This hotel should be closed until changes are made. The carpet was filfthy and stained; roaches were in the sink as well as on the bed. I was afraid to use the shower/tub as mildew was visible to the eye. After traveling all day, I was forced to go to bed (which I covered with my clothes)without being able to shower. I seriously considered looking for another hotel, but since it was late, I did not think that I would have any success finding another place to stay for the night. The outer stairwell showed no signs of having been cleaned that day and had cigarettes strewn about the balcony. Since the lock on the door wasn't secure, I was concerned about my safety, and slept sparingly. Because I really needed to rest before the last leg of my journey, I stayed. It was a terrible, horrendous sleeping arrangement!

Convenient to I-75. Chain locks were missing and because I arrived after 11 pm - I was not allowed in the lobby - I had to fumble through my purse outside of the check-in.

My family and I made the mistake of staying here during a recent trip to Florida. This hotel has been ridden hard and put away wet. First room was disgusting...dirt everywhere, dried beer on the furniture, bugs, the whole nine yards. Staff agreed to let us move to another room that was marginally acceptable. Bottom line is: This is a college hotel that is in awful upkeep...stay somewhere further down the road.

The staff was professional and friendly. The coffee maker in my room was broken. I called the front desk and within 5 minutes they delivered another one to my room. The maid even remembered me from my last visit. The pool is large and situated in a pretty courtyard. My only criticism is breakfast ends at 9 am. I would like it extended to 10 am.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. They were doing renovations which is a good thing. This hotel was perfect for me and my husband because we weren't staying long. On this trip all we wanted was a place to lay our head for a night not live for a couple of days. All and all it was a very nice hotel.

This Inn is very dirty and unkempt. Fixtures are falling off walls, carpets are wet and dirt can be seen along every wall and corner. ant piles can be found behind doors.Beds are uncomfortable and squeaky. Linens including towels are stained and of poor quality. Security is nonexistent. Doors barely lock, deadbolts don't work. Awoke with bedbugs crawling on body! Don't waste your stay here!

The room appeared to have never been cleaned. The bathroom was disgusting with mold growing and dirt and grime on the floor. We refused to use the shower.The carpet was dirty as well. The room smelled of mold by the a/c before you entered and worse inside.I have never stayed in a dirtier place. Furniture and bedding was adequate.Location was fine.

I liked the convenience of the continental breakfast. The breakfast was the same and a little lacking. I enjoyed the stay but I should have stayed at another Days Inn closer to my week's destination during the day.

The first room we were assigned had a leaking pipe under the bathroom sink. A waste basket was placed under it and had overflowed. The carpet was wet, moldy, and room stunk. Unbelieveable it was left this way, and the desk clerk said he didn't know it was unusable. The next room we got had a musty smell and mold inside the coffeemaker. The carpeting was well worn. The shower and toilet room was reasonably clean. This is an old, beat-up motel. I'm sure it has seen much wear and tear. Since it is close to the U of Florida and right next to I-75, it probably makes money charging high rates during U events, and renting to price conscious transients and temporary workers in the area otherwise. The complimentary breakfast had minimal offerings with just some tables and chairs in the front of the building, which doubled as a storage area. If all you need is a cheap bed for the night, that's what you'll get.

Otherwise this hotel has a good location and met my needs. Overall this Days Inn met my expectaions but would have wished to have had refrigerator/microwave in our rooms. My room was kept clean everyday without a problem. One thing that seemed to bother me was that thevery old chain link fence that at one time years that surrounded some of the parking lot is left in disrepair at best so will help create a safey issue/also an electrical shock hazzard exist outside the front of roomdue to above room air conditioner unit dripping condensation water onto a live electrical junction box below and this water can be easlily stepped into by any customer that could cause a person to shocked or killed if water comes into contact with live wires as it now exist.

This hotel was booked as a last resort and should be. The rooms were dirty, smelled of smoke even though they said it was a non-smoking room, the beds were VERY uncomfortable. Do not say here

The manager was nice. The poor condition of the hotel and price. The location of the hotel is excellent. The staff very nice. The condition of the hotel is the pits. I stayed in a non-smoking room that had obviously been a smoking room. The air smelled like stall smoke. The room was old. The toliet was hard to flush. The room did not seem clean. The sheets smelled unclean.

After reading a couple of the reviews I at first hesitated about booking there. However, I am on a budget and their rates were 21 - 45 lower than any of the other area motels. Room was clean. Bathrooms are definitely older but clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was simple but fresh & had everything I wanted to get me going. "

Best hotel we've stayed at in the Gville aqrea in 6 years. Complimentary breakfast was marginal. We've stayed in some real roach motels in the gville area over the time my sons have been in college there and this was the best for the money so far. If the prices don't go up drasticly we'll stay there many more times.

Allowed tomove to a room with working AC. AC did not work and maintenance could not fix. AC clearly was not working; room hot and musty smell. No ventilation for bathroom. Maintenance person said AC was working best. Desk clerk allowed room change for the second night of stay.

There were cockroches all over the room they were crawling in the bed in our shoes i was very nasty. I will never stay in other Days Inn again.
