Parking was in a scary (not safe-feeling) lot that cost you $12/day. They had me check in again after the first night, even though reservations had been made for 2 nights (though one through Orbitz and one without Orbitz). The room was dark, and unlevel (the mirror on the wall dipped unevenly to the right and the TV cabinet dipped unevenly to the left). It was spacious and comfortable enough, however. Relatively clean. We stayed for 2 nights.

It's located within a short walk to Vieux Montreal, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the stages for the summer festivals. The hotel's client parking was behind the hotel in a questionable area and many cars get broken into. We worried about our car being targeted. The staff was pleasant and helpful. It was a typical hotel with a typical room and bath. The hallway carpeting needs to be replaced, it smells a bit. No frills but adequate. Breakfast in the small dining area was okay and convenient. They charge about $15 extra per day for parking. Don't leave anything in your car. Many drinking and homeless people around the back and cars are broken into often.

excellent location, close to downtown plan on going back

They only have outdoor parking. When I booked in Dec there was a thick sheet of extremely slippery ice covering the entire parking lot. They had not bothered to put salt or sand on it but kept sending their guests there. We simply could not park there and had to help another family get their car out. It was impossible to walk on it! The two double bed room I reserved was good but the hallways did not smell very good either. I canceled my reservation and moved to another hotel.

the staff its very attentive, clean, very nice location at walking distance of mostly everything (city helps a lot with the underground tunnels and subways), price around the regular price of a days inn, so it's affordable.on the down side, rooms are very small, with all the buildings around and being a small one there's no view, no (free) parking, as in downtown most of the time close parking is scarce (but hey you go to walk and get to know).I would definitely repeat the visit, very family friendly.

I asked twice when checking in where the correct parking lot was. The next day after checking out I recieved a $42 parking ticket and was told to take it up with the Hotel staff. The staff said don't worry just sigh it and plead not guilty we will take care of it. We will see?

Excellent Service and Clean Rooms. Parking was $15 per Night. If you are looking for a great hotel near the heart of Montreal's night life and you are on a tight budget this is the place for you.

A good hotel with large rooms and friendly staff. Close to St. Cahterine's and a few minutes from the CBD. Excellent value and good for the business traveller

The reception desk was incredibly professional and very accomodating. I had many requests and questions and they answered all. The feather bed was a luxurious touch. Computer usage was 5 a day, but they allowed me to use it to check in to my flight for free. Definitely would stay here again.

The parking cost 12$ per day and the Wi-Fi didn't work but when i told them that i need to do check-in to my flight they brought me a free access to the business room with an internet.

Bathrooms were clean. There was very little light - like a dungeon. The 3 star rating is totally bogus - I would say this hotel might be a 2 star. The bathroom was clean, but the carpets suspect. They have taken out the light bulbs in the hall lamps, using 1 instead of 2 and the place feels like a dungeon. Lighting was also inadequate in the rooms as well. I was very disappointed by the hotel rating - and the hotel description. In short, I would not stay there again but pay more for a better quality hotel, a real 3 star hotel.

The picture online is not what the hotel looks like. Parking for your car was about 1 block away in a large lot, no security..at night very dark and dangerous. But it was in a convenient place, near St Catherines St.

A great, centrally located hotel...more than we expected for the price. Within easy walking distance from Chinatown, downtown & Vieu Montreal....we'd definitely stay here again!

Getting into Montreal, the hotel was easy to find and in a very convenient location in downtown Montreal. Walking distance to all the main attractions, including Old Montreal. The rooms were clean, the service from front desk to the cleaning lady was extraordinary. If I go back to Montreal, this would be my choice. I highly recommend the hotel, as well as Montreal.

Inexpensive, what you need on travel is available, namely hi speed internet, restaurant...

Great location, walking distance to China Town, Old Montreal and St. Catherine Street. Everything else is just average.

There were three different large groups of youngsters there; they blocked up the small lobby making it difficult to pass. They were also noisy, especially the last group of older teens on the 8th floor. We would have left early if we could get a refund!!! Everything else was mediocre. And don't forget one (of three) very rude desk clerk of whom I did not get a name. She wore a dark suit on the evening of 5/10.

This hotel is the best Days Inn you'll ever stay in, anywhere. Seriously it's won awards apparently (on display). Front desk staff was helpful/friendly. Bartender is a funny dude. Location of hotel is great and near metro if you even need it. And price is good (for us Americans at the time of stay). Quiet at night and esp. for sleeping in after late night out. Bad things: the "Business center" has ridiculously slow internet access and room fridge was not working.
