Even though the motel didn't have an elevator, the staff was very helpful with our luggage as we were on the second floor. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Clean. Nothing. It was very nice, but it was obvious that it was a small family run deal.
Date of Stay:
June, 2008
Very comfortable room with handicapped bathroom facilities. The breakfast was great - waffles, muffins, cereal, all kinds of juice, etc. with a large breakfast area.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
Location. This hotel was so dismal we decided to leave and go to Rapid City to stay somewhere else. When we arrived to the hotel the outside was dismal and dirty. The inside was not any better. We left the hotel.
Date of Stay:
December, 2008
Location. Burn holes in blankets/stains on side of bed. It was cold weather when we returned to the room each day the heat was turned off. There were burn holes in the comforters and stains on the side of the bed.

September, 2008
Affordable and good continental breakfast. Bed is hard.

We were in a room by the back door. Not enough words allowed. When we got there, the clerk was sleeping on the couch in the lobby, there's only a small hot tub the size of a plastic kiddy pool. The continental breakfast was ok.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Quiet. Stained, dirty hot tub, musty breakfast area, poor breakfast selection. Friendly staff when spoken to, didn't use the hot tub because of the dirtiness and unappealing stained color inside and the fact that it was 5 feet from the parking lot! For breakfast there was a selection of either waffles, 2 types of cereal, or muffins. There was 1 apple out one morning (at 7 am) and one orange the next morning same time, no that they could have ran out already! We would not stay there again, would have liked to have a pool for the kids.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Nothing. They had they dirty towels and linens in the main lobby with a sign saying what it was. They had they dirty towels and linens in the main lobby with a sign saying what it was. The manager wasn't on site and the staff didn't seem to mind that the dirty linens were in the lobby.

Close to Main Street. Not enough information about it, and lacked appeal. The help has the laundry on the floor when they were folding it, the rooms were not cleaned right, the carpets smelled, the breakfast area was dray and gloomy, etc.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
We needed a handicap accessible room and the hotel put us on the second floor/no elevators. Clean, friendly, fair. The beds were too hard, the staff super sweet. Overall, it was perfect for our needs.
Date of Stay:

Location. Desk clerk not a friendly person, would not help out with questions or problems. Hotel was nice neat. Room was clean, Maids did a real well job, accept for the desk clerk.

The location was excellent! Smoking area was right in front of entrance. Although the location was primo, this hotel was lacking in cleanliness and staff courtesy. This hotel does not care about customer satisfaction as the last vacationers before us left a survey card; that survey card was still in the room when we checked out. The smoking area was right in front of the side entrance for enter/exit. Non-smokers had to pass through a cloud of smoke in order to get to the parking lot from the side.

Nice location, friendly staff. No Wi-Fi access. If you are looking for a motel centrally located at Black Hills, this is the place.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
Affordable. No pool. We enjoyed our stay because we just needed a place to sleep and get ready each day on our Black Hills vacation.
Date of Stay:

Very friendly and accommdating staff. The hotel is located very close to the center of town. Walking distance to anything. Very friendly staff. I would recommend this Days Inn to others.

Helpful workers. The continental breakfast needed some work. Cold coffee for the continental breakfast, how about some bagels? Orange juice/apple juice machines did not work. Good location to get into town.

Staff was very helpful. NA. Wonderful customer service.

Clean, friendly and a very nice breakfast. Bed was as hard as a rock! No counter space in bathroom. My biggest complaint was that the bed was as hard as a rock! If not for the hard bed we were quite happy with everything else.
Date of Stay:
August, 2006
Location and hotel services. Stairs to breakfast impossible for disabled traveler. Good value and super location - great for younger kids but walking impaired will have trouble with second floor rooms and basement breakfast.
