Great location, clean andfriendly service. No coffee maker in the room.

The room was very dirty, rug not vacuumed, and dirty, walls dirty, bathroom walls dirty, bathroom floor dirty, blood on shower curtain and the vanity was dirty. There were just enough towels for one person, when two of us had reserved the room. The heating system was broken and I had to play thermostat all night shutting off the heat when it got too hot and turning it back on when it got cold. The staff was cold and abrupt. Breakfast consisted of weak coffee, dry cornflakes, three pieces of bread, and two 1/2 pieces of a bran muffin and stale donut holes. There was no hair dryer, no iron, no iron board. The website quoted a price with a $ a night surcharge for a pet, but the charge was $ a night when we got to the hotel. I would not stay at this Days Inn again and I would not recommend it to anyone

Everyone on the front desk was foreign and hard to understand. They did not smile and were not friendly. I had reserved a room for 4 people with 2 beds and when I arrived they wouldn't let me see the room because it was one hour before check-in. I asked if they had a room available on the side where the pool was and the answer was "no, we don't have any more rooms. By the time I returned it was one hour after you could cancel, but the room was just a single bed and not 2 doubles as I reserved. If I had seen the room beforehand I could have cancelled since they said they didn't have more rooms. But, once I had seen the room with only one bed they magically had a two bed room available - for almost double the price!!!! I will never stay at this hotel again....

To begin, the entire parking lot was a sheet ice. After falling several times, I made my way into the lobby which smelled like mold & I don't know what. I checked in and proceeded to drive through the ice rink that was where I was to park my car. While my husband was walking "the plank" to our room, his foot almost went thorugh the floorboards. We entered the room by turning our noses up at the stench, to see holes in the curtains and stains everywhere. We decided that this was not where we would stay. We informed the front desk that we would be leaving and that I fell to which she responded "my salt truck will be here tomorrow." I then spent the next 2 plus hours on the phone with several reps re: this reservation to which they were mistreated by the same staff. This was my worst experience ever with a hotel!

Nothing. It looks bad & smells bad.

For the price we paid, the motel was what we expected. It was a little worn, but it was clean. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast (again you get what you pay for) had weak coffee and limited cereal/breads from which to choose. We would stay there again, being that we look for bargains and only needed a place to sleep for the night.

After a day of shopping we pulled in here to stay for the night. The manager and his wife greeted us and let us know that if we needed anything to let them or the night clerk to know. We took a swim in the pool and the manager was in the pool house checking on the water levels. We asked about places to eat and he was able to give us a number of choices and directions to each. The room was very clean. The beds and bedspreads were new this year. It was a quiet spot in a perfect location - a mile from the Maine-New Hampshire border. I would stay here again any day!

First we were told we did not have a confermation ( especially @ those prices), and was sent to another Hotel down the road .... they did not have us either and called the Days Inn who then said they had us. we went back and checked in only to find the room was old, small just big enough for one person, and filthy, the room had fingernails and toenails all over the floor. We tried to cancell and go back to the other hotel, only to be told we'd be charged for the room ... I booked for a room with King size bed and got a bed just slightly larger than a twin ... the person at the desk said there is no way I booked for a larger bed at the price I stated, ( so now I'm a liar). We stayed one night and cancelled the second night .... I would not reccomend this place to anyone ... and will definatley not stay there again. The Hotel Stated Days Inn but in the rooms on the backs of the doors it said motel 8, so this place had been changed in name but thats about it ....save your money and try a differnt hotel either in Portsmouth or down the road in Kittery.

It was more run down than any of the Comfort Inn's I've stayed at in the past.

Small room, and no breakfast. Breakfast was not available, room was clean but holes in the wall and very small.

Coffee in room, curved shower, immediate hot water. Snow removal not the best, but consistent with the area. Very clean, older hotel which has been updated. Room was small but fine for one person. Bed was comfortable. Everything was in working order. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Good place to rest for the night, very friendly and accommodating staff. The bathroom sink drain pipe in our room was leaking. This is my only real complaint. The Days Inn Kittery is not a good choice for those expecting luxury, however, if you're looking for a cheap, comfortable night's rest with close proximity to the Kittery outlets and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, I don't think this place can be beat. You get all the basics: bed(s), bathtub/shower, toilet, sink, closet, TV, desk and chairs... it's really quite adequate and the price can't be beat. I was also glad to have had very friendly, helpful staff--we didn't check in until nearly 4AM, and the man at the desk was very accommodating for us and allowed us to check out later than usual check-out time due to our late arrival. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying somewhere in the area, and would return again myself!

The man working at the front desk was VERY friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast did not have a good selection and did not have any breads/muffins that were whole grains. Overall, pretty good. Would suggest better variety for the continental breakfast, particularly healthier choices of whole grains.

Good quality king size bed. Miniscule bathroom. Perfectly adequate for an overnight stop. The owner who checked us in could have been a little friendlier instead of just deadpan. The hotel had hardly any custom that night so it is doubtful that the better rooms were all occupied. No complaints about the actual rooms though. Breakfast was adequate but nothing to get excited about.
