the baqthroom looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks prior to our arrival. i had a problem w/the hairdryer & the night staff said too bad, you will have to deal w/it in the morning (very rude); the pool looked liked it had not been vacumed in forever; we couldnt even get 2 extra towels for the use of the pool (i wanted them so i could stretch them over the chairs) & there was no lounge. it looked like there was a seperate building that could have been the lounge but wasnt sure because we were never told about it & it was never open. the whole hotel thing was awful.

The bed was comfortable. Could've been cleaner. The hotel was close to a couple of resturants. It was quiet andeasy access to the Interstate.

The Days Inn Huntington was a disappointment. It started at check in when they tried to put us in a room that someone was already in. Luckily the room resident happened to be at the desk and said that it was his room. When we got to the room, the bathtub still had hair in it, there was an old empty water bottle behind the end table by the bed and the toilet was stopped up. There is no maintenance in the evenings so we had to ask for a plunger and plunge the toilet ourselves. On a king size bed they had 3 small flat pillows. We asked for pillows and desk clerk said there was no housekeeping in the evening and she did not have access to them. Also there were burnt out light bulbs in some of the fixtures. We did not expect luxury at the price we paid, but we did expect cleanliness and some form of service.

Staff was extremely helpful. Overall cleanliness left much to be desired. Bed linens were fresh and clean, but dust bunnies were in the ice bucket, mirror was smudged, cigarettes burns on bath tub - needs to be renovated. Appeared as though no one had been in the room for a long time. Smoking room, but did not have the stench that I have found at other hotels. Travel frequently - while it had its drawbacks - it was worth the nominal fee. After all, you get what you pay for. Next time I will try the Red Roof Inn next door that is within the same price range.

the guest books in the rooms give different check out times and pool closings. if you chose this hotel simply for the pool, the way i did, and the pool says it's open until 11p but is really only open until 9p, one, such as myself, would be quite bothered by the typo. The rooms were large but not set up in an aesthetically pleasing way.

I was very glad that the room included a refrigerator and microwave.

Had reservation...checked in..had two rooms.. The Rooms very VERY DIRTY....Carpet dirty...AC not working....was moved 3 times that afternoon before we got settle. Did not have room service on Saturday...said they do not make beds on Saturday or give towels. Would NEVER stay in that hotel again. I contacted Days Inn Upper Management they never even returned my calls.

It was passable for the price of the room...at that price, probably would stay again. Only problem was not exceptional clean, bug was on the wall, and had to throw it out. Location was good.

Gnats in orange juice. Gnats in Orange juice, rates too high and not negotiable for the area that I needed. Lady at front desk was very rude when I needed directions to hotel.

"Muddy carpeting, dryer sheets stuffed into the heater to help with the smell....ugghh. This motel is off my list of places to stay while in Huntington."

We had traveled for a very long distance and the staff of the Days Inn Huntington was friendly, the room very clean and comfortable. It was located near many food choices. We were very pleased.

Upon our arrival, we were checked in (we had two rooms). In my room, the remote on the TV did not work, and there was no wi-fi connection. The furniture was worn, and the porcelain in the bathroom fixtures was older and cracked. There was a phone in the bathroom but it did not work. I contacted the hotel staff about the remote and wi-fi. One of the workers gave another worker direction on getting me another remote, but said that nothing could be done about the wi-fi. The other worker took me to a different room that had the same layout as the one I was originally in. She ensured that the remote worked correctly. The room quality conditions were the same as described above. Turns out the wi-fi did not work in this room either. I was impressed with this second hotel staff worker and her eagerness to set things right. Unfortunately, the visit at this Days Inn did not stand out for any other reasons.

Rooms were very clean. Maintaned very well. Much better than Red Roof inn. Nothing. Very clean, spacious, friendly and I will definitely be staying here again when I need to be in the area. Try this Days Inn; it's so much better than the Red Roof Inn located behind this Days Inn.

The employees were very friendly. The air conditioning was very good (cold), but the bed was as hard as a rock, & the internet was very slow. I guess they were in process of renovating the motel because our room had holes that were patched in the walls & missing wallpaper.
