We just returned from our 2 night stay at this Days Inn. We were pleased with it as a budget-friendly hotel. Although the room looked "older," (cracks on the bathroom ceiling, scuffed up walls), it was clean and the beds were very comfortable (pillow top). Soundproofing is excellent, we never heard anyone around us. They have an outdoor pool that was clean with plenty of lounge chairs surrounding it. The arcade room is lame; I never saw anyone in it. The breakfast is basic (donuts, bagels). They give you free USA Today paper, and free homemade cookies (but we only saw the cookies available once). Would recommend!

Arrival was early and even though I had a reservation, I was hoping i could check in early before I went to my tournament but was told checkin is at 3. i understand that and was acceptable. I was glad the counter person allowed me to eat a quick breakfast upstairs.

Nice location and nice decor. We were given a room on the lower level, directly next to the arcade game room Fortunately for us, the night was pretty quiet.

Book a non smoking room with two double beds that included refrig/microwave. Arrived and room did not have refrig/microwave. Had printed reservation. The front desk lady told me that was not the rate for a room with two double beds and refrig/microwave even though printed reservation stated type room and price. She stated to call and get rate for that room and book on phone and not online. What??? More convenient to book online and probably cheaper. Did not get refrig/microwave til 11:30pm at night when someone could move one into room, after much complaining. Beware when staying here, you won't get what you reserved. Not worth the money either. Should be much cheaper.

The location was great, but the room was dirty. The bathroom had mildew. I would not recommend this hotel, and I will not stay here again.

The stay was OK. The cleaning people were rude but the front desk people were friendly and helpful.

I flew up to stay with my boyfriend as he is stationed nearby with the CG. My birthday was the next week, so we wanted to be near both PHF airport and Busch Gardens- boy, we picked the wrong spot. Thirty minute cab ride to BG and fourty five minute cab ride to PHF. On top of the decieving "in the middle" of everything attitude i was given over the phone, we were upset that hardly anyone was at the front desk during the night. Also, for those concerned with safety (everyone), the door from the outside to the middle corridors directly near the elevators was left unlocked all day and all night. Anyone from off the street could have come in! Breakfast in the morning was stale, cold, or generally not something you would feed your family at home--- and the coffee machine was broken (indefinitely). OKAY the WORST part of all was the most UNCOMFORTABLE BED i hace ever slept in in my life!!! I upgraded to a king suite and it still was terrible. absolutely the worst three nights i have ever paid for. Really the only thing I enjoyed was the time spent with my friends, Busch Gardens, and the small duck pond outside. Not enough to ever make me want to stay here again.

The hotel wasn't that bad. It could have been a little cleaner especially in the bathroom. The continental breakfast was awful. Not very organized. No one was there to keep things stocked and CLEANED!

We saw the less than favorable reviews before our trip...and we are happy to say we found them untrue!! The place is a great deal. Very close to area attractions and we enjoyed our stay. the only downfall was on our second day,,the breakfast room was a disaster and they were out of coffee. the room was clean, plenty of towels and plenty of space. the beds were comfortable and the noise level was minimal. we purchased our park tickets at the front desk with no problem. staff was very accomodating. pool was nice but the hot tub could have used a de-bugging. We also enjoyed having a pancake house next door and tons of info on area attractions and eating places in the lobby. Bathrooms could use a makeover,,but all in all...this is a great deal for budget conscious people who want the basics.

We first walked in and the staff was very rude, couldnt find the reservation and then sent us to another Days Inn hotel without looking at the reservation confirmation that we had with us. We had to drive to the other hotel just to be told to go back...so the guy said it was all our fault and was not in a good mood and seemed to be irritated that we were causing him to do his JOB! He was the worst staff I have ever seen at a Days Inn.

The beds were really great. The hotel was very nicely decorated for fall. This hotel was nice. This was a nice, clean hotel with great beds. The location was very convenient. You could walk (in about 20 minutes or so) to the Colonial Williamsburg area. It was walking distance to several restaurants, such as Cracker Barrel. It was very comfortable. We'd stay there again.

"this was our second trip to williamsburg. we were very disappointed the last hotel we found on internet. we saw this and hoped it would be much better. to our suprise it was perfect in most ways. it was just what we were hoping for.very roomy and great windows that open for fresh air, which is hard to find.staff was great. breakfast was simple but filling.only improvement would be updating the bathrooms. very quiet and peaceful. we were very pleased and would stay there again.just avoid the timeshare reps. in the lobby!"

The rate we got was really great, but the hotel seems to be very dated and not very clean. Our room was vacuumed each day and towels were changed out, but we could tell the bathroom had not been cleaned each day. The hotel was quiet and that was a welcome change. Overall we'd say the stay was adequate, we were located near everything (historic triangle, Busch Gardens, shopping, etc.) but they definitely need to do some cosmetic work on the hotel and do better with cleaning.

Lovely entrance with porch & plants, cozy lobby. Bathroom seemed dingy. Convenient distance from College and Colonial District, quiet and fine.

"The room was filthy with grime, rust, mold, and dirt. It is an unacceptable room on all counts."

The hotel is located in a good location, has a nice pool area and the beds are comfortable. But, the shower and room were dirty and voices can be heard through the door from the hallway and between the walls. The room was a little run down and in need of attention.

Location. Breakfast room was too small. Relatively old hotel. The room in which the continental breakfast was served was too small to accommodate the number of people. That made it unpleasant.

"The front desk management was disorganized when we arrived, and they at first checked us into a room that had clearly not been made up (dirty towels strewn about, etc.). They also quibbled with my credit card number, even though the room was prepaid. Besides these problems, the physical plant in general seemed neglected. "

The hotel was ok for a one/two night stay. The door of the room was barely secure. The towels were rather worn. The hall way was not cleaned during the weekend. The hotel clerk did not seem to know anything about Williamsburg, VA. I would not stay here again. It was just not very clean, It seems to be a rather old hotel and needs some major upgrades.
