Close to cruise, ship dock and friendly staff for people not used to big city life. The bell boy. Good place, clean and I think safe. Small elevator was sort of creepy.

Great Hotel! On arrival was upgraded to a Suite. No view(buildings in way). Very quiet (was located opposite end to elevator). Very clean. Nice to have extra room to work on computer at night. Broadband excellent. Convenient and friendly restaurant located below reception. Was attending a course nearby at the Fairmont Waterfront. 3 minute walk. Very centrally located. Close to shopping malls. I was very happy with this hotel.

Rooms were very clean but smallish thoug comfortable, only slept in it so was not an issue. Front desk extremely friendly. Irish pub right next door is a must!!! Great atmosphere, service and food. Breakfast downstairs was good. Very clean area within short walking distance to waterfront area and a few blocks from cruise ship (Canada Place.) Wish I had booked Vancouver for a few days of touring before the cruise...very nice area to explore. Would stay at this location again and have no trouble suggesting this hotel to my friends.

I thought that it might be a dive, since it wasn't expensive in the heart of a city, but it was clean and comfortable. The room was small, but I didn't need anything large. The only minus, I suppose, was that it didn't have a refrig. even though it was supposed to have one, although the only thing I use refrigs. for are leftovers that I want to eat the next day.The pluses are that the staff was nice and helpful and gave detailed directions for me since I used public transit.Try to get a room as high up as possible so as not to hear the people outside the pub at night.I was on the 7th floor(out of 8) and that was to my advantage. The restaurant downstairs cooked a good breakfast for me.The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable. The maids were nice. I'd stay there again.

Good location and when we checked out, the ladies were very nice. Also, the cleaning ladies were very nice and courteous. No hot water. Room was small. I now have big bruises on my legs from banging into the cabinet over and over again as the room was so cramped.

Great location, but it is downtn...staff very accomodating. Near-by the shore front, close to Convention Cntr, Gastown, and Stanley Park. Take SeaBus to N. Vanc to Groose Mntn. Great rooms, but small...had room with 2 sep rooms, both had queens and sep TV's. Take the public trans, but had to pay 10-13 dollars for parking...in/out previlages. Had own laundry room at our level."

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was great. The toiletries provided weren't very nice we went and bought our own. I would highly recommend this hotel for people looking to be located in a nice area of downtown Vancouver and who aren't interested in paying the prices of upscale hotels.

Location. There internet didn't work. Good location but makes sure the internet works when you check in if that's important to you.

Room european sized, but clean & comfortable. Staff very helpful, gave great tips on where to eat. Extremely pleasant! The price was terrific - infact I was a little worried that the hotel wouldn't be so great because of the price, but I would stay there again in a heart beat. Also, the location was perfect, easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go.

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small. There was only on elevator. I was located on the seventh floor. The hotel was well located and reasonably priced. It generally met my expectations. I would recommend the hotel to any one on a budget.

My online reservation was not honoured, and the staff were indifferent even when I made simple inquiries about the airport shuttle. I was given wrong information and overheard one staffer calling a hotel guest a 'jerk' without trying to keep her voice down. Hotel is nice, but staff aren't.

Wonderful people running the restaurant and working the front desk. Tiny room that had a window facing a brick wall.

Clean & location. Smallest room and bed I have seen in a hotel in years. Over priced for the size of room, bath and bed. I just got off a cruise ship and its room, bath and bed were larger. No place to put suit cases, not tub. One elevator that was so slow in responding that it was easier to walk the five floors than wait. People at desk were helpful and polite. Very limited lobby. No shuttle services for port or air port.

The room was very small but clean. The concierge was very helpful and so were the desk staff. Very comfortable

Staff was informative, about where I should and should not go and being a single female, they held on to my car for 2 more hours after check-out. Friendly staff, affordable and safe place to stay, loved the location, walking distance to shopping, cruise terminal, Stanley park, Chinese gardens, simple and comfortable.

Nice to have the hotel close to the cruise ships.Restaurant & Bar needs to be available.Clerks should be friendlier to customers.

Very pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. The coffee machine was bad model. It worked only at the Luke warm level and not boiling hot. We could not enjoy hot cup of tea while in room. Clean, convenient, comfortable, co-operative staff.

Convenient location; friendly staff; quiet accommodations. The bathroom was about the size of a closet! I could barely fit (standing) behind the sink. Convenient location. Friendly staff; adequate accommodations.
