Location and facility looked good, restroom painfully small, brush your teeth and bendover to rinse and your outside the restroom. Like in most hotels you need flipflops or your socks turn black.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel to the time I left, I was extremely pleased by the service provided by the hotel staff, by the little details and by the cleanliness of the room. Extremely happy!

Older motor inn style hotel, but very well kept up and maintained. Although not critical I always appreciate mini-fridge/microwave in room. Great value for the money. This older motor inn is kept in great shape and the room was very comfortable.

On the plus side: very reasonable rates, green landscaping, not terribly far from downtown Vancouver, and generally helpful staff. On the minus side: no amenities, little to do in the neighbourhood, rooms below street level, small shower, and a long walk to the Skytrain station. I read some of the other reviews, and I guess the breakfast coupons have been upgraded (now $4 each at either McDonald's or the Tipper restaurant across the street). It's possible to get downtown in about 1/2 an hour hour taking public transit.

It's 3am, between the constant ticking of something in the wall, the paper thin walls letting me hear the hooker down a floor and over 2 rooms doing whatever it is she's doing down there, the growning of the floor at every step by me or the people above me take, and the constant fear of my rental car being broken into, I am being kept from getting any sleep tonight.I was supposed to be having a nice relaxing get away with my wife and have paid for and planned on staying here for 2 nights. I am checking out first thing in the morning and finding somewhere else to stay. This has been my WORST experience at any hotel EVER.Have not been impressed by the staff at the front desk either during check in, or with keeping an eye on whats going on at night.

All the caretakers were helpful. The room didnt have the required linen but we were provided with it on request. One of the towels was dirty and had to be replaced. The did a good job cleaning the room before we arrived but they could have done a better job.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and nice. I did not like the water tanks making noise all night. Outstanding service and quality rooms!

The "complimentary" breakfest that they advertise is nothing more then a $2 coupon for Mcdonalds. That won't even get you a hashbrown and coffee nevermind a whole breakfest. Staff at the front desk seemed to have not been surprised at all at the issue's I had with my stay. The "suite" that I had asked about upgrading to when I first checked into that were booked solid all week already suddenly became available at no extra charge when I had something to complain about.

The location is good. It's very easy to take a bus or skytrain to downtown and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is clean but a little bit small, especially the bathroom. Overall, it's a nice place if you're traveling with a tight budget.

Pretty straight forward checking-in process. Pretty much everything else. The rooms are dark and has not all that clean feel to it. Parking entrance is very tight and only smaller cars will fit through. Some of the rooms are towards the busy street, so you have constant traffic noise at night. The neighborhood doesn't feel all that safe or clean either.

We stayed there on our way to Whistler. It was value for money for sure. However, we drive, so the location was not an issue. As faras the breakfast in McDonald's, we did not mind at all. Each of us got a CDN 2 coupon for the breakfast. Comparing to other motels the offers nothig, we thought it was a nice gesture. The rooms are very clean and well kept. It was also quiet at night so we got good rest. The front desk staffs hardly smiled but they were efficient. Bathroom is on a small side and would definitely present a challenge if your are on the large side. Overall, it was money for value and I would go back again!

I was not happy at all because I complained to Days Inn Customer service and I never heard back. I had bed bug bites all over my body. I also let the receptionist know about it and all he could say was sorry.

Nothing to describe. Waterfkow in the sink in bath was choked. Poor.

The room is small and the breakfast is junk. The female manager doesn't seem to care or be helpful to customer at all, when I complaint about problem with the breakfast. Dont take this hotel into your consideration.

Very small room eventhough it was upgraded, unfriendly staff, horrible location. Not willing to help us. Will never stay again at any another Days Inn.

Nothing was outstanding about it. The location. Poor location, not located in a very nice area.

The hotel was very nice and pleasant. They had a beautiful courtyard and garden. The desk staff was very nice and helpful. The only bad thing about the hotel was the location. It was a 15-30 minute bus ride and 10-15 minute skytrain ride into downtown.
Date of Stay:

DaysInn was just what I wanted. I know very little about the layout of Vancouver, BC downtown area. The front desk was so helpful in telling me where places were localed and how to get there by city bus and taxi. I arrived early and there was no problem in checking in immediately so I had free time to explore the city. The room was plain and clean and all that I needed.
Date of Stay:

Location. Employees/guests smoking in the hallways. This hotel is not for families or individuals who would like to have a good nights sleep in a comfortable/affordable hotel.
