The woman checking me in was not friendly at all. Then I get to the room, which looked like the staff possibly used as a 'resting place' -- bed rumpled, bathroom dirty, and tv unplugged.

The location. Broken chair in room and water stayed in the tub. There was a broken chair in the room when we got there and when we used the shower the water stayed in the bathtub and never drained out.

I would not stay here again. The rooms are musty and are unclean. The staff was not very friendly when we checked in and seemed aggravated to wait on us. When we went over to the bar that evening the bartender was very rude and she never rang up our money to give our change back and put it all in her tip jar. I will certainly not come back to this hotel and recommend others not to either.

Our rooms could have been a lot cleaner. The room smelled musty and the sheets were not clean when we checked in. They did bring clean sheets and apologize.....We made the best of it but we won't go back.

In any situation you have to know what is most important to you. This hotel was inexpensive, it offered a free airport shuttle, there was a restaurant attached, and I only needed one night. The hotel needs serious updates and cleaning. The outside doors to the parking areas were not only unlocked, but could not be closed. The shuttle driver was fantastic, the hotel check-in person was rude, and the restaurant staff were great.

Room was big. Not moderate enough. Needed to be cleaner. The room was big. It needed to be updated.It needed to be decorated in light cheerful colors. It was dark and dingy looking. Not a good end of town. Our confirmation said check-in time was 2:00p.m. and we arrived about 1:45 p.m. and we were told check-in time was 3:00 so we went to the mall and came back around supper time.We were not to happy about that.

The ony thing going for this hotel was it's location and it was clean. Everything else was not so good. The staff was not all that friendly. When we arrives we went to check out our room and the mini fridge was not working the carpet was wet from it leaking and the room stunk something horrible. So we asked for another room and that one had a worse smell than the first. So we asked for a third room and this one was located on the first floor and had a sliding glass door that opened to the parking lot so we stayed in that one so we could air it out a little. The Continental breakfast was the bare minimun and closed 10 minutes early. Also they advertise handicapp rooms but when I asked for one they told me they did not have any handicapp equipped rooms they just had rooms on the first level!! Otherwise the location was very convienant for everything we wanted to do in and around Lexington. The bed linens were really old and the ice machine on my floor did not work. The outside doors were never locked.

They neglected to clean my room Fri and sat until i called on sat nite. the side door key required entry was broken and anyone could enter anytime.

Big rooms. Smoking rooms next to non-smoking. Great place to stay for the price. We were there for a football game. Convenient to UK, wish there were more restaurant around. The place at the hotel was kind of shady.

the Days Inn room was average, cleanliness lacked a bit, but the staff was very sweet and location was perfect. Minutes from downtown Lexington, great value for the money.

Easy access from interstate and Downtown area Lexington. The mattress quality was very poor. Bad nights rest. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly as well as knowledgeable of the surrounding area. The only recommendation I would make is that the mattresses were terribly cheap and uncomfortable ... just grade up a bit and all would be well.However, on the other side of the coin the room was very clean and up to date looking. If the small changes are made the quality of the hotel should rise.

I wouldn't recommend this location as the hotel is not secure. During the middle of the night, I walked outside and upon returning, I discovered that the door wouldn't lock. When I informed the staff the following morning during check out, instead of offering any kind of future discount, they simply stated that had I informed them, they would have changed my room. Change rooms at 3AM??

Staff is very friendly, security is great, rooms were great. Glass sliding doors needed cleaned and there were some cob webs in corner of ceiling. I would recommend this hotel and would definately stay here again. Great location. We were in town for concert was very easy access to Rupp Arena.

Electrical outlets did not work. Bathroom light did np0t work. Door locks kept re-setting code so we had to get new keys twice. Tears in furniture

All of the staff were extremely nice and it's only 10 mintues away from Rupp Arena. I'm allergic to smoke, and although the hotel was supposed to be smoke free, there were people smoking cigarettes. The hotel was clean, the staff was extremely nice and the location was great. The only complaint I have is that if a facility is smoke-free, noone, especially guests, should be allowed to smoke in the building. If only certain rooms are smoke free, they should not be on the same floor as smoking rooms, it totally defeats the purpose of a smoke-free room, because it can still be smelled very easily.

Size of the room, refrigerator, microwave, safe, coffee pot, hair dryer. Days Inn was attractive with friendly service. Amentities made a traveler feel at home. We had two rooms one for an older son then one for my husband and me. What can I say, but The price was right!
