just driving up to the hotel was a unpleasant experience the location of the hotel is awful. The outside is dirty, the parking lot is small. there was no where to park. I Cancelled my reservation with the hotel. The hotel manger Gita Patel was not friendly, did not refund the money to orbitz in order for them to refund me my money, for a 2 rooms that I did not stay in. Over all it was a awful experience just by the outside over the room, It was so awful I didnt even want to step inside the rooms

The outside was painted cool with celebrities and such. The staff was rude. The hotel maid service was sloppy. I think the check in man could have been a little more nicer. He was rude when we nicely asked if we could check in early. The maid left garbage on the floor and only made one of our beds.

I should have known not to stay here once I arrived at the establisment. Upon arrival the guy at the front desk got 3 calls while I was standing there from guest that were having problems with there rooms. From the converstations one was for heater problems another was for internet problems, and I didn't catch the third conversation issue, but u could tell by the gestures of the counterguy that it was another room problem. Also had a guy come to the front desk because his room didn't have any towels. The room was another story, which had multiple issues. I had heater problems as well. The heat would blow for 1 minute and then completely cold for 5 minutes. The drapes hung low over the heating/air conditioning system blocking air flow. There were no screens on the windows and the windows were open. Probably to help get rid of the smell of the place, which was not so hot. The room had an ironing board, but no iron. I called the front desk for one and it took hours before I received it. The television channels for the most part had lots of static or just a blurry picture. House keeping was very poor. I stayed for 4 days and not once did they vaccuum the floor. The owners/staff are very rude and have very poor customer servie. I think that it is sad that we have places like this out there. It takes alot for me to complain about an establishment, but this place takes the cake. I travel on a regular basis and this place is by far the worst. I feel that I need to let people know not to waste there money on this place, no matter how cheap it is.

Days Inn Hollywood, Hollywood, Ca was just like the way I expected. The room was big enought and the personnel in the reception was very friendly. Our concern was to look around LA because it was my parents first time and we found the hottel's location was very good. However, it was hard to find the hotel. I wasnt expecting that they provide breakfast so it was a plus for us. Moreover, we were looking for tours to Universal Studios and they were also vendors with such tour companies. We could also easily find a parkin space inside their parking lot. All in all, I can tell it was a good choise to stay in such a hotel for someone looking for a cheap one.

Nothing at all. This was in a terrible location. Very dangerous. One word: terrible.

I stayed there august 20th and 21st, 2008. I woke to find a splotch on my linen. I saw a big white bug on the inside of the sheet. I pressed it, and it was full of blood. I called the health inspector, who came after i left. They called and confirmed 4 days later that the room was infested with bed bugs. They told the hotel to deinfest. I doubt they stopped checking in people. The maids were lacksadasical, and uncaring. When i arrived people were complainning of unmade beds. I was moved to another room, and had no idea how easily these things spread. When i got home i now have a bed bug bitting me and i can't find it though i am looking for them. I now have to call a specialist to get rid of it. My house is clean and i can not see any form of bed bug anywhere, but i am being bitten. When i told the fellow at the front desk he said "i dont believe you" said i had a problem and then gave me another room. I called the health inspector immediately. Since i never dealt with bed bugs before i had no idea how easily they spread, and it's going to be difficult to get rid of them.

Having never been to this area I went with a known name, and have never stayed in a days inn before, and maybe never again. We had a family emergancy at the Kaiser center, and had to stay nearby, as we live 4 hours away. I expected that a days inn would be a safe choice. I was shocked from the moment I walked into my room. The carpet was extremely dirty, the walls were dirty, and the back of the bathroom door was nasty! The phone rang like an alarm so much and no one offered to replace or fix it when we called two different times about the problem, they just said huh? we don't know why. We had to unplug to get sleep. The a/c unit made the most horrible noise and was VERY LOUD!!! The bath door just needed a wipe down, but it all just made me feel very uncomfortable in my surroundings. Did not feel relaxing at all. You didn't want to take off shoes or touch anything. The location was great, but that would be the only positive from me, oh and the small diner was EXCELLENT!! The best breakfast I ever had!! If I have to return to Hollywood again I would not stay here! I guess I expected a little more from a brand name hotel!

Right by the Greek Theatre for concerts. More food late at night. Great place to stay and if you need a cab they come quickly. Nice pool and right in front of a Ralphs and shopping area.

Person at front desk not friendly, room was not SOCLEAN!! The had it advertise coffeemaker in room-NOT ONE! NO WINDOW SCREEN ON WINDOW. In the morning went to get coffee in the office, was told it wouldnt be served till 7:00 am. For the amount of money we spent on this room, way to much!!!

There was a problen with outlets in room, one behind bed [needed to plug in charger] and it was lose and no cover on it so I didn't mess with it, they must know, just unpluged microwave and used it.

Convenient location next to Hollywood/Western metro station. Located in the Thai town without much food choices except for Thai. The room is surprisingly big and comfy given the price, totally satisfied with the location.

Minimal information and communication provided by hotel staff. Noisy in AMs due to street and traffic noise. Parking was tight on weekend days (Friday night/Saturday AM). Service for room was provided but not stellar cleanliness (marks on doors, hairs left in shower). Metro station on the corner, shopping right across the street (including a grocery) It was an "okay" hotel.

Nothing. The utilities don't work well. Heater, fridge and microwave are so old. At first, I think the location of the hotel is good, but when I went there I had to worry about the safety, because the street looks old and dirty. The utilities such as heater, fridge and microwave are so old. The first night, the heater can not provide heat air, I use 6 minutes to heat my food in the microwave.

"It appears that a lot of improvements are in place or underway. The left wing of the upstairs was obviously undergoing upgrades. There is a lot of street noise (and I was in the far back area) and ambient noise from the parking lot and other rooms. I asked to see my room before purchasing. It was good, clean, acceptable for the price. Continental breakfast: cereal, milk, donuts, bread and coffee."

The Days in was at a great location. Our first room we checked into was dirty. We ended up getting upgraded. More modern. The staff was great when it came to calling in a cab for us in a quickly manner. Would def stay there again. It had a grocery store across teh street that was open for 24hrs. Only thing that was kinda a pain was there was no soda machine on location.

Nothing! They were so rude; the place was so dirty, that we wouldn't even check in! The staff was the rudest I have ever come across, the place was dirty, and the location was terrible! The front desk staff were so rude and the rooms were so dirty, not to mention the horrendous location (used to be an "hourly" hotel for hookers before they changed it!) That I didn't even check in. We moved to another hotel immediately.

"Had funny smell, lacked iron, didn't feel clean. Staff not particularly helpful. Pretty mixed area. But grocery store across the street was nice."

the only thing that bothered me was there was no lamp just a bright ceiling light,i wanted to stay up and read but i couldent because my friend was sleeping and if i put the ceiling light on she would not be able to sleep.

Refrigerator, microwave, nice beds, and nice TV. Extremely worn and dirty carpet and walls. If they'd paint the walls and put new carpet down, I'd recommend it to friends.
