Be sure to wait to pay at the hotel and don't book on Orbitz...hotel price was $15 cheaper a night. Great location, clean room, quiet, Nice little pool for parents with little children (could be warmer). Tons of restaurants around.

Nothing. Bathroom wall had holes in it poor breakfast. Hotel was not up to Days inns standards I would not go back there again.

After a flight cancellation from Detroit to Toledo due to rain on the 2nd of July. 2008.; we arrived safely and soundly on the 3rd of July. It was a relief to finally arrive at out hotel and find our reservation for the remaining days in tack. We found our room to be clean, a very comfortable bed, and a coffee maker for me for the morning. Restaurants and stores are close and within driving distance. The desk was friendly and it all worked out GREAT!. We would come back and stay there again. If driving to Toledo Express Airport, it's almost a straight shot.

Small room with a upholestered chair that very dirty and afraid to sit in. 2 ice machines and both were broken. No ice buckets in room. 4 persons in room, but not enough towels. The towels were very thread bare. Not a pleasant experience!

Nothing. Room smelled, no late check outs, no iron and board provided (had to walk across the parking lot to the front desk to get an old rusty iron). Just a terrible experience and a waste of money. There were hotels all over the area, so choose a better one!

Very suitable for an overnaight stay.

It was a place to sleep. The front desk staff is terrible so it was good that we didn't need their assistance. The fridge in our room was dirty with stuff on the shelves. My parents had a room down from us and their TV along with one of the electrical outlets didn't work. Since we were only staying the one night, we didn't say anything. I would not stay here again.

Location in regards to Sandusky. Room was very plane, was more a motel then hotel. We stayed at the hotel with the idea that we could cut off our time to drive to Cedar Point and save money staying an hour away vs. staying in Sandusky. This worked out very well. The location was prefect. The room was very plane and had an off smell to it. There was some water damage to the bottom of the walls in the bathroom. This was more a motel as there were no internal hall ways, everything was outside. If you are looking to keep you stay very cheap, then this isn't bad, but if you are looking for some quality, you may want to look around a little.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The motel is located on two major roads in Maumee and close to Interstate 80. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that there was a lot of noise just outside the room.

Cheap. Parking not well lit; very little parking. We arrived after dark and could not find a place to park. The drive thru check in was not available because someone was parked in that driveway area. Parking lot was not lit and very unsafe. Check in staff was polite, quick, and helpful. Room was about what we expected. Clean, but sparse with beds as hard as stone. We wouldn't stay here again. It was cheap and the room was acceptable, but we didn't feel safe and were frustrated at the lack of parking.
Date of Stay:
July, 2007
Air conditioning was good. Dirty shower & bathroom, uncomfortable beds. Sheets came off the mattress constantly. I did not feel that this was a 2 star hotel. It was levels below a standard 2.5 star hotel.
Date of Stay:
June, 2007
The location off the highway. Outdated, Rude Staff, Construction of new neighboring hotel taking up 80% of the parking lot. This hotel was horrible! Do not stay here. It served our purpose for just an overnight, but do not consider a prolonged stay here. We were awakened by a phone call at 2 a.m. accusing us of fighting and causing a ruckus and when we told the front desk clerk we were sleeping and he had the wrong room, we were told to "keep it down". The new Holiday Inn being constructed next door was overflowing into their parking lot, leaving us no room to park due to construction materials and equipment .

Location. Location hard to get to and area under construction. Hotel didn't meet star rating. No iron or coffee pot.

Nothing, I did not stay as it was unacceptable. I went down the street & found my own hotel. This hotel was disgusting &I want my money back! It was disgusting & I did not stay there &I want my money back. I walked in & it was dirty, it smelled, it looked like low income families live there & I asked for a refund as I did not accept the room. I want my money back & someone to contact me as soon as possible. I did call your service immediately to let them know my dissatisfaction & I wanted a refund. I was told I would be contacted by Saturday -- yesterday.

Location, staff willing to get us into a non-smoking, double room. OK accommodations for an overnight on the road. A lot of construction going on next door where they're building a Holiday Inn with a water park, and the construction workers staying at the Day's Inn were tracking a lot of mud around, which was not the Inn's fault. Wireless internet available.
Date of Stay:
June, 2007
The room was clean. The hotel was run down and short-staffed. I am very hesitant to try again. This day's inn was not even a one-star in our estimation.
Date of Stay:
June, 2007
Nothing. Bad area and not safe and room was not in good condition at all. Would never recommend it not clean or safe.
Date of Stay:
June, 2007
Hot water. The room was not a two star room, ceiling was falling down, bed not comfortable. Day's inn should not be a two star. Never ever is a day's inn in the same ballpark as comfort inn and suites or courtyards or fair field inns.
Date of Stay:
June, 2007
Nothing. It was not the hotel that bothered us and it does not meet basic requirements. I did not like the looks of the hotel when we drove by so we kept on going.
