The clerk who checked me in was more interested in the game he was playing on the computer than checking me in. The day clerk was not very helpful (at first) about getting a fridge and microwave and I had to get one myself from a room that was being vacated. The exercise room (if you can call it that) was extremely small and had limited equipment. Plus the TV remote would not work and the same day clerk could not be the least abit interested in trying to help. The carpet in the entire place needs replacing or at least smoothing out, as there were several places where it was a trip hazard.

Location. Great place to stay if going to concerts at the Myth or the Maplewood Mall. Easy to find, good location and with in walking distance to what I needed.

We stayed at this facility while attending a concert (Mushroomhead) at The Rock. This is a great location, just a few blocks from the venue. The hotel was decent -- not super-clean or well-maintained, but definitely acceptable for the low rate and convenient location. I did have a hard time finding it -- if you go there, it's behind The Myth nightclub.

I visited this hotel with my wife while she attended a business conference. The facility has the potential to be quite nice, however it is quite old and rundown. Staff insists it is being renovated however, no one seems to be in a hurry. Furniture in rooms is quite old and beat up. The whole building seems quite unkept and the staff do not seem to take pride in service. For example on one night, my wife and I passed the pool area where there was some sort of gathering. The next morning when I went to go to the fitness area I noticed all the food and plates were still sitting out. Perhaps, it was the responsibility of the party to clean up but I also noticed the hamper for the pool towels was overflowing with used towels and there were none available to use. In addition to this, my wife and I noticed some room service trays that sat out in the hallway for over 16 hours. The welcome dinner was nice, however the salad they served was lettuce with one small cherry tomato and a spritz of ranch dressing. This seemed to be the trend around the dining room. In addition to this, the company had organized for a nice breakfast in the morning however, they woke up and received only a donut. As I said ealier, the hotel has potential as it is situated in a great shopping area just off the highway. However, it needs a change in management to instill a service attitude. A decent place to stay if you need a quick stop with access to shopping and restaurants.

Convenient for my stay. Dirty towels hung behind my bathroom door/broken furniture. It was not what I had expected - the first room I was in had a broken chair - which I had been asked to be moved - I did not want to get charge for something I had not done - 2nd room, there were half a roll of toilet paper - TV plugged in and did not work, the worst was a dirty towel still hung behind my bathroom door? Cigarette burns all over the floor/carpet - I had requested for a smoking but thought it'd be in better condition - it just was not what I had expected and was very disappointed to walk into 2 rooms and not one was okay! Oh! and the front desk person was not so friendly when we called about the things wrong in the two hotel rooms we had been checked into.

Location was great for shopping. Very dirty and beds wereuncomfortable. The room was non-smoking, although it smelled of stagnant smoke. The towels and bedding were thin and very cheap looking, or warn. I would not stay there again, not even for free. The pool was over crowded and too many kids for the size. The pool was also very cloudy. There were very few chairs and towels available for the number of people using the facility.

I did not feel safe. I was alone with 2 young children and did not receive any assistance from the hotel staff when loading my things into the room.

Beds were comfortable, building was quiet. Dirty halls, dirty carpet, dirty bathroom, dirty tub, dirty walls. Dirty. Comfortable beds, quiet facility. Could use huge improvement in terms of its cleanliness. Cobwebs and dust galore in hallways. Stained, dirty walls and cigarette burns everywhere on carpet in room. A fresh coat of paint would do wonders. Would not walk barefoot in room or bathroom.

Nice location if you want to shop. Also, lots of restaurants. Not a good hotel if you want luxury or a lot of frills. Nice place to stay if you want to be in this area (North St. Paul). Restaurant was excellent. Lots of shopping and eating places close by. A somewhat low frills place to stay.

Was nice that there was a mall in same parking lot, liked sitting area in our room. Outside door didn't lock. The hotel lobby was very nice. Rooms were nice, halls were a little spooky feeling.

location. The floor was wet & the room smelled damp. The location was great and the little I had to do with the staff was very impressive but I was disappointed in the damp floors and smell in the room. It was late when we got there and I was to tired to complain so.

Amenities. I was not happy with this hotel, our room smelled bad and it said rooms had internet which was not true of ours. Overall it looks like it could use some fixing up.

Within walking distance of Maplewood Mall. Nice place to stay, many good restaurants in area, lots of shopping options nearby, restaurant in hotel, pool & hot tub in hotel, good location.

Clean Bad service. Staff not at all helpful. I called in advance to see if they had a crib. They told me they did. When I got there, they did not. Also, our baby spit up on the sheet and it took three phone calls plus one trip (in three hours) to the front desk to get another one. This is not customer service.

Clean rooms; friendly front desk staff Hard to find - in outlet of mall parking lot Have stayed here before - nice hotel. This stay did not get much sleep - after 2 calls to the front desk, the MOD finally showed up at 1 am to the room next door to get them to quiet down - never checked back and they were loud until 2:30 am. Not very pleased with the MOD.....
