Description:
Welcome to Days Inn Elizabethtown, NC 5 Sunburst Rating The Days Inn in Elizabethtown offers you the best of both worlds, the old history and charm the city is known for and the modern recreational facilities and services. Elizabethtown was founded in 1773 and named The County Seat of Bladen County. It is the fifteenth oldest town in North Carolina. In 1912 W.M. Corbett opened Crystal Beach adjacent to Goldstons and in 1939 installed the first amusement rides at White Lake. White Lake is one of the five lakes in the Bladen Lake region, the others being Baytree Lake, Singletary Lake, James Lake and Salters Lake. Collectively they are known as the Bay Lakes and all are respectively shallow with the deepest reading at Singletary lake of 11.8 ft. There are picnic and playground areas around these lakes.

There were large mosquitos in the room. Carpet was dirty

I had two rooms booked, and not only did our keys not work, continuously, but the rooms had no fridge or microwave, bugs in the bathroom and main room, air conditioner didn't work, toilet backed up after housekeeping had been in, had to clean stuff out of washer and dryer to use them, the floor was wet in one room, they had about 15 channels on cable and 5 of those were ESPN. But the staff, were extremely helpful. They even wanted to give me a refund right then and there for all the stuff that had gone wrong, but been waiting on online travel agency. Also, there were safes in the rooms, but no keys so you couldnt use them. I caught a huge bug on the ceiling and took it to the front desk and they couldnt identify it either.

We selected the Days Inn because we thought it would be a quick walk to Downtown Bardstown. You could walk but it was close to a mile, rather than a few blocks. The room itself had a funny smell and the bathroom was disgusting. There was a spider web in the closet.

The Days Inn Elizabethtown, KY facility was very run down and needs to be upgraded. The ice machine was broken; there was no high speed internet although it was advertised; in fact, there was no high speed internet available in the hotel office according to the clerk - either LAN or wireless. The room was clean, but very shabby. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact, I would be very hesitant to use any Days Inn hotel based on this stay.

X the head housekeeper and her staff are great people.. They are very friendly and make sure the rooms are neat and clean... The front desk needs to get uniforms ...

This place is a dump. The room was dirty and outdated. Stains all over the chairs & carpet. The staircases were treacherous with some of the concrete steps crumbling. Incessant noise from the Interstate (all rooms are outside). The free breakfast was cold donuts or bagels. The shower curtain was nice (that was about it).

They were short-staffed that day, but the rooms needed to be fixed up. Air conditioner, sink, and lamp were broken and floor was dirty. Didn't get free breakfast. Nice pool and comfortable beds.

Stayed there several times. We like the pool. It wasn't clean enough, but we didn't end up with any infections or anything. They had an exercise room and washers and dryers and vending machines. Free ice was plentiful. Black mold was evident in shower, but it was clean. All was quiet during the night, thankfully. It had a safe but I gues you need to ask for a key in order to use it.

After reading the previous review, I can't believe that I stayed in the same Hotel. I had a clean, nice smelling room. Everything was in good condition. I have no complaints and would stay here again.
