The room was OK for the price. It was pretty standard as hotel rooms go. I only had one major complaint - they kept the hot water heater at a low temperature. I like a hot shower and The Days Inn didn't deliver. There were several restaurants close by - unfortunately we chose to go into Hendersonville via a taxi. The city sets the taxi rates and the fares are based on a timer rather than distance. (We spent a several dollars just sitting at red lights!) It took 40 minutes to get a taxi and we were never picked up to get back to our hotel, so we ended up hiking almost 3 miles after dark in a small town with minimal sidewalks.

Good location, clean, management was very cordial. Had to change rooms due to strong odor in first room assigned. Not smoking odor but something else. For our purpose, it was great. Good price and location.

The first room we were assigned had a very strong ODOR - *Cleaning Fluids??) We requested another room. The next room was OK until the TOILET would not flush. Called desk and an emplpyee was semt. The employee did not speak English. Took her to the bathroom and attempted to show her the problem. She left and bought a plunger, handed it to me and left. I took care of the problem. The shower, bath tub did not drain properly and advised the office and that the toilet still flushed very slowly. We stayed at this location because we had other relatives at this motel also. We then went to a Days Inn in Elizabeth City, NC. The paint on the roof was pealing, a couple cars parked in the parking lot were in poor repair. The chair the office person was setting in was worn out. We canceled our reservations and went next door to a Holiday Inn.

The Days Inn Hendersonville....Check-In went very smoothly. The desk clerk was very pleasant and very accommodating to senior visitors, placing us nearby the office. The free continental breakfast was managed very well. It appears cleanliness is a priority. The hotel location is only a short drive to historical downtown Hendersonville. There are many stores and restaurants close by. There is also a gas station within a short distance to the location. As I did not observe a playground or pool, this location might not be favorable to young familes with children. Check-out also went very smoothly. All hotel personnel were very friendly and accommodating.

Very convenient location. Right off the highway. Mold on the walls in the bathroom and there was no pool. This hotel was fine for just an overnight stay. The location was good because it is right off the highway and down the road from the mall. The room was clean overall, but there was a lot of mold on the walls in the bathroom. I was disappointed that there is no pool, but we were just there for one night so it didn't wasn't that important.

Front desk staff great to work with. Housekeeping, light breakfast. Housekeeping needs some improvement. Room not completely vacuumed. Light breakfast needs a little addition, not on a par with other places I have stayed. Front desk staff is great to work and help you out.

I can't think of a thing. Everything. It was terrible. Like Something out of a movie: peeling wallpaper, cracked floor tiles, stained carpet, a horrendous smell and windows that didn't open so you couldn't even air it out. There was no hot water, and the maids refused to allow me to sleep. Not to mention the fact, that after I returned home and realized I had forgotten some things at the establishment, I was met by a rude manager who refused to even gather my belongings and set them aside for me when I called. I'm still unsure of what all I left behind!

Clean, comfortable, convenient to major highway, would stay there again. Did not like the surroundings. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but did not like the outside location. Near highway exit was a plus.

Provided request of ground floor and non-smoking. Room smelled clean. Good location. Shower curtain was mildewed. Good value, good location, nice place to stay while traveling through the mountains. Near many restaurants and only few miles away from Chimney Rock.

Convenient location for our needs. The room smelled funky and wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Staff did not provide a "do not disturb" sign and cleaning staff did not speak English, so they woke us repeatedly the first morning although we asked them not to disturb us. Room smelled as if a drunk had slept there before us - that odor did not go away.

Price. Room smelled of smoke. Would not change to non-smoking room. About what I expected for a 1 star hotel.

The room was comfortable and there were extra pillows on the bed. Clean, nice staff. When hair dryer failed a maid replaced it with one that worked immediately. It was easy to find near the expressway exit.

It was a good location and cheap. No frills. It was kind of dated. This hotel worked fine for my girlfriend and me. We took a spur of the moment trip to the mountains and we were just looking for a place to sleep. It was fine for that purpose. The room was clean, but smelled old and looked a little dated. If you are concerned with appearance of your room, you may look elsewhere. If you just want a place to sleep like us, then this is a good deal.
