The staff was friendly. The hotel was in dire need of remodeling and renovation. The location was ideal, being right off the freeway and the staff was rather friendly, but the hotel itself was a bit of a disappointment. It seemed as if no major updates or renovations had ever been done since the hotel was built, so there was a drab and discolored feel to everything from the carpet to the walls to the sink and bathtub. Our room was clean, but the age discoloration of the tub, toilet, and sink made it appeared to be less so.

Our room needed a complete remodeling job. Carpet felt dirty; furniture was spotted with stains; bathroom was decrepit and dingy -- water from the shower went all over the floor and there were not enough towels. The TV and AC worked fine, but I would not stay there again.

Location. The bathroom was filthy and the smoke detector was missing. The McComb Days Inn was in a convenient location; however, the bathroom tub was dirty and there was a ring inside the commode. The smoke detector had been ripped from the ceiling. I would not recommend this location to others as there is 2 new motels the next exit up from this one that are in much better condition.

Friendly front desk and staff. Great breakfest buffet and lovely grounds. Did not have iron in room. Very comfortable with hospitable staff. Lovely grounds with pool in an inner court. Pine trees, beautiful landscaping. Just off I-55, near shopping center, hospital and area attractions. This hotel is a simple upgrade of its in-room amenities and fixtures shy of its brand-new hotel neighbors.

Quietness, pool, can dine in for breakfast and dinner. Let people drinking alcholic beverages by the pool. Convenient, cozy, quiet, staff very helpfull with directions.

There was a bed in the room. The TV did not work. The smoke detector was not plugged in. The refrigerator did not work. The AC did not work. Had to change rooms at 0430. This hotel was one of the worst experiences of my travels. I will never visit this hotel again. The staff was less than accommodating and actually insulted me and my intelligence at one point. I asked for some kind of refund, not a full refund just a partial, and was basically "blown off".

Bathroom was newly tiled and very clean. People were smoking in the restaurant. Moderately priced, basic hotel with clean rooms, free buffet breakfast, and pleasant, knowledgeable staff.

Hotel location is very good. No service for room clean up after 12p.m. The hotel location is good, the room service can used some improvement if you sleep in, and your room will not be clean until next day. Room service stops at 12:p.m. Each day. What good is a vacation if you're on schedule?

Location. It was nasty. No light bulb in the room worked. I would not stay there again. I stayed in this hotel about three years ago and had no problems. I believe the problems I encountered on this trip is that the hotel is full of Katrina evacuees that are having rooms paid for by FEMA therefore have no financial responsibility or concern for the property. It is dire need of cleaning and renovation now.
