we got in at 12:30pm and then had to wait for half an hour and 3 different staff members to verify that the lock on the door was broken and then get us into the room.

convenient distance to FedEx Field train tracks behind the hotel; very noisy

We have the location convenient to the Metro (one mile to New Carrolton station). Disappointment was that there was NO 'courtesy breakfast' of any kind, not even coffee or juice. The Days Inn website did not list this as available but online does. The Days Inn website did show a photo of a "breakfast area" which led us to believe there would be something. We found a great 'pancake house' a couple miles south, however. The bathroom was recently updated very nicely and was very clean. The Days Inn website indicates that rooms have small refrigerators or microwaves but our room (two double beds) had neither. The wireless internet access worked flawlessly during our three night stay. There were no security incidents but the lobby personnel are behind bullet proof glass so it did not make my wife and kids comfortable.

the rooms did not have a resturant menu and i had to go down to the room to see a menu in order to get food tp be sent to the room for my wife & me. it was also sent in stiroform cartons with plastic utensils. this is my first time experiincing this with a resturant in the hotel property.

A comfortable bed and a good shower are always important to me, and I thought the bed and shower were both very satisfactory.

The halls and room stunk of cigerette smoke, there was no pool and the restaurant only served caribian food. Very disapointed.Cigarette filled the air.

We tend to stay at inexpensive, two-star motels when we know most of our time will be away from the facility. Days Inns are inexpensive and usually serve our needs...but with plenty of borderline quality/service areas (cleanliness, features, staff attitude, etc.). Not this one...it was similarly expensive but surprisingly 3-star plus. Spotless, well appointed rooms, restaurant/bar on premesis, fitness center, free parking, friendly and helpful staff, free wi-fi, everything working that should work, and a rather large flat screen TV hanging onthe wall. We chose to spend more time at the motel than previously planned...it was that good! Hope they keep their "Days Inn" rate. If they do, we'll be back.

The hotel is very easy to find. It is within walking distance of a Red Lobster restaurant, a pizza restaurant and a McDonalds - a few blocks away is a Burger King. The hotel restaurant closes early. The hotel staff gave us wrong closing times when we asked. The hotel restaurant is a buffet that in my opinion had a limited selection. The housekeeping began at 8:00 am (it was not too early for some, I guess). They talked loudly. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and respected our Do Not Disturb sign. When they saw me, they did ask if I need towels or anything. The exercise room is reasonable equip and clean and in good condition to my delight. I was glad to see a refrigerator for dinner left overs and a microwave. The coffee maker was well equip and the coffee was good I would stay there again and would recommend it to others. My only suggestion would be to go into the parking area that requires your room card to get the lift gate to open. I just felt my vehicle was safer there. The hotel is right at the freeway, but surprise me at how quiet it was in the room.

The clean atmosphere the room was decorated really nice and the bathroom looked good. I did enjoy the overall stay but would eat somewhere else.

Friendly and helpful staff. The detergent used for laundry bothered my skin. Convenient, comfortable and safe place to stay.

Looks like very recent construction & very well done. I was put off by the excessive security around the front desk. Everything was new looking and clean and well maintained but I was uncomfortable with the apparent need for high security in it's location. I think next visit to Washington I would pay more for a better location.

Not worth the money I paid. Excellent location for driving. The hotel rooms are too small and border A train track.

The flat screen TV's are awesome in these rooms. Could not connect to the wifi at all. Tried for 2 days while I was there but the signal was so low as if I was living away from the hotel. Lots of security features in the hotel. Looking at the security it just makes you feel like you may be living in the wrong neighborhood. But, it's always good to be living securely.

Toilets were noisy. Great room for the price, as well as an array of amenities in the room (flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, safe). I was surprised to find it had wireless internet, which was not noted on the hotel description. I had a pleasant stay, with major transportation (metro) reasonably close by.

Reasonable rates for d c beltline. Even though it is within sight of the beltway, the actual access to the beltline is rather strange, involving going under and around the main route. It has been remodeled, and the bathrooms are quite nice. The rooms are nice but not fresh or inspiring. The hotel hosts a lot of high school tour groups from surrounding states, and does an excellent job of not letting the teenagers spoil the experience of the rest of the guests.

Nothing. Dirty, bad restaurant, poor service, poor location. Stay away at all costs, you need to dump this place from the roster.

The room was redone and the TV was a flat screen. When I arrived I asked for a very non smoking room and he said he did not have one and that I had requested a smoking room. This hotel was in very bad shape with smoke smells everywhere, the staff was rude and unfriendly.
