I came before the check-in time. The desk attendant went out of his way to find me a room. I thought that was excellent service.

The staff was excellent and very accommodating! We didn't use the pool because it was dirty. Overall, a wonderful experience. Thanks!

When I walked into the room the light would not work when the switch was turned on. The electric outlet at the table would not work. The air conditioner sounded like a airplane taking off. The wireless internet would not connect while the air conditioner as running. When I tried to use the outlet behind the bed due to the outlet by the table not working I found that the outlet was falling out of the wall. The remote for the TV did not work and the bathtub did not have a stopper for the drain. The drawer in the night stand by the bed was falling apart. I paid (not sure of the exact amount) almost $70.00 this night. When I was checking out the front desk clerk could not understand me and did not ask if my stay was a good one. The clerk did not speak much English. I made a complaint to the corporate office but have not heard from the independent owner yet. My complaint was made 3 or 4 days after I returned home.

The hotel was in a great location. You had Wal-Mart, alot of different restaurants, and gas stations within a few blocks. It wasn't that far from the beach. The room was very spacious except the bathroom. We did have some problems with roaches.

A/Cbroke in both rooms told staff they installed new ones one still didn't work. Staff was not cooperative in any way with the rooms when theAC broke. The staff didn't understand much English. TheAC broke in both rooms they put brand new ones in and when one didn't work in one room, the staff got rude.I will never use this hotel again.

when I arrived people were grilling in the walkway , I had to step around a Grill people drinking out in public...did not know that a open flame was allowed at a hotel...but people were doing this ....the room went we arrived was hot air was not on...the rate we paid was great over all the stay was OK....room was clean toilet did not flush well. I prob will not stay at this location again if i have my choice in the matter. thanks

Not too bad for the money, and if you don't mind trying to sleep in the heat because the a/c doesn't work properly or the tons of roaches crawling everywhere, this could be the right hotel for you.
Date of Stay:
February, 2009
Nothing. Dirty, roaches and unfriendly staff. Roaches in first room, mold growing on fixtures in second room. Would never stay their again.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
I did not feel the carpet was clean. I also found beetles in my room. Don't dare try to get a coninental breakfast after 9a.m. refrigerator and microwave were nice touches.

The staff was very friendly. I appreciated that. The staff was very friendly. The room was a bit old fashioned and out of date (the bedspreads specifically). It was in a great location andI was disappointed that itwas not across the street from the ocean.Overall, I was very satisfied with our stay.

Me and my family went to the Crawfish festival in April. I know that Hurricane Katrina hadcame through about a year and a half before but there was no excuse. I was affected by the storm but I mangaged to go there for a good time. The A/C did not work (had to go buy a fan), the cleaning lady put a dirty pillow case back on the pillow that we took off, and the bath room was not stocked with towels or tolet paper. We had to go get them ourselves. I will never stay in a Days Inn ever again. Even if it was the last hotel around. I would rather stay in my car to sleep and go the bathroom at a rest stop or truck stop. I will NOT recomand this hotel or any Days Inn to my family and friends. I was not impressed at all.

just a hotel. nothing special

Beds comfortable. Furniture falling part, main door hard to lock. Hotel was mainly filled with extended stay construction workers, parking lot full of construction trailers and such. Not much room to park. Pool area was a joke.

"Staff was courteous, and the rooms were fine, except they needed to be cleaned better. There was mold on the shower curtain, and a musty smell in the room. "
Date of Stay:

Rooms were poorly kept and not clean. One of two rooms had a none functioning smoke detector. The "In Room Safe" had no way to lock. The carpets needed a good vacuuming not to mention a good shampooing. minimal worn towels. most lights and appliances in the rooms were unplugged. Refrigerator was defrosted and slimy. In room air conditioner was set to low heat when ambient outside temperatures were in the 70's.

Very little. Roaches, and buckled ceiling. Fair warning. This is not the typical Days Inn - economy stay. We stayed one night on business, and would never go back. We rode a dirty elevator to the 2nd floor, and located our dirty room. The first glance revealed the ant traps in the tiny bathroom which were apparently for the cockroaches that we noted on the floor, the sink, and the walls near the bed. The ceiling was sagging, and needed repair. We would have asked for a room change, but we were afraid it could get worse. Pay the extra money for a cleaner hotel, I know I will.

We enjoyed our stay, the first night the pool was a bit dirty but the staff was up cleaning it the next morning and the cleaning staff was always friendly and helpful. our room was clean and quiet. We would stay there again anytime.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
I liked how the hotel was down the street from everything. I think that the room was not sound proofed enough. The air conditioning in our room was out when we got there but the hotel maintenance man replaced the entire unit as soon as we mentioned the problem. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Somewhat comfortable rooms, however was dissapointed in the so called hot tub that I paid extra for. Not very big to start with. Very little selection for the continental breakfast, so plan to get your breakfast elsewhere. I would suggest the IHOP across the street. Parking lot small, so difficult to find parking space. However rooms were clean and lots of space. Staff was friendly and helpful.
