserved business suites for more room and we ended up getting regular rooms. I went back to the front desk and asked about it and then gentleman said that a bunch of stuff got mixed around so we didn't get our business rooms. So then I asked if I was charged for regular rooms or business rooms. The guy told me we were charged for regular rooms and we got a discount, but when I looked at the reciept it showed that I payed the business suite price that was quoted to me online. So I asked about the pricing, online it says one thing and the people at the hotel told me a totally different price. I was told that the weekend rate is higher, way higher then what the internet quotes. So either they needed to change the website or straighten out the hotel rates. The people at the front desk was very polite about everything. I would NOT recommend that hotel to anyone, and I will never stay there again. I will stay farther away from my destination if I have to.

When we arrived there were people staying there from a wrestling tournament, with kids, lots and lots of kids. I geared up for a very restless sleep because of all the noise I forsaw. There was none. The front desk clerk came down our hallway at around 9:00 and there was silence from then on. FANTASTIC. The down side is the room was wayyy too hot for me, and the AC was not charged up enough to cool the room enough, so it continually ran for the night. The room was clean, staff was friendly so well done over all.

The location is excellent for shopping and restaurants. Attitude of staff - we are short staffed so you have to wait - same story 6 months ago. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone - need to upgrade front staff - otherwise the hotel is situated perfectly for shopping and leisure.

The check-in process can be lengthy, possibly due to the computer programme used. however the rooms can also vary in size from a king-size bed with not much room left over to a very pleasant sized double bed room. There are no wardrobes, and the racks are short so a long stay with clothes for a family would be a problem. Breakfast has fewer choices than many of similarly priced hotels/motels. The staff are courteous and helpful. All in all, a good value for the money.

The bed was actually comfortable. Room could have been updated-bathroom was pretty small. For a one night stay hotel ok-room and bathroom was pretty small-breakfast ok for a snack in the morning. The staff was ok but could be improved on.

The property was very clean, staff was at your call, quiet at night and breakfest was great. Would recommend to any style of stay in Minot,ND

The pool, location, cont breakfast. The attitude of the girl at the front desk. I had requested for bed and couch and she tried to put me in bed room only. The girl at the desk implied that it happens all the time that you do not get the room you ordered. We wanted the extra space with the couch and when we asked for, she got very snappy. She ended up finally giving us what we had asked for.

The hotel was quiet. The window & air conditioner area were not clean. The hotel was just fine, I do think it needs a bit of upgrading done, but we did like the price for the hotel.

Rooms were available. Could have been cleaner. I would stay again if I just wanted a a place to sleep for one night.

Location. $10 fee charged to change to 2 double beds. This was the only hotel that I have ever been charged the $10 fee. It was explained it was to make up the beds. I phoned weeks in advance so it was not a last minute work detail for the hotel.

Nothing. Very old, no restaurant, very bad breakfast. Do not stay here. You will regret it.

The room was warm and ready for my arrival. The room was small. I at 9 am the maid was knocking on doors to see if the occupants had checked out. All aspects of hotel - facility, staff, and breakfast - were average.

The location was great. The front desk clerk was not friendly in any capacity. Upon getting reservation I phoned the Days inn in Minot to request a non smoking room and a crib and was told by not one, but two employees that informed that they could not change anything. I understand that but to not allow a non smoking room or a crib is like telling a traveler you cannot partake in the continental breakfast or use the pool. For the inconvenience it was to have to call the days inn three times to get what I wanted and then not to be confident once we got there our request would be honored, I would not be interested in reserving a room there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Friendly staff. I was expecting two beds but we got one. Some one clock radio came on at ^600 am that was really annoying. It definitely is a one star hotel. It is clean and reasonably priced. If you are looking for romance or luxury, go someplace else.

The hotel was in a good location, had a nice pool, and had a great waffle maker. Our room entry cards were disengaged every morning, so we would have to go to front desk to have them reactivated every day. The hotel was priced accordingly to the amenities that it had. I would definitely stay there again, however, I would ask for a different room, as the one we had the door was jammed shut and it was very hard to open.

Everything was convenient. Staff was friendly. My window A/C was not working at 100%. May 80%. This Days Inn in Minot, is a nice place to stay. It is not easy to find if you do not know the area. Make sure you are familiar with a map of the area.

Good breakfast offering. Close proximity to restaurants, and stores. Can't think of anything. Exceeded expectations. Good amenities. Friendly staff.
