Great staff very friendly and helpful. Nice location, just an older hotel which needs a little TLC but it was clean. Pool was nice too, my daughter loved it.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was shutdown early for weekends 9:30AM. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

This hotel is in a need of major renovation. Go somewhere else, there are more nicer hotels about 2 miles north for about same price.
Date of Stay:
October, 2007
all front desk staff was very helpfull, after we long drive they take care, while we were both handicaped

The hotel room was clean enough. However, once you turned on the AC, the room smelled bad. We thought they had booked us a smoking room, and called the Front desk. They confirmed it was not a smoking room, so the room just generally didn't smell nice. The staff was nice enough, and breakfast was not too bad. But there is no hair conditioning in the bathroom, just shampoo. For its price, I think we got what we paid for. I don't think we will ever go back to this hotel.

Convenience, price and cleanliness. This hotel offered us exactly what we were looking for. A modest price, clean room, accommodating staff and very convenient for our stay in the area.

WE WENT TO HOLLAND TO DROP OFF MY DAUGHTER IN HOPE COLLEGE.DAYS INN WE STAYED BEFORE,BUT THEY ARE IMPROVING LOTS WITH HOTEL,LOOKS LIKE THEY REDONE LOBBY IS VERY NICE AND THEY HAD BRAND NEW BEDS,27"FLATE TV,NICE AND CLEAN ROOM.EVEN TOP OF THAT FRONTDESK SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT,IF I GO HOLLAND WILL STAY THERE ALL THE TIME,PRICE WAS EVEN GREAT COMPARE TO OTHER CHEAP HOTEL IN THE AREA.

I was very taken a back by the presentation of the hotel but also the staff's rudeness. I never felt more unwelcomed in a environment where I am suppose to feel comfortable and enjoy my vacation. Not only did I feel as unwelcomed, I also felt very unsafe and didn't feel comfortable walking alone in the hotel. I tried to get a refund however the Hotel refused this because I had paid through a third party.I tried to understand this and stick out for the short while I was visiting. The bedsheets had ciggerette burns, the "continental" breakfast was unedible and spoiled fruit was served. We even brought up the fact that the fruit was spoiled and yet they served it anyways the following day.The front desk clerk argued with us about the breakfast and told us " we should go eat breakfast somewhere else then." The manager stood idle while we were disrespected by the front desk clerk. We asked for the corporate offices number and was given the incorrect number. We managed to track down the right contact however we could only put in a complaint bc this site was "independently owned."The ice machine was also broken and their response was " isn't their a sign on it?"I am not the type to complain however this really put a big damper in our trip.

The free breakfast. I didn't realise that double occupancy meant only one bed. It was a fine place to stay for a night.

The most that we like about are stay it was that they were friendly staff also the rooms were always clean every day, with fresh towels, wash restrooms clean linen and I will stay there again when I ever whent back.

Very friendly staff. Needs a little updating. Overall my stay wasn't bad. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The only downfall, is the hallways smelled like smoke and old food.

Hotel was clean and nice. About what you expect when booking a hotel in this price range. The fride and microwave in rooms were nice.

Free Internet, free continental breakfast. Barebones facilities. Clean, comfortable, minimalist. It is what it is, but that is ok for what I expected. Nothing more and nothing less.
Date of Stay:

The room was Ok. The staff was very friendly. I probably would not stay here longer than one night. But it was Ok for the one night we were there. Nothing bad or wrong, I just prefer a more updated hotel.

Location was pretty good. Not clean, smelled and one of our beds felt like a rock! This hotel had a funny smell in the lobby and that also was present in the rooms! We had two full beds and one was so hard I thought it might be one of those display beds that they use to show bedding! Mold around bath fixtures, which leaked. Staff was friendly. Not a pleasant experience.

They attended to my needs very quickly. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the hotel was the smell of smoke. The host was very polite and even changed the type of room that was booked which turned out to be the best decision because my daughter ended up getting ill towards the end of the night. I called the front desk at 4 am to ask for more towels which she brought immediately. Nice hotel for the price.

Location, Friendly staff. Small Bathroom. The motel has been there for a long time. Needs a little sprucing up. Good location, easy on, easy off the main HWY.
Date of Stay:
November, 2007
The room is clean and fresh towels everyday. Some what noisy. This hotel is excellent for single business traveler.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
We didn't get robbed. Hallways and stairwells stunk awful directions to sites. The clerk that morning had no business giving directions. She truly sent us on a wild goose chase. She gave us the wrong directions to the Holland Light House. She sent us to the private local's part of the light house that would not admit visitors. We were also given the wrong directions to Windmill Island. Plus, it was before 7:00 when we were on our way to the sights. She hesitated to tell us the island did not open till 10:00. We wasted a good two and 1/2 hours trying to find both attractions. Once we did find the island we had to wait a 45 minutes in order for it to open. This did not make either of very happy.
