I don't believe that I've ever stayed at a hotel quite like this. It seems that 20 years ago, it was probably top notch, but that is no longer the case. The room was nestled right up against I-80. Typically, this would not be a problem as the windows would normally block the noise. Unfortunately, these windows seemed to be the original ones that were there when the hotel was built. The room itself was pretty dirty. There were not only cobwebs with dead bugs in them, but also spider eggs. The room also seemed to be in overall disrepair. The lock on the door took about 10-15 swipes to open each time which got a little frustrating. Other minor things were, the room did not get serviced at all and the beds were left unmade each day/towels not replenished. Decaf Coffee was the only coffee that was put in the room. The website says that each room has a microwave and refrigerator, but my room only had a refrigerator. And, the reception on the TV was VERY snowy to the point I couldn't really watch anything. Good thing they had a decent wireless connection.

Extremely dirty. Very disappointing.

I have never written a review for anything, ever, but feel compelled to warn anyone who may be thinking of staying here. Don't let the pictures fool you or the low price make you think "how bad could it be". It is that bad!!! It smells like an old ashtray and the whole place is filthy.

I stayed at this hotel 2years ago and loved it.This year was a nightmare. It is run down, rooms are dreary, dark and outdated pool was ""cloudy"" The atrium is unkept and windows are filthy. What a shame!! It was such a nice family hotel, what happened?? I'll never go back.

The room was right next to the pool, very noisy. The continental breakfast was lousy and the internet was limited to a pc in the lobby.

Convenience. Bathroom and toilet. The hotel is like a dungeon. It is very dark and feels like you are walking into a cave. Not clean at all.

Seriously - what do you expect for the price you pay?!? We chose to stay here while we visited Knoebels amusement park. We thought this Days Inn was excellent. The pool area was beautifully kept - it was very clean and very well lit. Very well maintained. Our room was very clean and well cared for. The furnishings were up-to-date and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are already planning to come back next year!

I stayed at this motel approx 12 to 15 years ago, enjoyed it. This time not so, pool was dirty, all rooms were to have mini fridge and microwave, this was not the case. You had to ask for 1 or both, but I was only told that after I asked housekeeping ....the next day. With the pool being so bad, we spent more time in the room than we wanted and I think I get more channels on my tv from the local antenna.

Near the highway. Showed it's age a little. Hotel was fine. Staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was a little iffy. Waffle was good, cereal was good and milk fresh. Coffee full of grounds, orange juice and apple juice machine didn't work.

This hotel was bad. The hotel is tired and in need of a lot of work. THe continental breakfast was the poorest I have expereinced. We prepaid * per night. When we checked out we were presented a bill for *. We said that we had already prepaid *. The clerk explained she made an error, that we would have paid only * if we came in off the street. In the future we won't do business through online website or with Days Inn. This was a most disappinting expereince.

Staff was very friendly. Bar/lounge right next to rooms. Band played until 2am. The staff was very nice. They wanted you to be happy but they really were not able to give you a peaceful clean stay. Right next to the lounge which had a band play until 2am. The toilet did not work properly. The next night they moved us to a room that the shower did not drain and it was on the corner by an entrance door and they happened to have a sports group there that night and they were going in and out all night. The staff apologized for everything but they didn't know how to control there environment. Also the continental breakfast ran out of food by 8:40am.

Our hotel stay in July, 2007 was the single worst stay that our family has ever had at any hotel in any location ever. An all-night party was taking place on the parking lot outside of our room. Beer drinking and profanity went on all night. In the hallway, drunken people were racing radio-controlled cars outside our room from 2-3 in the morning. The hotel was staffed by one overnight clerk, who could not do anything to stop these things despite repeated requests, phone-calls, and a visit to the front desk at 4 a.m.. The noise did not end until 5:45 in the morning. Since then, the hotel has been unresponsive to discussing this issue with me. According to the front desk clerk, the owner of the hotel "will never have time to speak with you." Enjoy Knoebels and the Danville area, but make them a day trip or stay someplace else. This is not the place to stay if you (a) have a family and/or (b) want to sleep.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It took me 20 minutes to check out, we got locked out of our room because our key cards were deactivated, the pool water was murky and smelled funny, our shower curtain was full of mildew, the sink in the bathroom was disgusting, the toilet didn't flush right, there were stains on the ceiling, and the bed was hard. The worst part was that there is a bar there and they have a dj playing music until 2am every Friday and Saturday! It was unbelievably loud and could be heard from the other side of the hotel and we were unable to sleep. This place was a disaster. I also heard other people complaining that the continental breakfast was awful.

The room had both a microwave and a refrigerator. The pool was too cold and the continental breakfast was not good and the room was pretty dirty.

We checked in and back out inside of 1/2 hour. The door locks were broken. The roof was leaking and it was raining into the pool! It smelled! The outside was unsafely lit. This is not a safe or clean place to stay for anyone at all! We wouldn't dare to touch the food, although the smell made us sick enough not to be hungry anyhow. The 3 for service is because our money was refunded, however, rooms of this condition should not be allowed be rented at all. We have NEVER left a hotel before due to safety concerns.

Nothing. Hotel very run down. Not very clean. Would not recommend.

Wireless internet worked. It was dirty and noisy. I didn't expect much out of this hotel, as we were only looking for an overnight place to sleep. But the facilities were poor, in bad condition, and not clean. The pool looked filthy, and the bathroom did not appear very clean. There was also a disco of some sort in the hotel bar, which doesn't do much to add to the place as a family friendly hotel.

"We arrived at 2 am after a PSU football game, were amused by the extremely loud music at the nightclub. First, they didn't have the rollaway bed we reserved, and never called me back after they were going to ""look into it"", and the shower didn't work and they wouldn't do anything for us. 1.5 months later, no resolution from customer service. "

I did not like anything about the hotel at all. It was dirty, run down, smelled. Absolutely gross! I would not even walk barefoot in the room or shower. There was mold in bathroom. Holes in the blanket which had a really bad odor. I kept my suitcase in my car because I was afraid that there would be roaches or other bugs that would make a home in my belongings. It is the nastiest place in the world I have ever seen.
