Not a bad deal although bed was not the most comfortable. Room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice feature was a picnic table and grills on the grounds. Close to several restaurants and shopping. Near thruway so easy to find.

Convenient location near SUNY Fredonia. Old, decrepit, shoddy pool and worn out facilities. Threadbare sheets and blankets! No towels at pool. Wouldn't be bad if it was renovated/upgraded - new paint, carpets etc. Definitely need new linens. I have never seen such threadbare worn out sheets and blankets. That is not a big expense for a motel to replace linens but it definitely detracts from the visitors comfort and satisfaction if they don't.

I am sorry to say it but I was very disappointed. We booked two stays. After the first stay I tried to get into another hotel but they were all full so we spent another night. The front desk questioned us about payment, fortunately I brought my confirmation. The rooms were not as clean as I would like. On both occasions thhere was hair in the tub. On our second visit I called to get an iron and an ironing board and was told to come down and get it. Also our room was never cleaned. We left our room at 8:30 am and returned at 4 to find it hadn't been cleaned. When we called the front desk they informed as that everyone went home and it wouldn't be cleaned. I needed to go to the front desk to get clean towels. On my next visit to Fredonia to see my daughter, a college student, I will pay a bit more and stay in a nicer place. PS: I booked my room 1 month in advance and it cost approx. $*. People arriving the same day were paying $*. What a rip-off.

while traveling with family we stayed here BAD CHOICE... DESK CLERKS WERE RUDE WHEN WE ASKED FOR EXTRA TOWELS. POOL LOOKED AS THOUGH IT HASN'T BEEN TREATED WITH CHEMICALS IN A LONG TIME. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FAMILY WITH CHILDREN. KINDA PASS THE BUCK ATTITUDE....

The Days Inn at Fredonia is a pretty decent value hotel. Their restaurant served excellent food that is very affordable and they offered a really great breakfast that is included in the price of the room. The room was large and comfortable, however, the air conditioning kept going off during the night and I had to play with the switches to get it back on. My one beef is the carpeting. Some of the hallways had a musky smell from them, they should either replace them or clean them better. All in all a good value for the money.

Common space was nice, good parking. Beds were old, sheets were stained, flies in room. Will never stay there again. I slept with the lights on afraid of bugs.

Very musty smell, not fit for a family with kids, should have paid the extra 20 to saty at a nice place

The Fredonia Days Inn was nothing Fancy. It was clean however the Motel needs a major remodeling. It was conveniently located and the rooms were quiet. There was a restaurant on site which we did not use. The indoor pool was musty and looked green.

Room was clean, liked having picnic tables. Bathrooms weretoo small. Great area, lots of things to do close by, good shopping, good choice of restaurants, near Lake Erie, short drive to Chautauqua Lake, easy drive to Jamestown. Lobby is very pretty, breakfast was tasty if not especially nourishing, nice to have coffee in the lobby whenever. Beds were comfy, and towels were nice and soft.

Arrived for a weekend fishing trip and stayed for two nights. This was the cheapest hotel in the area and it showed. It met our basic needs of a place to sleep but everything there seemed pretty old. The TV in the room must have been 25 years old and the cable was extremly snowy, so much so that you could not watch most channels. Security of this hotel seemed poor at best as all outside side doors were always unlocked and did not require a key to enter. This hotel is pretty run down looking compared to the other hotels in the area also. I will be checking the other hotels out in the area for future trips.

The room was clean. The hotel desk staff were less than completely cordial.

I checked into this hotel after 12 hours on the road, driving from Raleigh NC to Toronto. I checked in and went to look for my room. The musty stink was all through the halls and when I opened the door it looked as though someone had already used the bed. All fixtures, tiles, furniture, beds carpets, light switches had to be in the area of 50 years old.The smell is bad enough but the room looked like the set of a horror movie. Run when you see the Days Inn name. They have no idea what they are putting their name on.

Rooms smell of musky odor flies in rooms. Room reeked from musky odor, carpets were moist and small flies were all over the room, complained to front desk and were given another room which still had smell but not as bad.
Date of Stay:
March, 2008
Easy check out. Pool was closed, toilet would not flush. One of the reasons I choose this hotel was for a pool. I did not find out until I was at the front desk that the pool was "closed for maintenances". Generally, the free traveler breakfast was okay despite the fact that the waffle maker was encrusted beyond use and in a comic moment, one single flake of orange pulp came out of the orange juice dispenser with a clear liquid - a hotel staff member quickly placed a out of order sign on it when she heard me giggle.

Location. Old and smoke smell need major remodel. Not a good deal for the price paid. Hotel has good location but substandard for the price.

Quiet pleasant. Everything was just fine. I would recommend to anybody that needs to travel to stay there.
