The hotel wasn't that bad. You definitely get what you pay for. Cheap. The shower was the worst part. The hot water was the only one that worked and nearly burnt my husband to death. Couldn't even shut water off cause it was burning him so bad. If a child would have been in there she would have third degree burns probably. Would not recommend that hotel unless they get things fixed.

It had wireless internet, refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom was very old. Tried to sleep to much light coming from outside. Overall all this to me would not be a place I would stay. It was a very old hotel. It was great for what we needed at the time.

The remodeling of this Days Inn was much overdue. We have stayed here several times. It is now a very pleasant place to stay. The rooms have been updated and are comfortable. Management is taking pride in the appearance of the hotel. The staff is polite and accommodating. We look forward to staying many times in the future.

My son and I wanted a good night sleep before his college meeting on Feb. 2nd so we decided to come a day early so we would be rested for his college tour.I had stayed at Days Inn before and know that most are not 5 star hotels BUT I never would expected one to be this bad! Urine all over the tolets, looks as if not been cleaned. Shower area flithy-flithy! Your skin crawled. No TV remote, Kids Partying upstairs all night, cars in and out of lot, doors do not make you fill safe in rooms, heaters smelly. I know if my husband was with me he would have insisted our money back and left, which is what I should have done, but I was tired and didnt want to mess with it. The morning clerk asked me how I was I told him I was tired and that there was a party upstairs all night- he laughed! Our visit to the college was rough! We were so tired it was hard to keep up with them all and I had a long drive back so I had to go take a nap in the car and my son finished the visit himself. He sleeped on the way home while I drove.Bad Bad place!! Would not stay there again and warn others not to!!

convenience to the airport. The room was filthy and the air conditioner did not work. This hotel is not for families, business travelers, or romantic getaways. It is close to the Knoxville airport if you need a place to crash before a flight. Too many people partying all night, receptionist was rude, airconditioning did not work, & the walls were paper thin. I could hear our hotel neighbor snoring. Need I say more.

We have stayed at this particular motel a few times in the past, but they have recently remodeled the rooms and it is much nicer. The mattresses and furnishings are new and the staff seems to take pride in their new surroundings.

I finally had to call the cops on a ridiculously loud party at 3am that the desk refused to do anything about. The bathtub had no stopper, the sink had no hot water, the hair dryer didn't work, the mattresses must have been 40 years old and the bathroom door was only half painted! Upon checking out the front desk thought it was funny and after calling the general manager/owner to demand my money back, he became extremely rude! After calling the general Days Inn number, they told me those were independently owned and they could do nothing. Does no one care that the chain handles customers this way?

Price. Smell, fridge didn't work, felt unsafe. This was by far my worst experience. The staff spoke very little English and tried to talk us out of getting our room cleaned. Several places had severe termite damage. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if it were half the price we paid. This hotel doesn't deserve a star. If you care about your reputation, I suggest disassociating from this hotel!

I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Alcoa Tennessee. I had a lovely experience. I was supprised at how nice the rooms was. When I commented on the rooms to the front desk they told me that all new furniture had been purchased just the week before. The check in clerk was very helpful with all of my needs. Being from out of town I had a lot of silly questions. The entire staff was very professional and very helpful. It was a wonderful experiance. I will definantly be staying there when I go back to the Knoxville area.

Cheap. Noisy, on final approach to airport, and drug party place. Cheap - adequate.

Location. It was filthy and poorly kept, specially the room. Horrible, does not deserve the 2 stars you give it. I would have never chosen it if it had the rating it really deserved, which is definitely not 2 stars! 1 star is high, compared to other 2 stars in the area.
