Great Location, Olympic size swimming pool! They have a Bar attached to the hotel, nice some times :-) Even with a live band performing in the attached bar we could not hear it at all in our hotel room, I was surprised really. The place is very, very good. I will always stay there when I travel that way. The hall way carpet had a few steins but who cares about that, the room was great! I very much recommend this hotel all the way.

Friendly staff, very close to the hospital trover health system. The rooms are divided by doors, so you can hear the other parties conversation. This hotel is excellent in service, room, cleaning, amenities (Olympic size swimming pool, treadmills). Front desk is very helpful and attentive. If you will be staying there on a Friday night and have a business conduct in the morning, you might want to ask the front desk to relocate, to avoid the band noise in which they're gladly willing to do so for you. I would not recommend the hotel food, but there's apple bee's up the street. It all depends on your traveling experience too.

The rooms are OK for the price. For $** it's well worth the stay. You may be tempted to get a drink in the lounge (bully's lounge). DON'T DO IT! The lounge is under completely different ownership from the hotel. The owners of Day's Inn are nice...It's a family owned business. However, Bully's Lounge is a really ***** bar. Stay away for Bully's Lounge! Stay in the hotel, it's a good deal for the money. If you want a drink, just go to applebee's, it less than 1/2 mile away.

We stayed in Evansville at the Days Inn because it was close to Earlanton, the home of the people we were visiting. The front desk and all staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a handicapped accessible room, which was very clean, large and comfortable. The price was very reasonable and we would stay there again.

Everything was just fine except for the price that I paid through [...] was more expensive than, if I were to wait till i got down there to book my room. My mother got a room once she got down there and paid 20 dollars less than I did.

Their Indoor Pool was great. The Bar that is in the hotel. The night we stayed the bar had a band and we could hear the band. Kept me and my son up until the band stopped playing early in the morning.

The people are really nice but the guest rooms are not very well kept. I stayed at the hotel a few years ago and I was very pleased with it. When I visited in April of 2006, I was amazed by the lack of attention given to keeping the place clean. What a disappointment.

My family of four were headed to the pool, and we realized that we had forgotten towels. One of the staff was a few steps behind us, and I exclaimed, We have to go back and get towels. The staff member said I'll radio a security guard to get you some, and bring them to you. I said, Really? He said sure. A guard brought them to us, and I really appreciated the help because we have two small children, and the trip back upstairs would have been time consuming. The room was comfortable, but there was no small refrigerator. That would be have been nice, but otherwise, we were pleased.

The pool was nice and very large. We arranged for a late checkout and were bothered by housekeeping several times. The staff was friendly for the most part. Was not a relaxing atmosphere that I had hoped.

Helpful, friendly, responsive staff. It's not an "upscale" kind of place. They need to use black mulch in the rear "courtyard". Clean, nice, basic lodging with friendly helpful staff. They were accommodating in cleaning the room around our schedule -- which could have been difficult due to our dog, who they also welcomed. Definitely would recommend this hotel. Best one in this small town.
