Due to an emergency trip, broke my rule of researching reviews and ended up in this dismal, smoky, unsecure motel room, in a less than desirable part of town. The door to the room had large gaps around it, allowing the highway traffic noise and what seemed to be a huge party gathering of monster truck types who were there for an event at the nearby civic center. The room was dirty, especially the carpet, and by morning cigarette smoke had infiltrated what was supposed to be a non smoking room. It seemed to be located in an industrial area, even though there was a view of the lake, beyond the green water of the pool. When trying to get the access codes for internet, no one ever answered the phone in the office. We were booked for two nights and needless to say, we left after the first. Hopefully we can get our second night refunded. We moved east to Jennings and highly recommend the Jr. Suite at the Hampton Inn in Jennings!

In process of being redecorated. Convenient location. Lack of water pressure. Computer connectivity was not working. Very comfortable bed. Courteous staff. Clean. TV picture was fair. Very little water pressure in the shower. Computer connectivity was not functioning.

The comforter had blood on it, on the inside. The blanket had stains and ink drawings on it. When asked to have housekeeping to change my sheets, I was told that housekeeping was gone for the evening and that all they had was an extra sheet that I would have to change myself. I reported this incident the next morning to the manager and was told that they were unable to verify the cleaniness of the bed linens because housekeeping had already placed them in the wash. Obviously I checked out of the hotel early, I was refused a receipt upon checkout. I had to call the police for the manager to demand that they give me a receipt for the total they were charging me.

The bed. Bathroom was terrible, construction in the AM, smelled of mildew. It was off 1-10 and was basically an expensive motel.

Parking was a big problem.

It is close to two casinos. It was not clean. The bathroom was in need of a good scrubbing, especially the floor. The breakfast offered was okay. It bothered me that the rolls, bagels and bread were sitting on pieces of foil that clearly had been recycled several times before. The man that checked us in was nice. Two other staff members wouldn't smile at me.

Room was very clean, had microwave, portibale frig, large tv, blowdryer. Only problem was finding a parking spot at 2 AM in the morning. We finnny found one. Other than that, We give it a good rating. Access to the interstate wasn't bad either We were well satisfied & would stay there again. The people at the front desk were very accomodating & very pleasant.

Location. Felt unsafe at night. The people were friendly and the room was just ok. The parking lot was scary at night and the surrounding area was still severely damaged by storm. The hotel was still recovering.

we got to this place and it was pouring down rain and storming. i knew the check in time was 3, and we were there around two. we were told the room was not ready. the clerk had just given someone a room and they paid in cash. however, my credit card had already been charged, so i think that i should have gotten a room also. the clerk was rude, and obnoxious. we needed to use the restroom since we had to wait. she told us it was not working. she goes right to the restroom and uses it herself. there were not enough towels, and not enough covers on one of the beds. we had to ask a maid we just happened to see for more. overall, i would not ask a dog to stay here.!!!!!

"Unless you know how to get there already, the hotel is a pain to get to. The room smelled, horribly! The renovation work to the bathroom was poorly done and the internet service was weak."

Couldn't use stopped up sink. Shower head didn't work properly & the plastic curtain was torn. No facial tissue in holder. Extremely thin bath towels. VERY noisy location. Holes in walls. Staff needs lessons in customer service. Price too high for product & service received.

"Rooms were worn, holes in wall, mildew in shower, carpet palpably dirty (left dirt on white socks). Public areas looked worn. Free breakfast dismal--orange juice watered, cereal stale. Service indifferent. Parking lot couldn't accommodate the large number of construction vehicles. I had to park far from my room. Construction workers smoking and swilling beer on balconies at night didn't provide jolly atmosphere."

the room was clean but the motel cleck was somewhat rude because of the discount i had recieved with this company.
