I was greeted warmly, the breakfast was good and the room was really nice with an awesome view. The rooms were clean. The internet was a little slower than I'm used to, but that was no big deal. We enjoyed our stay.

Very clean. Bed was kind of lumpy.

Like a previous poster, the walls were thin. Luckily the group next to us stopped dribbling the basketball before we went to bed. The breakfast is decent and everything was clean. The pool needs to be indoors though.

This hotel is in a convenient location. The fitness room is small, but adequate, with all equipment in good working condition (3 cardio machines). Good value for the price. I have stayed here twice and would go again.

Convenience, free breakfast. The room was small and awkward for two people, the mattress was very uncomfortable and the bathroom sink emitted a sewer smell. This is a small, convenient hotel within the city. There is no view other than parking lots. It has a bar/lounge and a breakfast room. The room seemed to us to be a small lock-off rather than a full-sized room.

WE just stayed 5 nights and had to move rooms 3 times because of the plumbing. Clogged sink, running toilet, clanking heater and bathroom vent. The staff did all they could to make our stay great but this hotel needs some love. Plenty of pillows but the BEDS were HARD and Queen bed felt like a Double. Breakfast is very basic. Biscuits & Gravy, toaster Waffles, the smallest fruit I've ever seen, apple or orange juice and some cereal. They do provide free USA Todays every morning at the desk. They have a Lounge/ Bar upstairs in the Hotel that attracts noisy people going up and down the stairways. Thin walls make for unwanted wake ups during the night. We could hear the Staff in the mornings talking at the top of their lungs it seemed like but the walls were so thin their voices just carried and we were on the second floor above? I personally wished we had stayed at the "Comfort Inn & Suites". They really looked like they know how to take care of their customers. They are located in a better area next to the Black HIlls Gold factory Outlet. Love that Black Hills Gold!

This hotel was comfortable and reasonblty priced. There were not very many amenities, but we were not expecting any, so the few aminities it did have were a pleasant surprise.

Outdoor pool was nice. Room had a funny smell. Also - the room smelled like a hair salon. Overall, the hotel was clean, but nothing spectacular.

This hotel was what we were looking for. The front desk was always attended and the personel was very helpful and informitive. This hotel was centeraly located and made it easy to get to all the attractions. The rooms were very clean and were kept that way. The free breakfast was good, the biscuits and gravey were very good. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rapid City.

The hotel was easy to find, easy to check in, the staff was friendly and knowlegable about the area. The room was quite large, well appointed. The bed was too firm for my comfort, but you can't please everyone ! The shower was nice, needed a little hotter water. The staff cleaned every day. The outdoor pool was a little cool, but this is South Dakota ! Would like to see an exercise room and / or a spa or hot tub. Located close to several good places to dine. Overall, a good value.

The workers were very helpful and friendly. No indoor pool. The hotel knew of my situation with needing two beds. They worked hard to make it happen which they did. My 5'10" daughter was very happy to not be sleeping on a cot. Thanks to Days Inn for doing such a great job for us!

Hotel is clean, comfortable and well designed. Staff is friendly. Located West of town, so it is not on your way to airport, Mt. Rushmore, etc. The gym was a bit of a disappointment: just an exercise bike and treadmill.

Didn't really like anything about this hotel. The hotel room/common areas were dirty and smelly. Beds were uncomfortable, walls were thin. I was traveling with 7 people, 3 adults and 4 children. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, with or without children. The hotel was in a bad area. The beds were uncomfortable. The walls were thin so conversations in the hall and adjoining rooms could easily be heard. The rooms and common areas were not clean. The hotel had a funky smell. The only possible positive note is that the front desk staff was moderately helpful.

This is overall a nice motel with a great location-very handy to restaurants and shopping and tourist sites. However, the room had an unpleasant chemical odor. Also, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and the racket from the hardware store next door woke us up early every morning, and the cleaning wasn't the greatest. There were objects left on the floor that were there our entire stay so we could tell the room wasn't vacuumed the entire time we were there. Plus, the toilet barely flushed and would keep running sometimes. But the continental breakfast and the location were great. Maybe if we were in a different room we would have had a better experience. Overall, it's a toss up if I would recommend this motel.

Close to other things. No 3 prong outlets. Hotel does not even have 3 plug outlets in the rooms. So, I had to go buy an adapter to allow my laptop to work. Hotel is in middle of town, so decent location. Overall decent location and newer remodeled rooms.

Very friendly & easy location o find. Television remote only worked if you sat right by the TV. Overall this is a nice and clean hotel with a friendly staff. The lounge, casino & outdoor pool are some nice extras.

It was very inexpensive. Clerk was rude chewing gum and popping it while she checked us in. The staff was very rude. The rooms them selves were not filthy they were just worn linens seemed to be old and worn just not a place I would ever stay knowingly. Birds above door ways pooping on you as you walked in and out. No one at the front desk at night place seemed abandoned. Parking lot shared with burger king. Just not a real nice place was not worth what it cost to stay and would not send anyone I knew to stay there.

Staff was very friendly. They failed to tell us prior to our arrival that there was only one bed-we had 4 people! Clean room, good breakfast bar. Staff provided us with a cot, but it barely fit into the small room. We "lost" our camcorder, and called in them later that morning (around 9:00) to ask if they'd found it. They said they'd look and get back to us. They called us at 1:00-our room was 50 feet from the front desk!

The front desk staff was very kind. Not the cleanest I've stayed in motel 6 has higher standards. For the price I paid I think motel six would have been a better choice.

Fairly easy to find. Did not have a shuttle as advertised. This hotel was fair at best. The major reason we selected it was for the airport shuttle and it was actually a taxi that charged $12 per person. The desk staff had no idea that a hotel shuttle and a taxi were different, it would be like saying 24h dining and meaning there was a burger king across the street.
