	Date of Stay: April, 2007
The room was nice size, not clean bubble gum stuck to headboard of bed. bathroom wasnt to clean needs maintence. wasnt notified that they were under construction being awaken @ 7am by saws and jackhammers tiering out pool. the whole purpose of our visit to durham was because medical problems being seen @ duke and was very stressful and restless.

My wife, son and i stayed here for 2 days in february. The Day's Inn is clean and comfortable. The rooms are a nice size. The king size bed is great. My son enjoyed jumping up and down on it. The staff is personable and friendly. They even give you free wifi. My room had a small refrigerator and a microwave. Hey, this is not a 5 star hotel but neither is the price a 5 star price. Great value for the money.

the staff was very professional and the place was very clean. and the pool was great. as much as i travel in an economical rate i think they had a lot to offer. the pool was just rebuild last year.

Nothing. Everything. They had blood on the bed sheets and there were hookers outside the hotel door.

My stay here was amazing. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and the heating/cooling worked great. Also, the mattresses are brand new and soo comfortable. The pool looked so great also, but it was too cold to jump in! Overall, I recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place to stay in Durham. It's only minutes from downtown but in a completely safe area. We will definitely be staying here in the future!

Breakfast okay. Didn't like the neighborhood, empty beer bottles on ground. Unfriendly tennants, untasteful remarks when unloading car by other tennants and very uncomfortable feeling, towel rack fell off of the wall in bathroom and hit me on the head and back while on the toilet.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was the worse place that I ever stayed. As soon as I opened the door it smelled like raid. The couch cushions were sagging. The shower drain did not drain. The iron did not work, so we requested another iron. The front desk told us that the only iron they had was the one that was in our room.

it was one the cleanest highway property i have stayed in. my oher friends who came to play golf were also very pleased.

Dirty room. Dirty hotel room, toilet was dirty and would not flush. Would not recommend to anyone. Did not stay the night, just left keys in the room and found another hotel.

I think I got one of the rooms that wasn't renovated yet. I requested a room from which I could keep an eye on my car in the parking lot, although I did not get the impression that it was a bad part of town. My experience might have been different if I had accepted the first room I was offered. The cleanliness was disappointing. There were hair fragments around the sink. The bed seemed to be clean, although I did find the remote control for the TV under the bedspread.There were gaps around the electrical outlets. The shower head was sticking out through a hole in the wall. The grout around the tiles in the shower was black.At 5 AM, a man banged loud and long on a neighbor's door, calling his name and yelling in Spanish. I realize management cannot completely control this type of thing, but I think less-expensive hotels will have more of this type of patron.I'm sorry to leave so much criticism; the man at the desk when I checked in and the woman who checked me out seemed nice. They may have been the owners.I think I'll spend more money next time.

Location. Breakfast did not have anything for me to eat, as must have a gluten free diet. Hotel okay for purpose of trip, surgery at hospital nearby. Free breakfast did not have any items I could eat as I must have a gluten free diet. Suggest that have at least one cereal or at least grits or yogurt on the menu. Otherwise the items provided were fine.

I had booked my room at a different hotel but they sent me to days inn as they did not have a pool. Fortunately this days inn had a very good swimming pool. Rooms were very nice and clean. Front desk was very friendly and helped us to give the directions to go to everywhere we wanted to go to. Continental breakfast was good. Overall this place offered everything for a cheap price. I am very satisfied and will stay again when I come to visit my son at duke. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Attractive outside, nice pool. Plumbing poor, commode flushed slow, bathroom walls, floor wasdirty. Attractive looking hotel behind another hotel on busy street. Working to improve the looks. Needs some plumbing work and bathroom cleanup.

Waitress in breakfast area was very ice. Dirty. I cannot believe it is a Day's Inn. That brand is usually clean.

It was close to Duke University. Very overpriced; not worth the rate that is being charged. In my room the deadbolt lock didn't work. The dining area was not clean. The continental breakfast was not great. The property was old looking and understaffed. I will not stay at this hotel again and I don't recommend it to anyone. My money could have been well-spent else. The only good this was that it was located in the area I has business in.
