the hotel could have been a little more cleaner. They wanted to check our room before we checked out to make sure we didn't take their towels. I've never experience that before.
Date of Stay:

The hotel was okay. Although it wasn't bad, I'm not sure I would stay there again. I'm not a big fan of the outside entrances. Someone was going door to door trying to open each door in the middle of the night.

And not in a good way, the first thing you notice when you walk into the rooms is the musty smell. The bathroom is dilpidated, while the room decore is outdated by 3 decades.

It was a good location to go to Dover Downs. The staff was friendly. The rooms, while a little older and not the highest of quality, were still very clean and quiet. Offered a nice morning breakfast complete with waffles.

Easy check-in and check-out. Not in a good neighborhood, looked cheap. Fairly clean, very nice staff, comfortable bed, very small shower/tub, not worth the money, looked like the hotel was beside a bad neighborhood. This would be fine for a business traveler that was alone or if you just had to have a place to stay, however, it will not be my choice in Dover again.

The hotel was 2 minutes from my job site. The rooms smelled poorly, lamps did not wotk, tub was dirty, mattress was worn out and sagged in the middle.

Very friendly staff. Near major road, not very pedestrian safe. About as expected, this is more of a motel, single floor, doors right by parked cars, right for the price which was inflated due to nascar race weekend. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were acceptably clean. Located near many family friendly restaurants.

We were there to sleep and take a shower. The bathroom door didn't close. The shower was okay. There was only one outlet in the bathroom. The smoke alarm was ripped off of the wall and laid on top of the clothes rack. Other than that it was okay. It served it's purpose. It was close to the racetrack which is what we wanted.

The staff was very friendly. Nothing. It was nice hotel I stayed in I enjoyed the staff they was so friendly prices was affordable I will stay there again and I like the area because it was near everything.

Wasn't a bad hotel, everything was awesome except for the bathroom was a little concerning, but other than that everything was great!

Good price for the service. They initially were not going to accommodate 4 people and only provide one queen bed. The desk clerk was very accommodating and made the difference with our stay.

This hotel had alot going for it in that if you are going to gamble its located very close to Dover Downs, however if you planned on gambling during the day and having a peaceful nights sleep then you are out of luck. The front desk at checkin was very friendly the room was clean, establishment is very old though and the walls paper thin. We got back from gambling @11:30PM on a Sat and noticed some shady looking characters hanging around our car in no time. Next, with in 5 min we have loud pounding on our door, then we actually have someone try to OPEN our door, in between lots of loud yelling and profanity amongst them. I called front desk to request new room but of course they were booked. They did state they would come out and see what the problem was but we decided it was just not worth the stress and drove home, 2hrs away.

Lots of pillows, friendly staff. Stingy towel supply for two. Way better than your usual days Inn - pleasant surprise.

The staff friendliness, cleanness of the room, and easy access. I stay at the Dover Days in for Memorial Weekend visiting family and it surpassed my expectations. It was affordable, extremely clean and the staff was very helpful at all times. I will make the Dover Days Inn my first choice on further trips.

The Days Inn in Dover,DE is centrally located on DuPont Highway. I was greeted very cordially and made to feel welcome after a long flight from California and drive from Philadelphia. The room was very clean. Lighting could be a little brighter in the room. Breakfast was wonderful with several choices such as cheese filled crepes that are different from the usual with breakfast fare. The best part is the lady in attendance at breakfast who assures that you maximize the experience by pointing out everything that is available and assuring that all items needing preparation are clearly understood. It was like being invited into her home. Later, I returned an hour after checkout realizing that I had thrown away my directions to Falls Church, VA. The desk staff sat me down at a computer and assured that the next leg of my journey would be as flawless as the first.

Some of the staff was helpful. This was a 1-star hotel at best. The hotel room was small and dirty. The security/safety was weak (major highway with doors opening to the parking lot.

The staff wasvery friendly. Very loud at night when trying to sleep. Our room was close to the street and the door didn't seem to seal very well so all night it sounded like the door was open. It is on a very busy street so it was hard for some of the people in our group to sleep.I personally slept very well. the breakfast was very nice, beyond our expectations. The staff was some of the nicest i've met. OverallI was happy but some people with me were not.

It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Every time we stay at this hotel, we have fun. They know who to call for transportation to the Casino and how to get there and get back. Let you know about the continental breakfast and always had fresh coffee ready. Staff is like someone you know, will stay again in the future and will be glad to let others know about it.
Date of Stay:
January, 2008
Continental breakfast included Omelettes and home-made waffles. Check-in/check-out was quick and efficient. Lobby was clean and roomy. Staff was very pleasant. Rooms were clean and uncluttered. Continental breakfast menu was varied and very tasty.
