We went with a cheaper hotel with the idea that we would prefer to spend money on entertainment. We were happy with our choice. The hotel was very basic as we expected. There was a lot to do in the area. We enjoyed the drive in movies, paddle boating on the lakes, wine tasting, and seeing fireworks.

I stayed here b/c rates were lower than the Super 8 where I've stayed before. The rooms were not quite as nice, but the breakfast was much better. You can walk downtown to pubs and restaurants, and the staff were very nice. I'll stay here again.

Older Days Inn - Air Condition did not work correctly, the service light was lit on the unit. Furniture was not very clean and had been written in.

Nothing. Ihad no recourse but take what they offered. Did not seem clean, bathrooms werecramped andbeds wereterrible.

The place is pretty run down. The heater was off so the room was about 40 degrees when I checked in. The hallways weren?t heated and reeked of stale smoke. The room was dirty, the sheets were too small for the bed, the blankets old and worn out. The bathtub had not been cleaned. Peeling paint/caulk in the bathroom, the towel rack was held up with a block of wood. For breakfast there was a plastic container of cereal and a loaf of bread for toast. Won't be staying there again.

Very friendly staff. The room was basic. This was a great hotel. It was clean but pretty basic. No extras. Breakfast was adequate, and staff was very nice.

I reserved a non-smoking room. I am not a picky traveler which is why I gave a 2 rating instead of 1. My perspective is that if the room is clean and the bed comfortable I'm a happy camper. When I reached the 2nd floor hallway I was almost knocked over by the stench of stale cigarette smoke in the hall. The room was tidy but not clean. I did not complain because I was only there to get a few hours of sleep each of my 2-night stay so I didn't spend much time there. The attendant at the front desk was very nice though.

Convenience to downtown. Pricey for a 2 star hotel; drain in tub didn't function; heat could not be raised. The room was adequate.

The rooms were noisy, the mattress was noisy, and the water pipes whistled all night. Not a good place to sleep. The staff was very nice, and it was a conveniet location."

Nothing, I wont stay here again. Uncomfortable room for a far too high price. On my five level rating scales, this place received a FAIR rating, One step above poor.

The room wasn't very nice. It was o.k. for 1 night but if you need to stay any longer, find somewhere else. The continental breakfast didn't offer much. If you like cereal and a plain english muffin then you'd like it there. The bed was VERY firm. Price wasn't too bad.

Hotel had a great location; we could walk to different historical attractions and restaurants. The front desk was not the least bit sympathetic that we were not happy with the hotel, which was the worst part of the experience for us. The room was very dim which makes it hard for a woman to get ready in the morning. The bathroom was a bit dingy looking, as if it was not thoroughly cleaned after each guest. The room itself was clean and simple. Good location if you like to walk, and easy to find for even the navigationally challenged.

It was within walking distance to dining establishments. It was not clean, smelled of smoke and was loud. This hotel was the worst one we have ever stayed at. The owners should be embarrassed of themselves to even open the front door and let people in. People were yelling, swearing and slamming doors well into the night. I would never even consider staying here again, and no one I know ever will either.

The location. Room was cold the heat did not work. The replacement room was dirty. I spent the first 2hrs trying to get the heat to work and cleaning. Not happy! Poor.

The staff were amazing. We had a few problems with room and these were rectified immediately. As we selected a moderate hotel, the hotel met moderate expectations: poor breakfast, poor luxury. Facility, staff, and location are great. If you are looking for an inexpensive room with moderate accommodations, namely, television, clean bed, clean bathroom, and a door with a good lock, than this hotel is perfect. The family of staff makes up for its moderate-ness.

I appreciate the staff and their attempt to be accommodating. Not the hotel. They are friendly, accommodating, pleasant and they make every attempt to provide the best stay possible.
