We stayed at the Days Inn because it was next to Graceland. Even though the location wasn't great we never had a problem but due to the area we only left the motel to visit Graceland then we left, we never strayed away to sight see. We walked to Graceland and nearby shoppes. It is a very busy tourist area with lots of people walking the shoppes. Days Inn had a great breakfast and at our stay there were lots of people staying there. Staff was friendly and it had everything that the motel listed so no false advertising.

I liked the elvis decor, its walking distance to Graceland, most of the staff were friendly. Beds were uncomfortable, toilet barely flushed. It was close to Graceland but not much else.

Great hotel for the price, the Elvis theme is fun. The main focus of our trip was Graceland and the hotel is perfect, right across the street. My only complaint is that the pool was empty as it had just been painted, but it was raining for most if the stay so we would have been only able to use it on 1 afternoon.

Overall, if its Graceland and the museums associated with that you're interested in this was a good choice. If you intend on spending more of your time on Beale street and that area its probably better to stay in a hotel in town. The hotel was kept very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The king size bed was very comfortable.

We went there to visit Memphis and be close to Graceland. The motel was close to Graceland. The staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee pot in the lobby had no coffee and the one in the room only made one cup at a time. (There were only 2 pkgs of coffee)

The location was perfect. The hotel itself was not very clean. There was one problem to this hotel and that was walking distance to Graceland. It was also nice that they let us leave our car in their parking lot rather than pay the fee for Graceland parking. The staff was friendly. The room was very dirty though. There was also no place to go for breakfast.

Our stay here was amazing. The staff is so courteous and professional. We are going back in 2 months and will be staying here again. We are recommending this hotel to all our friends.

My friend and I stayed here this past weekend. The staff was great, and the room was extremely clean. It's the best quality I've had in that price range- ever. The only problem we had was some unruly college-aged visitors upstairs that were loud and disrepectful. We complained to the front desk, and they did what they could to take care of it pretty much immediately. That was the only bad part of the trip. If it weren't for those people and the noise issue, I would have been 100% satisfied.

The room was clean, staff friendly. We had traveled all night and could not check in until 1:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am and that isn't even 24 hours. I think this is wrong. I think that when you explain that you have traveled all night, special provisions should be made. We had to stay in the park and at the mall until check in time. Not enough towels in the room, also.

Breakfast was good. This was a very basic hotel. The beds were uncomfortable and the towels were thin. The staff was friendly, but the overall comfort of the hotel was poor.

I would recommend this hotel anytime. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the service was good. I was in Memphis for business for 2 days and I found the hotel is located conveniently off the highway and right next to Graceland, if that's your thing. I will be staying there again when I'm back in Memphis for sure.

We've stayed at several hotels just like this one, but never as good quality as this one. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. My wife was 7 months pregnant and I have chronic back and shoulder aches from years of sports, but after 2 nights in that bed, we both felt young and rejuvenated again. The bathtub had jacuzzi jets which were completely unexpected and the continental breakfast that I expected to be a couple of stale danishes and donuts, turned out to be cinnamon rolls, cereal, waffles, and a large variety of juices, coffee, tea, etc. The only problem we had with our stay was no fault of the hotel. Our next door neighbors were up all night and extremely noisy, but again, especially since we were too tired and comfy in our bed, we did not report it and, so, this cannot be held against the hotel. If you're visiting Graceland, you can just walk from the hotel as it is only a few hundred feet, making the location as desirable as the hotel itself. For anyone traveling to Memphis on a budget, I highly recommend this hotel, where you will get a 4 star stay for a 2 star price.

Hotel is walking distance from Graceland. Marlows restaraunt picked us up in a pink cadilac limo you have to try the ribs no matter the price they are worth it. Room was comfortable but I noticed when I dropped something on the floor in the bathroom it looked like no one had cleaned the toilet base for a while. There was old hair and urine around the base and it was not new. Other then that I can only tell myself the rest of the room was ok and I did not think about it. Breakfast was great staff was nice. I only got asked for money from one homeless guy not bad for downtown Memphis. Price and location you cannot beat and it is worth what you pay. I would recommend to friend without OCD. Elvis memorabilia was ok but not original just a bunch of pictures maybe printed off internet and framed on wall. I had a great time however I say stay here.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the guitar shaped pool, and that is not even pretty. Location did not feel safe, room was dirty, staff is not friendly and bed was just as good as sleeping on a hard floor. Almost every business around the hotel has bars on the windows or doors, and the hotel lobby locked shortly after dark. In other words, we did not feel safe. The room was a little dirty, but you can expect that from a one-star hotel. Also, the room had a funky smell, and it got worse when we turned the heater on. The beds were equivalent to sleeping on rocks. Just expected more for a hotel located so close to Graceland.

I thought the room was very nice, and the location to GraceLand couldn't be better. I had no complaints at all. they played Elvis music on a loud speaker, which was nice. and the Lobby was very welcoming, and pleasent. would do it again. for the price couldn't beat it.

We found the Days Inn to be great value for money. You get what you pay for. I would advise anyone that Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel would be my number one choice to stay in, but you have to book well in advance to get a room there. If you stay at the Days Inn you must check out the guitar shaped pool. The Days Inn is a haven for Elvis Presley Fans.More expensive but better neighborhoods can be found downtown. The Peabody Hotel is the ideal place to stay if you are looking for a downtown reservation.

Hotel was indeed in a great location within in walking distance of Elvis! Staff was friendly. Breakfast dining space was limited...Pool was dirty. We noticed pool was finally being vacuumed the last day of our stay. Unable to print out boarding pass for us at front desk. Most hotels we stayed at are able to accomodate this.

Convenient to local attractions; clean rooms; comfortable beds. Thin towels. I was a little nervous about this hotel due to its proximity to Graceland (not in the best neighborhood) but I really enjoyed my stay and never felt unsafe. The room was very clean and comfortable although the towels were pretty old and thin. The Elvis memorabilia and Elvis channels were great and just added to the fun of being at Graceland.

Our family of four spent three days in Memphis, and were very satisfied with Days Inn Graceland. The hotel is literally one block from Graceland, and there is a souvenir shop next door. The staff was very friendly and willing to help - we had only one minor problem with a room key at the end of the stay, and it was fixed immediately. You could occasionally smell cigarette smoke outdoors, but our room smelled clean, and we never were disturbed by any other guests making noise. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use the pool - but it looked well maintained. The continental breakfast was standard fare, but no complaints here - we knew what to expect. (My only complaint? Please serve real butter, not the fake stuff in a plastic bottle.) We were surprised that free wi-fi Internet was included - we did not think this was included in our package. There is plenty of shopping and fast food in the area, and the hotel is about seven miles away from downtown Memphis. We hope to return to Memphis again soon, and would not hesitate to book our stay at Days Inn again!
