This hotel is just three miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and seven miles from Dollywood. (The inn offers discount tickets to Dollywood.) Crossroads Mall is within walking distance from the Days Inn Gatlinburg, and less than a mile from Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum.
The hotel is 44 miles from McGhee Tyson Airport. The Days Inn Gatlinburg is close to the trolley stop. Parking is available at this hotel at no charge for guests.
The rooms are stocked with microwave ovens, small refrigerators, coffee makers, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, and 27 inch cable televisions. All rooms at the Days Inn Gatlinburg offer private balconies with views of the river.
Guests can look forward to the outdoor heated pool and hot tub at this inn. The Days Inn Gatlinburg has meeting space that can accommodate 40 people. Sorry, pets are not allowed. the hotel is clean, comfortable beds and pillows, sounds of the river are restful, the only gripe we have is NO CABLE TV!! staff mentioned to us that they have had quite a few complaints about this

Nice views, clean, good location, & helpful staff. I stayed at the Days Inn over my spring break. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was very accommodating. Unfortunately when I visited the pool looked like it could use a good draining. Well it had a hot tub, but it was disgusting and waterless, so nevertheless we could not use it. On the positive side our room had a nice balcony with great views. The shower stayed hot for hours.

they charge my card twice and it took me 4 days to get my money back.we had to check in at a motel call rocky waters inn. before we went to days-inn no one told us that until my 10th phone call to them when we could not find the motel because the motel dont't have a sign lit. it is small and dark the rooms are nasty

Very nice room. right down town which was nice. walk distance to many things. We couldn't get the fireplace lit at all which was disappointing.

What a nice surprise! Great location, clean rooms and fantastic private balcony overlooking the river. We could literally hear the rush of the river all night. It was great! Nice to have refrigerator, microwave and coffee-maker as standard too. Trolley stop right on property. Walked to aquarium and Hard Rock Cafe. Unique and fun, not ""chain like!""

We were very disappointed in the facility. We requested and received a smoking room, but a smoking room doesn't have to be nasty. The carpet had several large holes burnt in it. The walls had holes in them. The upholstery on the furniture was dirty. The faucet on the bathroom sink didn't extend out far enough to put your hands under and ran constantly. The sheets on the bed didn't smell clean. On the other hand, the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the location was close to downtown Gatlinburg, but we would never use this facility again.

We liked the view of the water. Needs updating. It met our needs of economy and location perfectly. We were there for a short weekend getaway and it did fine for sleeping and lounging. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked. The view and sound of the river all night was spectacular. It could use a little modernizing of the decor and room itself, but it was suitable.

On the plus side, the balcony faced the river, which was very nice. The room was average in cleanliness, comfort, amenities. On the negative side, it is behind other properties, so you must drive around back to get to your room. Also, we checked in that evening, so there was a sign directing us to a different office a block or so away. It was a little confusing.

The front desk staff was warm and friendly and the room was equipped with microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The only downside to this hotel is that they didn't offer coffee in the lobby during the day which would have been a nice treat for us. We would stay at this hotel again. Clean rooms and friendly front desk. Nice continental breakfast. A great start to the day!

The staff was friendly, and were helpful when we were lost and trying to find the hotel. The pool needed some cleaning and the room was ok. It was a little bit more of a walk to downtown then what i was expecting. All and all it was an average hotel.

My room was located over the river - very peaceful sound. I was pleased with the accommodations at this hotel. While washing a load of clothes, I was able to sit outside and listen to the river. The river sound was also very peaceful to listen to at night as well. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. It was close to a local restaurant. I was able to walk to and from the restaurant.

It was really a nice place to stay. Very friendly staff. Pool and hot tub were nice. Room had balcony that overlooked the river...Only thing that was sort of odd to me was the bathroom being right there when you first walk in, other than that everything was perfect!

Proximity to attractions. Hot tub wasbroken. Scenic view. Close to attractions. Friendly staff. Very quiet, even though the motel was full we never heard a peep from another guest.

The Days Inn Gatlinburg On The River is an economical, family friendly place to stay. The room was a good size for a long weekend trip. The view of the river from the balcony was beautiful and relaxing. I also enjoyed the fact the this hotel is in walking distance from downtown, but is located in a quiet,not as developed area. The only thing that I was a little disappointed in was the size of the bathroom area. Definitely an area for one person to get ready. Overall, this was a clean, confortable place to stay. I would recommend it for a long weekend trip.

Overlooking the river was my favorite part. I will be staying again at this hotel in the future. It was clean, the staff was great and the location was great. Over all this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. The value was terrific.
