Overall, it's a good hotel.

Good location. TV was not clear, bathroom fan did not work. It was OK - beds were old and spreads looked old. Bathroom fan did not work. Hotel was just adequate - have stayed in much better for less and we travel a lot. TV must break a lot as there was a maintenance agreement to fill out on top of it.

Our T.V. didn't work, called down to front desk, they never did fix it. Bathroom had mold all over the handle in shower. Broken tiles, filthy. Was not scrubbed by any means. Stains all over floor. Smelled like urine in the bathroom. We will never stay here again. Will definitely warn people about this hotel. What a nightmare.

We went to the Tulip Time festival in Holland, MI about 20 miles from this hotel. We needed a place to spend the late afternoon and the night. The hotel was clean and quiet, but on the busy street with lots of stores and restaurants. According to the map, the lakefront marina was just a couple of mile away. We loved the pool, it was clean and the water was very warm. Also, it was open until 11 PM, which was nice. The continental breakfast was usual, nothing special: cereals, milk, bagels and muffins, juice and coffe. The room was clean and a good size. There is a restarant joining hotel, and it seemed more like a bar/grill then a family kind of place. The only thing I missed was wireless connection.

The pool area was very nice and location was great. No elevators, beds were very squeaky and very uncomfortable, alternate exterior stairs were falling apart and not safe. Several years ago I stayed in this hotel and it was one of the nicest in the area, from what I could tell they haven't made any improvements for at least 10 years. The room was in terrible condition (mold, wallpaper peeling, squeaky uncomfortable beds, and no hot water at times). The indoor pool was very nice.

Contrary to what we read this hotel is very clean, up-to-date, etc. We enjoyed our visit.

I took my two daughters with me (ages 6 and 12) for a trip to see relatives as well as Lake Michigan. Everything about our hotel stay was pleasurable, from check-in to check-out. The kids LOVED the pool/hot tub area, which was very clean and well stocked despite being very busy with other guests. The room was very spacious, and both double beds were supportive yet very comfortable. The room was very clean, satellite TV worked well, and the bathroom was spotless! The hotel staff was outstanding! Check-in was quick and friendly, and the room was ready. Staff even suggested several area activities (Michigan Adventure amusement park and Craig's Cruisers go-cart facility) as well as local points of interests. The morning free breakfast was very nice, and included items such as toast, waffles, cereal, coffee cake, fresh fruits and juice. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the dining area was quaint yet well appointed. Check-out was effortless. A summarized bill was slid under the door the morning of our check-out, allowing me to simply sign and drive from the facility. I opted however to persue the traditional check-out down at the lobby, so I could once again thank the staff for a very enjoyable stay. I would definately recommend this facility if you are in the Muskegon or Spring Lake, MI area. There is a Damon's Restaurant attached to the hotel, as well as several restaurants within a short walk down the strip outside the hotel.

Good location. Noisy air conditioner, old carpets, needs paint. Offers a great location, but lacks in real away from home comfort. Breakfast was ok, room for improvement.

Our room was very OUT-dated. Stains on the carpet....floor squeaked...beds squeaked. Try to stay on the first floor. They do have wireless internet which is a plus.

The bed was not comfortable and made it difficult to sleep. There was ample space and a couch. I recommend against getting the handicap accessible room unless you really need it. There was no closet and no counter in the bathroom. And if you don't use the safe, be sure to ask to get your bill corrected -- they charge you around $2 for using the safe even if they have no proof that you did.

Very clean. Continental breakfast was a little lacking/staff didn't keep up. Great location, clean hotel, professional staff. Breakfast area was a little small and staff in area didn't keep breakfast supplies stocked very well.

The staff at the Days Inn in Grand Haven is awesome. Is it a pleasant place to stay. The location is great. It is only a few blocks from the boardwalk. The pool area is very nice with lots of windows. The breakfast could have offered more choices, but it was adequate. Nicely lighted, large parking lot in the front of the hotel.

Staff was helpful and courteous. Musty odor in the bathroom. Good location and friendly staff, continental breakfast was good. Musty odor in the bathroom was the only negative.

Clean, convenient, pool. I was bothered by the broken back metal on the step we used to get to our room. I was disappointed that the internet access didn't reach our room in the back. The condition of the back stairs were a negative but the room was small but sufficient.

Good location. Only part of the staff seemed friendly. Grand Haven is a great city to visit any time of the year and this location is very nice. It is nice to have a continental breakfast included in the room rate.

Nice pool and nice set up. No elevator. I liked the hotel; it was close to the places that we explored. What was different was you could turn left out of the hotel, you just could turn right and we had to go all the way around but that's okay too.

Nothing. No elevator! Noise all night! Mold in bathroom! They kept charging us, still not resolved. No elevator! Noise all night! Mold in bathroom! Breakfast was a joke, don't expect much. Room TV was a small 19 inch screen. Think twice before using this place.

Nice pool area. Hot tub was out of order. I would stay again.

It did have a great pool/ recreation area. Room door was in disrepair, room/hallway smelled like funky locker room/rotten something. This hotel should be a ten. It has a convenient location to downtown Grand Haven and the waterfront. I believe in the summer a trolley stops there so you wont have to drive to the beach where there is limited parking. I was there at the end of the summer season so maybe they just needed to strip the rooms and halls bare of the existing carpet after the volume of business Grand Haven sees in the summer.
