Probably the best value in the Great Barrington area. Walk to everything, especially some really nice restaurants.

Close to the shopping center. Too expensive. It wasn't pretty at shown in the picture!!

Our room was spider and flea infested. We spent the first 20 minutes killing all the spiders and cleaning up webs stringing the ceilings above the beds. No fitted sheet on mattress, just flat that didn't cover it. Decrepit Blankets. Location is great & Its very quiet on the plus side.

After a 5 hour drive we stopped in to Great Barrington MA and were immediately disappointed to see that the hotel had room doors that opened to the outside. The lobby was awash with a group of unhappy guests who were haggling on room charges they wanted to have removed from their bills and when we got our hotel keys (no where to sit and after waiting another 15 minutes) we scrambled to the rooms only to find that the comforters were stained, the rooms smelled like mold and the whole 'feel' was from a bad 70's movie. We immediately checked out. A much cleaner, brighter, newer and ultimately safer choice. The only saving grace was that the staff seemed genuinely nice and acted almost embarassed at the condition of the hotel in which they were employed.

It was nice having it close to downtown. It wasn't as clean as I expected it to be. The front desk staff was courteous I liked the proximity of the hotel to downtown. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It wasn't as clean as other Days Inns that I've stayed at in the past. I thought that it was pretty pricey for what I received. I wasn't happy about the fact that the parking space in front of my room was taken over by someone else's car when my wife and I returned from being out for the evening.

The Great Barrington Days Inn is a basic motel but clean, neat, well maintained and nicely located. On our very hot, humid weekend, the A.C worked efficiently and quietly.The personnel were pleasant, and we found this place to be a good value in the expensive Tanglewood season.
